    Thai Chicken Salad
    Thor M.

Lucky for us one of the few restaurants open on Mondays in Crescent City was SeaQuake Brewery. What a fantastic find. We got in just before the lunch rush. They have outdoor seating and regular tables as well as high top tables inside. We chose a high top table that was comfortable and afforded us a view of the bay. Our server came quickly and was professional, friendly, and made us feel welcomed. They have a great beer selection and a decent amount of specialty drinks. My wife had a peach lemon drop martini and I chose the Pebble Beach light ale. Both drinks were great. For lunch, we ordered a Thai Chicken Salad and the Carne (meat) pizza. Again, they knocked it out of the park. I am usually not a fan of thin crust pizzas, but I really enjoyed this one. All the flavors worked great together. Overall, it was a very good meal.

Solid Crescent City dining experience! It was crowded on a Monday when we went. Summer is their busy season. The building is huge, next to a skate park and the ocean. The rest of the town looks kind of drab. The beer was okay. We really didn't like some of the flavors from the flight. I'm sure others enjoy it but we weren't fans. The portions were generally large! The calamari was yummy, the burger was solid, the bowl was great and was a nice leftover.

Great spot for some good food! Open air lively location that seems popular. Here while on vacation. Enjoyed their seafood and drinks!

This was hands down some of the best food we had on the west coast! Traveled here to hike and this was one of the only spots in town. This place had a great vibe and was packed every time we went, but never had an outrageous wait. The calamari strips are a MUST. The breading had great flavor and every-time we had them (we went several times) the calamari was cooked perfectly! They had a fish special the night I went that I think was snapper over jasmine rice with blistered tomatoes. Hands down one of the most delicately delicious, fresh meals I had during my stay. Their wings were also delicious. Crispy, but also so juicy. Fish and chips seems to be the go to here, which was VERY good but I will say, it's the same breading as the calamari so I'd order one or the other next time because it was similar in taste. But again, delicious, cooked perfect, and fresh! My girlfriend got the fish tacos which she loved! I really wish I got merch but they were out of our sizes! They sell so much of their beer there as well as clothes/hats/keychains etc. to go! Almost forgot, they make homemade root beer which is SO good. They serve it without ice and it is so smooth and delicious. Probably the best root beer I've had. Actually pretty devastated I live in PA and have nothing close to home that can even hold a candle to this place.

The wait told us this was the place to be! Cute local spot in walking to the pier. They have indoor and outdoor seating areas. Inside has a bar with 2 TV's and an upstairs area. Our waitress was very nice! She was patient with us reviewing all the different types of pizzas available. Decided to go with the Seaquake wings. They were big, crispy, and tossed in buffalo sauce just right. Other app was claim chowder which I would pass on next time. The Seaquake Fish special was a home run! Locally caught Pacific rockfish served with jasmine rice and balsamic drizzle was delicious and beautifully plated. Would eat here again if I came back to the area

    Dill pickle pizza!
    Matt C.

Just get the Dill Pickle Pizza, don't try anything else. Oh and the cheese curds, with ranch, and of course, beer. Copious amounts of beer. Service was great, awesome bartenders and servers. Just go, and you'll have a great experience!

    Fish Feature: Battery Point Snapper

Seaquake Brewery has some of the best food in this part of the state! The guava and mango mock-a-rita was the best!! The fish tacos were delicious, the fish of the day (Battery Point Snapper) was tender and juicy, although a bit bland, with the most sweet cherry tomatoes ever, and the mac n'cheese was pretty good too. This place was busy on a Thursday night at 6 pm. We checked in and were seated after ~15 minutes. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and comfortable with a cool loft area for more seating. Just managed to snag a spot in the parking lot, but plenty of free street parking around too.

    Pizza was amazing!

My favorite brewery of my entire Oregon/California trip. The beer was exceptional and hit the spot after a long day in Redwood National Park. Not only was the beer amazing , the food was sensational. Had the short rib tacos, shrimp Caesar salad and the pizza. Each dish was incredible. The service here was so understanding. They had no problem staying open for us (and others) to finish our food and beer even though it was past closing. I can't wait to come back.

This was a pleasant surprise in a very good way. "Brewing companies" tourist locations can be a mixed bag sometimes. There could be ample food choices, but the execution may not be great. For SeaQuake on this day, they were excellent. The waiting list system is a well oiled machine. They are extremely popular during high season as one of the few main large brewery pub cuisine restaurants. But in the end the longer wait was worth it. The burger was juicy, the chowder on point, the tacos and fish were ample and moist. The beers were crisp. Special thanks to Emily... in all my travels all over the globe there are few that left an impression of impeccable service and friendliness. I hope you get served by her... she even has a list places to consider visiting while in Crescent City.

Nice place, great ambiance, friendly staff, cold beer, tasty cheese curds. Skip the clam chowder, it was flavorless.

    Birria Ramen
    Mau M.

Expect a bit of a wait during the weekend but there are nice sitting areas outside with some heaters while waiting. My husband and I shared the birria ramen and calamari strips. The ramen I think was okay, I preferred the calamari. Our drinks are exceptional though. This place seems to be popular among families and hikers alike. Nice ambiance. Good stop if visiting Redwood National Park.

Came if not a late lunch and I must say it was a good little find. We got on the waitlist by scanning the QR code and didn't wait long at all. They did ask if we wanted to sit outside but we preferred inside since it was a little cold and breezy. They sat us inside and it was still quick to be seated. They even have upstairs seating. It was lively but relaxing. I do a cup of the soup of the day which was creamy chicken parm. It was quite good and yummy. I got the Cali burger which was good and delicious and filling. We also got the Paniolo pizza which was a bbq pulled pork with pineapples and La Carne pizza which was all meet. They were both a really good size. Enough for 2 people to share if they wanted. The pizza dough is hand made and it was crispy but soft and flavorful. There was an abundance of toppings on both pizzas. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely go back.

I loved my burger! Got sunburnt waiting for the food because it was busy and we were a little ignored by the wait staff for most of the time we were there. Husband got the soup and left much to be desired. Salad was normal. Would go again just for the burger even though it was a tad small if you're a guy, perfect for me though.

I'm glad you enjoyed our decor and presentation. I apologize for the experience with the hot chocolate and avocado toast. I refunded the toast. Your comments are invaluable for our improvement. We appreciate your input and hope to serve you better in the future. I wasn't expecting that at all! So I'm very impressed that they received my constructive criticism in a positive way, and then to refund me for part of my order was very generous. I stated before I would like to give them another chance and now for sure I will! This was my first time here at SeaFront bakery. I heard this place has been here for about 2 years. I was really hoping this place would be good. It's a nice looking establishment especially inside. I'll start with what I liked: It's a good looking place with plenty of seating, very nice setting and has a gift area available, with so many delightful goodies, mugs, stickers clothing etc. it's spacious inside with lots of seating and a very cute area to sit by a wood stove. I really liked the decor. But I was disappointed with the food the hidden fees and the service. I ordered from my table on the QR code I ordered the avocado toast and a small hot chocolate (if you want whipped cream it's $.50 extra) I would have preferred to have gone up and ordered but it was pretty busy so I decided to try the QR code. There is no option to not tip, but there are 3 options to tip. Here's the thing, the servers don't come to the table to take your order and they don't bring you your food, you either order at the counter or on the QR code, and you pick up your order when they call your name. The area I was seated at, you couldn't hear them call the names for the orders, so I had to go and stand by the counter, so that I didn't miss my order. I guess I should have just ordered at the counter, I'm not exactly sure what the QR code did to save any time or allow me to remain at the table. I received my hot chocolate first, I was looking forward to trying it. I took a couple sips and could hardly taste the chocolate. I took it back up to the counter and waited politely until I could get the girls attention and asked if she could please add more chocolate. I explained that I could barely taste the chocolate, in my hot chocolate. The girl that I asked said, "yeah I guess so"? she wasn't too accommodating. After dealing with the hot chocolate issue it still didn't taste any better, I used to be a barista I know good hot chocolate and this hot chocolate was not good. My name was called a second time, I got my avocado toast. It was covered in cooked cherry tomatoes with balsamic vinegar, avocado, 1 egg over medium. The presentation was beautiful, but I ordered avocado "toast" the bread was not toasted or barely was and with all of the mushy textures and the bread not toasted it was a mushy mess! I just didn't care for it, too many mushy textures and no toast to break up the moisture. The textures are what got me. Darn it! I was disappointed with the food and hot chocolate (that cost extra for whipped cream) Hot chocolate and whipped cream go together in my opinion, and shouldn't be charged for it! And I don't appreciate being forced to tip! Please don't get me wrong, I've worked in the food industry most of my life, so I understand about tipping! Not sure if I will be going back there, however, If I do, I will not order from the QR code, I will not order the avocado toast, and I will definitely not the hot chocolate. Here is the breakdown of my cost: Avocado toast (there was no toast, bread yeah, ok) with garlic aïoli, blistered cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, fresh basil, Sunnyside egg (it was not Sunny-side, it was over medium) $12 1-12oz hot chocolate (no whip that cost extra) $5 Tip $2.07 CA Tax $1.42 TOTAL: $20.74
