The food was good across the board--our burgers were juicy and flavorful, the nachos were piled high with toppings and easily shareable, and the crispy tater tots and sweet potato fries were the perfect sides. We also sampled one of their lighter beers, which was crisp, refreshing, and paired well with lunch. She ordered a turkey bacon melt sandwich with fries and I ordered a mini chicken fried steak with a salad. We also got the cheese curds appetizer. Service from the hostess was very good and our server Jazmin V. was top notch. The cheese curds were more breading than cheese and despite the great service, when I was eating my salad, I found a large piece of cardboard with a foil backing on it mixed with the greens. Of course I didn't find it until after I chewed on it a few times. Also, some of the greens were discolored. My chicken fried chicken was quite good, very moist and tender. HOWEVER, I ordered chicken fried steak! My wife said her sandwich was just OK, processed turkey. Jazmin did offer to comp my meal to make it right. There's definitely a lack of caring on someone's part. We may give it another try for breakfast but will most likely be a bit cynical. If it weren't for the great service, we definitely would not go back.
