What a great stop!!! Local hangout with great beers and and full basket tasty food. This is a bar order and window pick up kind of place. The bartenders are quick and knowledgeable about their beers and food offerings. I blew it and not taking pictures of the food! My bad!!! I had the buffalo chicken sandwich w/ fries and my wife had the daily special which was a smoked pulled pork with either traditional bbq sauce or the Carolina. Super full baskets of delicious sandwiches and fresh hand cut fries. It was a Saturday and the place was busy but we were able to grab a table. They have an outdoor area and dog friendly. They have water bowls for the pups. Vegan offerings on the menu and a water station for tasty mountain water. If you're traveling between Eureka and Redding CA plan on stopping here! read more

As a bar GM, we get people in all the time trying to get us to carry their beer. When Jacob from TCBC walked in, it was like we had been buddies for years. He didn't do the normal car salesman mantra. Which is why I brought TCBC on at our bar. We've done tap takeovers with them, stay in constant communication, and they really do have amazing beer! Can't thank them enough for all they do for us and what they have done to our sales since carrying their beers. If you've never had the Hef or Irish Maiden...I highly recommend! We visit Trinity Center during the summer and have wanted to try this place out. When you walk in there is a really cool first seating area. The design is artistic. Ordering is walk up and the young lady taking our order was very friendly and greeted us with a smile. We ordered food and drinks. The second dining area was large and we had no idea there was a huge back area outside with plenty of seating. Our 8 year old could stretch her legs a bit without bothering anyone. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this brewing company. It's a great spot for family or large groups of friends. I tried to take good pics of the space. Enjoy!!! read more

What a gift to Weaverville and the Trinity Alps. We've stopped in on our way too and from rafting the Trinity River and mountain biking right behind the brewery at the world-class trails just to the East of Weaverville. I am ok with their beer. I tend to lean more toward piney/hoppy IPA's, and to date I haven't found one there. But I've enjoyed what I've had and everyone else in our group raved about their beers. My preferences aren't their fault. Their food is fun and eclectic, mixing flavors in a manner which supports their beers. Inside is nice, but the back beer garden is really special. While stopping over for a beer and a snack after recreating in Trinity County is a plan, staying for a couple or a few is a better plan. If this sounds like a plug, it isn't. I don't know anyone in ownership or a single employee there. It's just a great place in a great location. read more

Came in hot, hungry and tired after kind of long haul on Hwy 3 from Yreka. Coming in here cured me of the first two issues. I started with a Weaver Lite, which was an excellent thirst-quencher on a hot, summer day. My second (and final, because I had a lot of miles left to drive) ale was the Hayfork Hefeweizen. This was not going to be my choice, but a local was so happy with his, that I tried a sample and was convinced. BTW, all the beers on tap are brewed in house. The hef was not too hoppy or too "wheaty"and was very smooth and balanced -- it was a great second beer. I was hungry, so I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with the side salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The cook put a lot of pickled red onions on it, which I love, and the salad was great. All in all, I am very happy I came in today, and intend to come back if I am in the area again when they are open. Good beer, good food, good service - - what more could anyone ask for? read more

Excellent stop for beer and food in a warm, family friendly atmosphere. Even though the menu was small, there were still three vegetarian options for adults and one for kids on the menu. The food was great, kids were happy and could run around the outdoor patio, and we all enjoyed the tasty fries. The vibe is laid back (it wasn't clear at first that we order our food and pick it up indoors--no table service). It looks like there is often live music. There is a corn hole court. And we saw deer in the hill behind. I recommend this brewery if you are driving through or stopping for a while. read more

TBC is a Unicorn. Was it needed in this absolutely rural community? Yes. Is there a level of local competition that made them up their game to become a first-class establishment worthy of anyone's patronage? Not at all. Did they show up, create a dynamite establishment and raise the local bar profoundly, anyway? Yes indeed, in a great big way! As a fledgeling business, did they need to get involved in every nook and cranny of this community... Relentlessly volunteer, donate, and collaborate? Not one bit. Did they do it anyway? Yep. And with reckless abandon! So, outside of being a dynamic, amazing business... What about the food and drink? Well, I am a tough customer. I'm a extra-rare beer drinker, and always have dietary and lifestyle restrictions that take most things off of most menus. This brewery boasts a simple menu that is curated to tick boxes for nearly any palate. It has many staple pub offerings, but also boasts a dynamic vegan/vegetarian menu. Nearly every time I have visited, the accommodating staff have clued me in to daily off-menu specials. I'm a finicky water... And unafraid of constructive criticism (giving or receiving). I have NEVER had a bad meal here. I've never felt obligated to return an item or ask for a repair. This is exceedingly rare, even in more competitive markets, like the Bay. Beer: I don't drink often, and when I do, it has to be crafty, unique, and memorable. The beer menu at this establishment always has something different enough to pique my curiosity. Tonight, I'm sampling a sour called "Strawberries on Acid", and it is amazing. Sour, flavorful, light bodied, and not so hop forward that it ruins my chicken wings. We passed by TCBC on our way up to Oregon and I had made a mental note about checking them out on the way back and I am glad we did! We were pretty hungry and i was in the mood for a beer before continuing our trek down to Sacramento and over to Reno. We ordered beer and food and headed outside to enjoy the waning days of Summer weather. Their Trinity Haze was fantastic and it was hard to just drink one! I've been convinced to go with 4 stars over 3 because ratings should be relative to the geographic location of the establishment. For Trinity County we are definitely talking 4 stars. If you were in the Bay Area it would be 3. First: Beer. Decent. This is where the 3 stars in the Bay Area really comes in. It was very drinkable, but didn't quite have the polish of the craft beer you get elsewhere or the complexity of flavors. My favorite was their session ale - which I did think was quite nice. But not enough that I wanted to fill my growler to take with me. Also to note: they make cider. Second: Food. All good here. What's not to love with classic burgers and appetizers? Good sized portions, everything was pretty tasty. Fun additions to the burgers. They also have Beyond Burgers and Beyond Bratwurst so it's a big win for Vegetarians. Third: Space. Also yay. Plenty of it. Lots of outside with plenty of shading. Fourth: Problems. Actual problems. Not all of their staff were wearing masks. Especially their kitchen staff. read more
