First time here on 2-21-26. Staff were friendly, interior was loud. We ordered a large pepperoni & olive pizza, two small salads, and fountain drinks. Salad bar was fresh, fountain sodas were watery. Overall, the pizza was OK. Not the best, not the worst. I just don't understand why it's cut into tiny pieces. Because of the grease from the cheese and pepperoni, it was very messy to eat the small pieces since there wasn't a crust to hold a slice from when cut like it should be. I guess they are aspiring to be like Dominoes? Yuck. This would not be a destination but if we were craving pizza, we'd give them a second chance. read more

We got a medium Deli Delight and a medium Mediterranean delivered. The mediums were good-sized and they each had a ton of toppings. The cut on the pizzas was interesting, but it allowed me to say that I ate six pieces in one sitting. Couldn't have done that with a regular pizza cutting. The total came up 80+ dollars and there was also a "Service fee" of 8.00. It's no wonder Dominoes is ripping the market in Brookings! We came to this place after spending the day at the beach with family. We all ordered pizzas and they came out promptly. The toppings tasted fresh, and the crust was thin and crunchy, which I liked. I have been coming to Wild River since I was a child. My uncle used to always take us there for family night. I got to take my kids for a visit in July and it was wonderful. The potatoes and ranch are so good. its amazing they use Taylor's meats. You can't get this anywhere else in the world. You must try! And don't forget to take some ranch home. We had an amazing experience at this location. I called to place the order over the phone as a to go order & the women who took my order was absolutely darling. She was so sweet & accurately took my order. I got 3lbs of Buffalo wings, cheese bread & a Hawaiian pie. The food was absolutely delicious also. We devoured it! The location was pretty easy to get to & once you walk inside they have this pastry/sweet snack stand which is where they got my eyes drooling over they're cookie parfait! They have a huge seating area, looks great for large parties & events. The vibes inside reminded of me a old school pizza shop. Upon recommendation from a local friend, we went to Wild River Pizza about 8:30pm tonight. An hour later, we still did not have our pizzas (two simple mini pizzas). Others in our party that paid separately got their pizzas 20-25 minutes after ordering. After about 40 minutes of waiting, I asked the girl at the counter. She looked around the back and could not find our ticket. Not sure how they lost the ticket. She confirmed the order and said it would be made next. About 15 minutes later, the pizzas finally came out of the oven. And they were wrong. Very disappointed and wasn't going to wait another 15-20 minutes. I asked for a refund and the guy asked for my receipt number, punched a few things into the register and then said I was refunded. Problem was I paid cash. He then refunded me the money. Epic fail on all parts. In addition to the poor customer service, the place looked dated and off-putting. We'll never go back. read more

My daughter likes to check out pizza parlors wherever we go so we decided to give wild river a go. The staff was incredibly friendly, explained their menu and recommendations. I thought the pizza was underwhelming, the 7 sausage pizza didn't have much flavor. My daughter enjoyed the pizza and ranch, and my husband really liked the potatoes! Fun and busy spot for a Sunday evening. Lots of large parties here, harder to find smaller tables for 2-3 people. I ordered the GF pizza and it was delicious. I also didn't have a reaction so I appreciate the precautions they may have took for celiac's. Husband had pepperoni and mushroom awhile my mother in law had the club sandwich. Huge portion sizes and great food. Arcade for children too! Was super excited to try this place when we were in town for the night. We were quoted an hour on a Tuesday and were bummed but decided to commit anyways because it sounded so good. We ended up waiting almost 2 hours, and when my husband kept trying to get someone's attention to get our pizza (the online tracker said it was ready) he was inhabited completely. He saw the food sitting on the oven for over 10 mins before he could get someone to help him. The pizza was okay. Definitely not worth $50 for one BLT pizza and a pound of wings. Pizza was greasy and the lettuce was wilted and browning already. Also with the chaotic cut none of the cuts matched and the inside squares were so greasy they fell apart when you tried to hold them because they didn't have the outside crust to hold them together. It was clean the atmosphere was awesome and the employees were very friendly. And the grandkids enjoyed the games. The best pizza I've had in a long time! We eloped in Brookings and decided we wanted to go to pizza, I know crazy after a wedding but it's what we wanted. We shouldn't have, they were very rude and snappy, like we're literally in wedding attire and the girl taking our order couldn't throw a simple smile at us. Oh well but it got worse when we were there sitting and eating, you just hear the kitchen staff start talking about "I've seen so many failed marriages" that's absolutely crazy of you guys..
