I had to go back to the counter to tell her this was the best sandwich we had ever had at Subway and we have been going for many years. We have been to a lot of Subway's all over when we travel. She was so grateful she said I've only been working here four days! I couldn't believe it! What was so good about the sandwich was it was perfect. She put care into her job. And it showed! I go to the subway all the time but today I got treated like garbage. I ordered two sandwiches, a dipper and some nachos. The lady seemed very annoyed at my order. I asked for a rotisserie chicken she told me they were out of chicken. I asked for a Philly cheesesteak. She told me they were out of steak. I ended up getting a different sandwich. The people right behind me ordered a Philly cheesesteak from someone else and turns out they had plenty of steak, but the lady taking my order use the excuse that they were short staffed when I could clearly see four or five people working there. Food ok. Service SUCKS!!!! I accept the fact that everyone is understaffed and drive thru takes a long time. But if the order taker would LISTEN for key phrases like "not toasted" or "extra onions" it could go faster Then, I get my two sandwiches and four bags of chips. My son offered to buy me a sandwich since he was getting one for himself. Having ordered the Sweet Onion Teriyaki 6" sub in the past I figured it was a safe choice. With this in mind I can offer a comparison from the Lemoore,CA,Lodi,CA and now the Brookings,OR review between these three. The Lemoore store was by far the best as it was loaded with meat and then overflowing with the veggies. The Lodi store which I sampled as early as a week ago while not loaded was still substantial enough to justify the price. That leaves the Brookings store which when I opened it up was basically a small salad. While the veggies were fresh,there were only 6 small pieces of the chicken teriyaki meat. So it was hardly worth the cost and the vinegarette dressing wasn't even enough to cover the vegetables much less soak into the roll. I can't comment on the service. I assume it's fine with a call in order as my son has eaten here a few times recently. read more

Disgusting store. There were a couple of flies flying around, and it was apparent that the workers didn't give a damn. The one woman with long black hair kept fooling around and touch her hair that I asked her to wash her hands before she made my sandwich. She did and then just took her time to serve me and when she felt like it she just turned it over to someone else. There were two couples in front of me and it took them forever to get to me, probably about 20 minutes or more. They were rude people and had the attitude that they just don't care about you. Food was good, store was not very clean and the assistant manager needs customer service training. She was extremely rude for no reason at all. If I had a business I would never have someone with a temperament like that dealing with customers. I have eaten here twice. great friendly service and a healthier option over other fast food chain restaurants in the area. Try their flat bread sandwhich especially they are delicious. the line moves at a good pace and although it may be slower than McDonald's I think the quality of the food makes it worth the extra wait. A visit to Brookings had us looking for a family lunch we needed to buy several hours before consuming it, and Subway seemed perfect. We had a little trepidation after reading reviews for this Subway restaurant as they were not too good. Jordan waited on us and handled our order quickly and professionally. She was friendly and was able to multi-task as drive-thru orders were coming in and the bread oven needed attention while she prepared our order. My boyfriend and I were driving down from Seattle, WA all the way down to Palm Springs, CA. We took a quick stop to get something to eat after driving for what seemed like forever. The two people working that day were friendly and when we asked for directions they were more than helpful. We drove up and were one of maybe 3 cars in the area. From the confusing signage we couldn't tell where to order from. As I drove around there was a ordering speaker. We didn't hear anyone and being the only car with anyone in it we just drove up to the window. A young girl stared at us and then opened the window. I said hello and the first thing out of her mouth, "Do you want something?" I looked at my daughter and we weren't even sure how to respond. I said yeah we wanted to order. Subway is under new management. Tuna sandwich was kind of skimpy. Today had meat and cheese sandwich. Didn't have it toasted because sometimes the bread becomes too hard. Honestly. Subway is a go-to place when I get those sandwich cravings. They're always nice, and friendly, even when my orders get complicated. During a busy rush hour order, they once forgot the second sandwich on my order. So, I called them up, like a responsible person, and told them the issue. They apologized and told me to come in whenever I wanted for a sandwich. Phone call took less than 5 minutes, so easy. The sandwiches are decent, as you'd expect from a Subway but the service needs improvement. Some of the girls that I have encountered act as they're put out to make your sandwich. I'm not too picky either, but being friendly is a must when you're in customer service. Bread always fresh and fluffy, sandwiches made to order with fresh veggies, meat and cheeses. baked Lays potato chips and a juice box all in a small velcro reusable bag for under $4. Every Subway I visit is consistency the same, fresh, and no surprises. This one even has a drive-thru for those coastal down pours when you want to stay dry. I ordered a 6 inch tuna toasted and it was completely cold, a pepperoni pizza which was cold as well and they put the toppings underneath the cheese. I will never tip at this establishment, the workers are not fair with the tips at all. They don't share them with all of the employees, only certain employees get tips even though everyone works equally as hard but some people get tips and others dont?? Got in line at the drive through to order, there was one car ahead of me, I waited over 10 minutes before the car ahead of me was helped, all while sitting there being gagged by smoke coming from an employee behind the fence where the dumpster is. Finally, they took my order and I pulled up to the window. I waited another 10 minutes before they took my money, then gave me my food. The employee said he was having a problem finding something to mark the salads because they were different. I was in the drive thru for over 20 minutes. They have a Dec "customer appreciation" promotion, $2 for a 6" sub (two choices to choose from) ,first time I ordered they attempted to charge $4.50...I corrected them and had to stand and wait for them to fix the overcharge. I tried again a few days later, they were out of the meat for the promotion, so I ordered it without meat...and was charged $4.25. The promotion has been in effect for over 3 weeks, surely the employees are aware of it by now, but cant seem to remember it when its time to charge the customer? read more

I've been there multiple times and I always get the same thing (BLT) with a few other things and they forget the lettuce and tomato and I get people make mistakes and all but those are the two things that make a BLT I don't see how they could forget those.
