I requested a deluxe pedi Ute and a nail dip with gel polish and a design. What I received ended in Gel polish stick to my shoes that was incorrectly applied and smeared on my toes and rough soles. Also two rough textured fingernails where one cracked and popped off in less than 24 hours. The technician took over two hours to complete the email job after removing the gel polish 3 times due to mishaps in her process. I asked Lisa when I arrived at 10 and was informed she will be here in 10 minutes. An hour later into the pedicure O asked again , she again said 10 mins. 10 mins later two techs arrived and advised Lisa is at the doctor. There was acrylic on one of my toes from the previous week where I asked the tech to provide an overlay on a split nail. I asked her thin it out several times and she either didn't understand or just what she created was acceptable.. this week I asked the tech four times to remove it all together and she seemed displeased at my request and finally removed it force instead of soaking it off. It is a good idea to have technical talent to perform the required skills of the trade in your absence. I would hope to have the great spa I experienced on my first visit with Lisa but this not the case. I was burned by the nail drill and nautical nails damaged by improper drilling as well as left with a gel light under my feet 5 mins after the 50 second dry time. I'm hoping Lisa can redo my nails and correct the issues. Otherwise I am left with no stars for this business rating. read more

I stopped in here not knowing anything about it, but was incredibly pleased with every aspect of my manicure. Tina was professional, easy to talk to, thorough and have me one of the best manicures I've had in recent years! Great hand and shoulder massage, perfect gel application, hot paraffin treatment and clean facilities. I went in for a basic pedicure a good amount of time before closing. I would have understood if they said no because of the time but they let me and two other girls in. I then asked when starting that she doesn't file the nails with the drill because it makes them thin. She did it anyway. After explaining I had ingrown nails, she then took them out in a pretty different way I've seen pulling and spinning it off leaving chunks in. The nails were also terribly shaped. I didn't rate one star because I received wine in a solo cup so I guess that's a plus. I then was told to dry my nail polish under a uv light with fans (I didn't get gel) the owner sprayed something on a few nails on one foot, the can tan out and she sprayed literal air at them and said "they can dry outside" I arrived home with my little salon sandals and my toe nail polish literally fell off. So y'all look..I went in and wanted French tip. I like clear French tip not pink underneath. I simply told the young lady because she even started working in my nails. Boom got my toes done..beautiful. So we get close to the end on my nails and I told her ma'am I don't like pink underneath..she said well next time we will do it the way you like lol wait wait wait..I said ma'am I don't like them can you please just take them off. I told you before you started that I didn't want the pink. They was mad because they thought I was about to pay $50 for nails I didn't like. She aggressively took them off and left them like this. I literally have FUNGUS on my nail from this place! I paid $110 for the set and I was okay with them initially even though it was a far cry from what I asked for. But upon removal I noticed discoloration on 3 of my fingers and I thought maybe it was bruising bc I am a dancer, but then it still hasn't gone away and after going to another nail salon their eyes almost popped out of their heads looking at my hands they said immediately I should go to a doctor because it's fungus and they went to deep when filing. I went in around 8pm as they close at 10pm for a manicure and Dip. I showed a picture of what I wanted and got the complete opposite. I wanted to get acrylic nails but the lady (don't know her name but I do remember the Rolex on her wrist) convinced me to keep my real nails since they were already long. Ugh... why did I let her convince me?!? I then realized that she just wanted to finish with me. She was rushing with my nails and my nails came out bulky and short. Totally unprofessional! Came in 45 min after they open on a Friday just for them to only have 2 nail techs there and she rudely looked me up and down and said come back ! Tracy is so precise with her nail filing (no crooked nails. She replaced my shellac with NextGen. It was so thing and pretty. I'm so happy. Hong(sp) gave an amazing foot massage. I stopeed in today for the first time and it was great! I came in for a gel manicure, but decided last minute to also get a pedicure since they had time (I did not call ahead). TK Nails took their time and made sure I was happy with their work at each step of the way - however, at the same time, they didn't dawdle. They were quick and efficient without making me feel rushed. The best part was the massage! I could not believe how well and for how long my arms/hands and legs/feet were rubbed for. Definitely a huge plus! They had a great color selection for both gel and normal polish. It is a smaller location, so I think that the next time I come in (because I will me back) I will call ahead and make sure they have an availability. Terrible service! I've been here a few times but after tonight I won't return. Arrived at 7:15 they close at 8. She started to remove my polish but then a family of 4 walked in for mani/pedis to work them all in being greedy for the money they stop my nails to begin working the family and has me WAITING for 20mins while feeding me lies a it coming now. My 42$ (Heavenly Scent) pedicure was rushed, messy, and brutal. I happen to have ingrown toenails on my big toes and the older man who did my pedicure didn't bother to inspect my nails before the procedure. I didn't bother trying to explain this to him first, because there was an obvious language barrier from the beginning. So when he went to shorten my toenails I was in alot of pain. His female coworker had to come in and cut my nails for him. His massage technique was very hard, and painful. I looked over at his coworkers a few times and expressed my concerns and they said something to him in their language, but it was still repeatedly done way too strongly. I wanted a unique nail paint design, and opted to get them done one simple color, so the experience would be over! I will not be returning. read more

This place is amazing. They we're efficient, effective and affordable. I hadn't had my nails done in almost a year. They got of all of the gunk out, they gave me water during the service and a back massage during the service. A few special things I appreciated: The gel polish was a few shades different than what it appeared and they offered to start over several times and they had new, sterlized tools for each person instead of that communal basket of fungus. This is a great nail spa. I've gone about 4 or 5 times now, and it's such great service. Not to mention the best pedicure I've ever had! They are so friendly and quick to serve you. It's reasonably priced, and I'm so lucky it's only minutes from my apartment. If you mess up your nails (which I've done several times) after leaving the spa they're happy to fix it for you at no charge even two days later! This place is small and simple enough. I love it because it's never crowded. I always can just walk right in and get a fill or a pedicure. Only thing I kinda have a problem with is the fact that they don't do the pretty nail designs. Typically I go to the hood for those, however I would love it if they had a designs selection. Nothing tacky or too much but at least SOMETHING. The nail polish selection is fair and they use great polish brands (OPI, Essie, Revlon). The ladies were so sweet and did an amazing job with my color and cleaned up my dads nails amazingly. Both of us also got massages during the process and mine was only $30 and my fathers was $15! I usually love this place. The owners/manager (a couple) give the best pedicures. This last time, however, was a different story. I came in to splurge on a mani/pedi, a late Christmas gift from my husband. Two new girls helped me. It took them an hour and a half!! The owners just sat there and watched a violent crime show. To top it all off, the girl doing my mani cut my nails so short they throbbed all night and kept me up. What turned into an afternoon free of my baby turned into a frustrating afternoon and then a sleepless night. I won't be back. This place is only worth it if you get the owners, but I'm not willing to take that gamble again. read more

I went to TK Nails today for my first manicure ever. I didn't plan on going there and up until today I had never heard of them. Initially I wanted a spa pedicure but I didn't do it because I wasn't sure if I would get a good leg/foot massage from them so I opted for a manicure to test it out. Ken did my nails and he was so nice, he really knew what he was doing. By the look of his manicurist license pic, he's been doing nails for quite some time. My mani cost me $25 + $5 tip I left. After my nails were done I waited a little to let them dry, then I had to use the restroom which ended up messing up 2 of my nails. I went right back to Ken and told him what happened and he just smiled and said "It's ok, I'll fix it". My sis in law had mani and eyebrows done (by a lady who I believe was Ken's wife) for $45 and was also very pleased with the service. While I was sitting there I saw 2 other girls getting a Spa Pedi and I wished I had gotten one too, the ladies working really took their time massaging the girls that it was so tempting to go ahead and get one myself but we didn't have time.
