4 1/2 stars. I decided to go out for a drive up from Eureka today, and my brother who had eaten here before said to stop in. Their parking area is very small, but I found parking on the street no problem at all. I go in, and the place was pretty busy, but I was served right away. The place is clean, I like the train theme, and everybody was friendly. I decided to order the rail, Jumper burger, which came on a brioche bun. For a couple of extra bucks, I asked for garlic, tater tots. The meal was extremely good. The brioche bun was soft, the toppings played very well with the burger, and they were very generous with the garlic on the garlic tots. Also, the tots were tender and delicious. The only reason I'm taking off a half a star, is when I ordered, he didn't ask me how I wanted my burger. While the burger patty itself was extremely good, it was just a little bit overdone for my personal taste. Still very good, not worth sending back. The price was extremely reasonable, plus there's always the Oregon benefit of no sales tax. They have a decent sized menu, and I would stop in again the next time I'm in town. Overall, a very good experience. Thank you.

My family has not stopped talking about R.H. Pub & Grill and we have even adjusted our travel plans to make sure we are able to go again before heading back to California. The food was all delicious, and the service was even better. They were very considerate of allergies and seemed to take it seriously. After telling the server of my allergies and placing my order, he made a note on the order and when he brought out the appetizers for my family he made sure to warn me that it was not safe for me to eat (which I hadn't planned on but still really appreciated). The food though was amazing, and my dad has been telling everyone that the Ruben he had here was the best he has ever had. We will definitely be back!

    Great decor in here!

Excellent pub fare here - easy to find from the highway. I ordered the grilled salmon plate, which was very tasty. My partner ordered the Station Master salad, a huge bowl of deliciousness - great combination of flavors, with colorful presentation. I really liked the train theme here. The only challenge I could forsee is that it seemed to have limited parking options out front; the area across the street is posted 'No restaurant parking'. That small detail aside, I found this to be an excellent value for the menu pricing.

I haven't had a meal here that I didn't like. I always try something new but what I always get that stays the same is the bacon wrap stuff jalapeños. Their service is always great as well. And the ambience it's casual you can sit inside or outside and everyone is friendly.

Wow, this place is amazing. Billy was a friendly and attentive server. I had a yummy coffee cocktail! It was a struggle to decide with their extensive menu, i went with the Gouda Mushroom Burger and Carlos had a Grilled Chicken Pineapple Sandwich. We shared a delicious fresh Cesar salad. Sinfully delicious. Highly recommend. Thumbs way up

We found this place while Rving at local State Park. Loved it so much that we came back a second day on our E bikes. Your bartenders and servers are excellent. The food was phenomenal.

I was in Brookings for work with my wife…read moretraveling with me and we just didn't know where to go, our hotel receptionist said we should come here and man are we glad we listened! The vibe is exactly what you expect from a awesome little Irish pub. Lots of beer artwork on the walls, cool little tree of life art, and the friendliest staff you'll ever find. The bartender Holly was the most friendly bartender I've had in I feel like a decade or more, and the bar back Josh was pretty awesome himself. He gave us some wonderful tips for some other places to eat at as we travel around the state, and all in all both of them gave us some pretty epic conversation. We almost never said at the bar, we decided to this time and I'm so glad that we did! The food was so so, nothing to really write home about but nothing really wrong either. It's bar food, you get what you expect when you go to an Irish pub. Taco Tuesday was well worth it, I'm a pescatarian so I had the fish taco and then tried their awesome potato taco and enjoyed the potato taco the most actually! I wouldn't pay what they normally charge for these tacos, they're pretty basic and the tortillas are not grilled nearly enough, but Taco Tuesday made three tacos only $10.50 and I could mix and match between all the different types so that was totally worth it! My wife tried the honey mustard chicken salad and unfortunately it did not live up to what she had hoped for. It was a really basic salad the veggies were fresh which was fortunate but it was basic, nothing was really seasoned, the honey mustard dressing didn't taste like mustard at all and the chicken was basic breaded chicken that tasted like it was from Dairy Queen. It was fresh, but still tasted like it was from Dairy Queen. All In all, the drinks and the bartender will definitely keep us coming back. Next time it'll just be for some drinks and some fries probably, but I definitely can't wait to try the steamer clams with jalapenos.

Both really good and made in their stone oven. We also got the calmari for appetizers. Calamari cooked perfectly, not rubbery. Light batter, crispy, and seasoned really well that gave it great flavor. Others in the group ordered a clam chowder bread bowl, chicken Parmesan, fish & chips and shrimp & chips. The overall consensus was good. Casual atmosphere and perfect location. It's at the boardwalk near an arcade. During the day, there's also ice cream and coffee nearby. Couldn't get any pictures.

We came down to Brookings to take care of some business and decided to stop in for lunch and a drink afterwards. We weren't especially hungry so we ordered our usual favorites (clam chowder for me and steamer clams for the fellow) that combo usually helps us decide whether or not we want to return, without breaking the bank on a new spot. Our server was delightful, she was kind and attentive without being overbearing. Our order took a little longer than expected for what we ordered but we didn't mind, we had some nice blackberry cider they had on tap to tide us over. I was a little disappointed when our meals came out and I didn't get a slice of bread with my bowl of clam chowder like the fellow did with his steamers, but we were able to buy a half batard for $5 and that was perfect for us to split. It came out warm with a side of butter and complimented the chowder much nicer than the oyster crackers they originally brought out would have. In fact I recommend getting the bread if you order the chowder, it almost stole the show. The chowder was delicious, could've been warmer but still very tasty, the potatoes were cut super thin, and the clams were plump and tender and tasted fresh, they did add bacon but not in overwhelming amounts, and I thought it was spiced perfectly. I only added a few shakes of red pepper flakes to finish it. The fellow thought his steamer clams/mussels were marvelous, with a very flavorful broth, and he loved the fact that he was allowed to mix them. They made a good first impression on us, we will definitely be returning for dinner and ordering a couple of pizzas and perhaps a salad as well. Who knows, they may prove to be one of our new favorite spots.

They make their own vodka and it's quite nice. Do yourself a favor and try any of the Superfly specials with it, they'll surprise you. They do have a food menu, but it's a martini bar first and restaurant second. The food was pretty decent, but the knife work, plating and ratios showed the experience behind the stove. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told I could order fish tacos even though it wasn't on the menu. I love a good grilled fish taco so I went for it. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned well, the green and orange sauces were good if a little too mild, and the tortillas were the right style but not grilled quite enough. Also, there was very little cilantro or onion and almost no cabbage so they weren't as filling as I would have liked. My wife had the Katsu Chicken Salad. It arrived plated like it was deconstructed: the katsu on a bed of lettuce greens with very thick slices of vegetables around around the plate and the dressing on the side. It was odd, clunky and the katsu was under seasoned. The peanut dressing was divine though, my wife said she could have drank that like milk. There are some other dishes I'd like to try and their drinks were fantastic so we'll definitely try them again.

We had placed our orders, the other tables were now full, but nobody had food, except that one party that arrived before us. We assume there was some problem in the kitchen but she never came back to explain or apologize for the very long wait. Not to us, or anyone.
