    Combo platter

It was 2pm Wednesday today. Not very busy. We ordered at the counter and specified eating in. Ordered- * cup of clam chowder each - very creamy. Plenty of minced clams. * hubby two pieces fish & chips * combo seafood platter for me - one cod, 4 calamari strips, 2 oysters, 4 shrimp, and 4 oz clams. Cod & oysters were great. The shrimp was too salty and barely coated. The clams were non existent. The calamari strips were very wiggly. The next time I come I'll order either the deep fried oysters or the fish & chips with cup of clam chowder.

We stopped here while on my family's yearly HW101 trip and OMG! This place is a gold find! We (family of 4) got so much food because we wanted to try it all and none of it disappointed! *my favorite part was the cashier/cook that was singing through our visit. This guy can cook and sing! lol I'd definitely stop here again

Decent seafood shack in Brookings, Oregon. Came here looking for fresh seafood. Ordered their combo filled with shrimp, clamps, oysters and fish ($23). The order was good although on the oily side and the clams had a slight previously frozen texture. Ambiance was basic with a free water station. Overall good food.

Great deal on a large meal which was the perfect size for splitting with my hot date. Great location and friendly staff who hooked it up with the sauces. Fast delivery from order to table and overall quite yummy. Slaw was solid. Sauces on point.

Outside seating is great ( also has inside seating too). Corn dog is really good, tater tots needs seasoning as soon as they come out of the fryer!! You get a bag of chips with the corn dog. You can upgrade to the tater tots. I bought a 25oz beer $2.89 PBR at Sharky's Market next door.

Delicious! Everything we got was portioned large and tasted delicious! This place is very casual and is located at the port area of Brookings OR. Several tables for two and four inside with much more seating outside in the shade and sun with umbrellas for shade. Spoke with patrons on the way inside and they highly recommend the food, as do I!

My husband loved it. I wasn't particularly pleased with my fish and chips. The fries were okay, tartar sauce was good, cocktail sauce was terrible, and the fish pieces were soft/soggy. Coleslaw was good. Lemon slices looked rotten. Service was fine; not friendly, not rude. Plenty of parking and seating.

Omgoodness the Best clam chowder and fish and chips in the area. We tried everywhere and this is the best. I always get it then we get the 32 oz before we go home. Friendly staff too, they're always very nice and helpful if needed whatever it may be. Sorry I didn't get pics of their wonderful food

3pc Fresh Halibut with French fries.

Not sanitary. They lick the their fingers as they pick up the paper when they put it in the individual baskets for your fish and chips, fries, etc... They'll wipe the counters and use the dirty rag to moisten their fingers to open to go bags. Terrible service. Not a friendly smile. They look miserable and don't want to work. Food portion and quality aren't great. Here's what $30 gets you.

Outdoor seating... nice breeze and the smell is wonderful.

It was expensive and not much food. The fries were from frozen packaging. The clam chowder was good but not much of it for bowl size.

First place we tried when we got to Brookings…read more Great food and service. Came here with the family. We got 2 pizzas that were shareable sizes. We got a margherita and all meat. Both really good and made in their stone oven. We also got the calmari for appetizers. Calamari cooked perfectly, not rubbery. Light batter, crispy, and seasoned really well that gave it great flavor. Others in the group ordered a clam chowder bread bowl, chicken Parmesan, fish & chips and shrimp & chips. The overall consensus was good. Casual atmosphere and perfect location. It's at the boardwalk near an arcade. During the day, there's also ice cream and coffee nearby. Couldn't get any pictures.

We came down to Brookings to take care of some business and decided to stop in for lunch and a drink afterwards. We weren't especially hungry so we ordered our usual favorites (clam chowder for me and steamer clams for the fellow) that combo usually helps us decide whether or not we want to return, without breaking the bank on a new spot. Our server was delightful, she was kind and attentive without being overbearing. Our order took a little longer than expected for what we ordered but we didn't mind, we had some nice blackberry cider they had on tap to tide us over. I was a little disappointed when our meals came out and I didn't get a slice of bread with my bowl of clam chowder like the fellow did with his steamers, but we were able to buy a half batard for $5 and that was perfect for us to split. It came out warm with a side of butter and complimented the chowder much nicer than the oyster crackers they originally brought out would have. In fact I recommend getting the bread if you order the chowder, it almost stole the show. The chowder was delicious, could've been warmer but still very tasty, the potatoes were cut super thin, and the clams were plump and tender and tasted fresh, they did add bacon but not in overwhelming amounts, and I thought it was spiced perfectly. I only added a few shakes of red pepper flakes to finish it. The fellow thought his steamer clams/mussels were marvelous, with a very flavorful broth, and he loved the fact that he was allowed to mix them. They made a good first impression on us, we will definitely be returning for dinner and ordering a couple of pizzas and perhaps a salad as well. Who knows, they may prove to be one of our new favorite spots.

My wife ordered the Agedashi Tofu & Pork Gyozas and I had a couple of rolls, the spicy Rouge and a plain Jane salmon, avocado and cucumber roll. Everything was fantastic. The fish was super fresh, the tofu cooked perfectly and the gyoza sauce tangy and yummy. We only had a couple of small issues, more personal preferences really. 1 - my wife enjoyed the tofu, but the dish is described as having an agedashi broth but really it was more of a thicker style sauce smeared on the plate the tofu was placed on. It didn't really have a true broth. 2 - the habanero marmalade was not spicy. The roll was described as a spicy roll, but the marmalade was sweet. Unfortunately, the jalapeños were sweet as well. I know they can't control capsaicin in peppers, but that marmalade needs way more habanero. It would be WONDRFUL on toast though! Note: looking at their menu now they have updated this roll to replace the marmalade with a "tangy sesame". I look forward to trying this to see the difference. If you want a wonderful coastal option that isn't fish & chips, give Pacific Sushi a try.

We parked right in front, walked in, and immediately liked the vibe. The restaurant felt comfortable, relaxed, and inviting. We chose to sit at the sushi bar, which was a great decision. The quality of the sushi really stood out. If we lived anywhere near Brookings, this would absolutely be a go-to spot for us. Great sushi, great atmosphere, and a place we'd happily return to. Highly recommend.

The vibe is exactly what you expect from a awesome little Irish pub. Lots of beer artwork on the walls, cool little tree of life art, and the friendliest staff you'll ever find. The bartender Holly was the most friendly bartender I've had in I feel like a decade or more, and the bar back Josh was pretty awesome himself. He gave us some wonderful tips for some other places to eat at as we travel around the state, and all in all both of them gave us some pretty epic conversation. We almost never said at the bar, we decided to this time and I'm so glad that we did! The food was so so, nothing to really write home about but nothing really wrong either. It's bar food, you get what you expect when you go to an Irish pub. Taco Tuesday was well worth it, I'm a pescatarian so I had the fish taco and then tried their awesome potato taco and enjoyed the potato taco the most actually! I wouldn't pay what they normally charge for these tacos, they're pretty basic and the tortillas are not grilled nearly enough, but Taco Tuesday made three tacos only $10.50 and I could mix and match between all the different types so that was totally worth it! My wife tried the honey mustard chicken salad and unfortunately it did not live up to what she had hoped for. It was a really basic salad the veggies were fresh which was fortunate but it was basic, nothing was really seasoned, the honey mustard dressing didn't taste like mustard at all and the chicken was basic breaded chicken that tasted like it was from Dairy Queen. It was fresh, but still tasted like it was from Dairy Queen. All In all, the drinks and the bartender will definitely keep us coming back. Next time it'll just be for some drinks and some fries probably, but I definitely can't wait to try the steamer clams with jalapenos.
