I am updating my review: My best friend and I visited this salon while in downtown Dallas, and overall, it was a decent experience--but there were a few things that left us disappointed. The staff was very welcoming, and we appreciated that they told us the pricing upfront--no surprises there. The drinks were a nice touch, and the salon had a friendly and clean atmosphere. My nail tech was very kind and clearly a perfectionist. She did get a little frustrated when I moved my hand, but I could tell it came from wanting everything to be just right, which I appreciated. At one point, I told her I felt a burning sensation on one of my nails, and she immediately applied a calming spray, which helped. Unfortunately, my best friend didn't receive the same level of care. During her appointment, she mentioned that her nails felt hot while the acrylic was being applied. Her tech said that happens sometimes, which we understand, as it's not unusual. But several hours later, my friend's nails are still hurting her, and she was not offered anything to soothe the discomfort, unlike I was. It feels like her concerns weren't really addressed in the moment. Additionally, she asked for a tapered square shape, but the tech told her she should ask for coffin nails next time. We know what a tapered square looks like, so that exchange felt unnecessarily dismissive. Another reason for the rating drop is that we were charged for "length"--but we both got fairly short nails. We even posted photos because it's unclear where that extra charge came from. I'm not expecting a refund, and I understand that a salon in downtown Dallas will likely cost more, but with higher pricing should come a more consistent quality of service. While parts of the experience were positive, the discomfort my friend is still dealing with, along with the shape miscommunication and unclear pricing, made this visit fall short of expectations. read more

Ever since I moved to New York, the one thing that I miss incredibly are the nail salons in Texas. And this has to be one of my favorite places of all time. Also tip, there's an extra parking lot just behind the salon which makes it very convenient. I came in for a pedicure with Jessica and was immediately seated. I will say they can get busy so if you make an appointment, it's better. My entire treatment was incredible. I feel like they take their time and genuinely pamper you. It is on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. I will always come back here when I'm in town. read more

I used to love this nail salon until they up charge for every aspect of your service. I paid $130 two weeks ago for a full set of acrylic and today they charged me $100 for a FILL! Their website lists a fill with gel at $55. When I asked he said it is extra to shape the nails (that are already shaped from before), file, and $25 for chrome. there are plenty of other high quality salons in the area that do not mislead and overcharge. They never disappoint. I've been coming here 2 years now and I've never had a bad experience. I cheated and went somewhere else once and I regretted it immediately. I had a great nail tech, Justin, who I asked for at my next visit. Even though he wasn't there when I requested him the first time, they made sure to remember and they called him to the front to do my nails today. All of this was a pleasant surprise, not something I expected but they still remembered. Justin gets my base color right on my manicure every time. Everyone here is very friendly, the salon is always clean and I do prefer their pricing compared to other nail salons in the uptown area. The included drink service is a great perk as well. I ask for weird drinks, sometimes I don't even know what color I want for my nails, I can be annoying. They always take good care of me, they pick colors for me when I'm feeling stuck and they keep the salon very tidy. I'm weird about cosmetic hygiene and I've always felt comfortable here. I treated my mom to a Silky pedicure with gel and a gel manicure for her birthday! I also got treatment with a mani-pedi. It was incredible!!!! Linda is the nail tech I usually see, and she is incredibly kind, articulate, and a perfectionist. I'm always satisfied with her work. I get regular manicures and do not opt for dips or fake nails. They offer a complimentary drink upon arrival, which is a nice touch. On Wednesdays, they provide a 20% discount during their "Happy Hour," which runs from Monday to Wednesday, 10am to 3pm. I've also witnessed them accommodate large parties who come in together to get serviced. The salon is conveniently located off of Oaklawn. Highly recommend! read more

I'm sad I didn't take a picture of my summer nails and fall nails but let me tell you, he knocks it out of the park every time! Tyler is very kind, professional, and uses shared decision making with an artistic twist to make your dream nails come true! His pricing for design is very affordable and he is quick and efficient. The interior design of the actual nail salon feels luxurious and comfortable at the same time. They offer non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. They have a wide selection of nail polish and since they're a new salon, the polish is newer (which means more vibrant/stays on better/don't need as many coats); I say that because old nail polish sucks at some of the nail salons that have been around. If you want your toes done, book an appointment with Tina! Tina is gentle with your feet but gives a great massage. She always leaves me refreshed and my feet rejuvenated. read more

I ask how much they would charge me for the photo I showed the lady she says $150 I'm like total for mani n pedi she like no for hands only. I'm like wait what that's outrageous it's not like I have designs and rhinestones. So then I just said ok so how much for ombré and 1 finger design she says $100 I'm like this is just ridiculous. Went in for a builder gel re fill ( never been here before ) It says on their website it's 45$ for a refill of this... which I thought was a little expensive ... I go in wanting almond shape and on the shorter side due to my job. The lady said almond is for old ladies and coffin is better. I laugh it off and was fine with it because I like coffin too. I have found my perfect nail salon! Went for the second time today, and Linda was just as awesome as the first time. So awesome that I really don't want to tell you all about it because then you'll go and they'll be all booked up. :) The salon is big and has a bar. Yes, a bar. Like the kind where you tell them what you want and they make it. Really nice atmosphere and exactly what I've been looking for. Service is great. My nail tech, Linda, is great. The owner is great. Everyone is SO friendly. I get a gel pedicure with design and have loved it both times. The problems with other salons is consistency. It'll be good at first, then it's not. I don't think that will happen here. This one is definitely my favorite. The parking is also awesome! They have a parking lot in the back. Love, love, love it and will definitely be a regular. I sadly had to change my review. The price increase is so astronomical I can no longer afford services here. We were alerted about a price increase, but with the additional "add-ons" my bill is approx avg 38% more for the same services I would get less than a year ago. I get acrylic overlay on my real nails which do grow long. Today for a nail fill, 2 simple designs and gel stress free pedicure (medium grade not fully luxe) I am spending $175 before tip. For equivalent services I used to spend between $110-$125. I asked why I was being charged for shaping when I didn't change my shape. The reception said nails need filling everytime. Well shouldn't that be included in the fill price?!! Also add on services such as "shaping" is not eligible durinf happy hour. I posted my nails below for transparency with receipt. I will have to find a new place . This place used to be so packed but judging by the empty seats, others have as well. So bittersweet. I know nails are a luxury but in this economy it feels good to pamper yourself every once in a while. I just can't do it regularly here with these prices. read more

Being new to Dallas I am testing out nail salons and 3311 Nail Bar is the first I tried. It was easy to call and get an appointment and I'm sure depending on the day and time you would be able to get a walk-in appointment. There is minimal parking in the front but a full parking lot in the back which is nice. The staff was very friendly and Mimi was did my nails was super sweet. I got a medium gel-x set with just a solid color and it was around $80 which it too bad. They also have a full bar which is a nice touch if you'd like to have a drink while being serviced. While I'm going to continue to try out places for nails, I would definitely recommend 3311 to others and will be back myself to try a pedicure. read more

3311 dilutes the nail polish so much that the consistency is way too watery and not right. Constantly people are coming in to have gel and polish fixed/redone for chips after just a day or two. Your gel and polish will not last longer than a week. The nail techs reuse single use gloves and I don't believe cleanliness is a priority. I have been cut and often feel they are careless when shaping,filing or cutting nails. There are much better nail salon options close by for the same price or less. read more
