Update: I will NEVER leave, as long as Yeely doesn't. So nice. She does the absolute best nails. Ivana isn't there for my toes anymore, so I'm still seeking my favorite. Nathan is quite good but he's off on my usual day. Neely is the absolute best tech who has ever done my nails. Period. Pros: Convenient location. Easy parking. Quiet pop music and TVs--I usually hate TVs but they use subtitles and are on Home & Cooking channels: No News or Football (or I'd probably not be return) Free wifi. Looks quite clean. Spacious--I hate places where you're squished next to others. Free drinks, though I haven't tried the wine. Prices quite reasonable considering the quality and ambience. People are great! Cons: Turnover, but I think it's pretty stable. Not sure if pedicures are consistent. Nathan is good, but since Ivana is gone, I'm still seeking out a favorite pedicurist. read more

I would give this nail salon five stars based on the quality job they did on my hands and feet. I recommend Tracey for a full set. Excellent job. Natural looking full acrylic set. Resort Nail Spa loses two stars for price gouging to a fault. It's a beautiful salon and I'm certain their rent is high. But it's not my personal responsibility to pay their rent all by myself. For example, their basic $30 pedicures do NOT include an actual pedicure! A pedicure means smooth feet and pretty nails. $30 is them soaking your feet as if they are actually going to do something to them. They don't remove dry or rough or cracked skin on your feet for $30. They only clip and paint your toe nails!!! You can do that yourself for FREE. To have a REAL "basic" pedicure, you have to pay an additional $8!!! Just be HONEST and say a basic pedicure is $38. Hands and feet are going to cost you approximately $100 plus tips for two people. I have been here a couple times before and they did an Okay job. I would give them two stars because they are clean and have great massage chairs but my last experience was not good. I treat myself to a pedicure to relax but ended up stressed out leaving this place. The technician I had did an awful job painting my toes. Not a professional job and looked like a 5 year old did them. She acted as if they looked perfect when she was done so I complained when I went to pay. They sat me back down and sent the same technician to "fix them". I expected her to remove the paint completely and redo but she just slathered another coat on a couple toes then slathered another clear coat on top leaving it ALL OVER my skin. I let the cashier know again that I was still not pleased and they offered for me to return later so they could have someone else redo them, but I was done wasting my time, money and energy there. Well I wish I could rate on my actual experience but when I walked in the door and stood at the service desk where a lady was standing, I wasn't acknowledged, so I waited a little longer at the desk after she walked away and made eye contact with a tech and they immediately turned away. So I turned around and walked out the door. I also failed to mention there were only 3 people in there getting serviced so they were not overwhelmed. quick work. lots of grinding nails down and intense cuticle cutting which isn't great for nails. they have you check boxes to communicate what you want but then charge for what they, but literally no other nail salon I've ever been to, consider add ons. for example, acrylic nails to them apparently means acrylic overlay over natural nails, and regardless, they charge extra to even shape the acrylic. it makes me wonder what not paying for that looks like? ya total mess. got the job done for way more than my normal salon. hopefully it lastay. read more

I've been coming here since they open. Always loyal to Yeely and Laura's services, they're the ultime best! This place is always clean and they greet you with a smile. They're never rushing you like some other places and that gives you time to relax and enjoy your massage. Sometimes I'm pretty eccentric with my nail design request but Laura is always patient and surpasses my expectations. My nails last over 3 weeks sometimes even a month. In the other hand or foot? I went in yesterday to have my gel manicure removed (from another place out of town), and get another manicure. From the second I sat down, I knew the girl that was helping me was new -- so I was either in for a meticulous manicure or something else. It was something else. The filing and polish looks great, but getting there was a feat... First, it was a pretty long process (and I'm off the charts with patience). Second, while she was struggling to get the gel from the previous manicure off, she gashed my finger with the scraping tool. Full on deep cut and bleeding on the side of my nail that wouldn't stop. She felt really bad an apologized profusely. I told her it's okay and that accidents happen. And, I actually felt bad for her because she felt so bad it made her nervous. It's what happened after that ensured I'll never return again. 1. The lady that was mentoring her came over and explained the tool was sharp and my manicurist was "too strong" with it. Thanks, I know. 2. The mentor lady came back a couple minutes later and offered me a drink. First, I turned that down twice when I sat down, and secondly, adding alcohol certainly won't slow down the bleeding. 3. When I went to pay, they did absolutely nothing to "make things right" -- I paid full price, and they never apologized again. If it were my business, the manicure would have been free and the customer would have gotten a couple more manicures free. Bad customer experiences happen, but there's ALWAYS an opportunity to make it right. So, sadly, I won't be returning. I was hoping to become a regular as I live in the area. read more

Im only giving four stars because I have found my new nail tech here, Ivanna is amazing!! With that being said, today was annoying. I was in desperate need of a mani but short on time so I had to see a different tech- Tammy. I figured It would be ok for today but that was MY MISTAKE. My nails had grown out beautifully with my dip and I asked Tammy to just file into rounded shape. Welp. She filed and filed and filed and now they hurt because they're so short!! She rushed the ENTIRE way through like she was ready to bust out that door. My dipping chipped 3 times in a row until finally one of the girls asked if the technicians were using a base coat and I said no. They actually listen to what you're asking for--and execute it perfectly. Cassidy is a sweetheart and does it all! She even introduced me to the nail dipping technique and I LOVE it. Lisa also did a great job on my pedicure and both are still perfect almost two weeks later! The salon itself is beautiful, clean and well organized. I got a dip/Nexgen mani and I also got a pedi. Peter did my pedi and he did and amazing job!!! The best pedi/massage I've had in a really long long time!!! Laura did my mani and she was fast and also did a good job. The manager was very nice (did not catch his name), but he and maybe another manager who was dressed in all black (female) seemed a little overbearing to the staff. We're fans of this place... And not just because of the free red or white wine. But because they're open after church on Sundays AND you get wine! The prices are a bit higher than those in Richardson/Garland, but they work for it. Husband and I both got basic mani/pedi combos and walked out paying $110-120 I believe. The manager is SO nice (comes up to ask if everything is good, or has them come back and fix an error or issue) and they worked diligently on my cuticles. I walked in today with the intention of getting a pedicure. As soon as I walked in, a man was standing at the front desk but was occupied so I gave him a second to acknowledge me. Literally 2 minutes passed and he still didn't say one word to me. I finally spoke, and he almost angrily asked how he could help me. I asked for a pedicure with gel and he mentioned that gel is $20 extra. TWENTY DOLLARS EXTRA on an already expensive pedicure. Place I usually go to downtown charges $5 extra for gel. Reasonable. Call me cheap, but $20 waaayyyy too much for just some gel. I was seated and waited almost 20 minutes before anyone even said anything to me or set up the foot bath. This is the worst experience I have ever had with service. They really need to work in that if they expect to have customers return. Update: Man put my sandals on before they completely dried and messed up the polish. I asked if he could fix it (seeing as it was his fault) and he said it would be extra to fix it. This place is very new. Fixtures are great, the place is spotless, sanitized and the people are friendly. I asked for a simple mani and pedi and I too believe the prices are inflated. I paid almost 55 dollars. They did do a great job, and I had forgot my wallet at home and they said that was fine to come back tomorrow to pay them and they didn't mind. I ended up calling my superman and he paid the tab. But I did think they were sweet enough to offer me to come back the next day. Complimentary beverages too. Found this place tucked away behind Starbucks near PetsMart. Enjoyed my experience and will be back. They use bags in the chair tubs and everything looks and seems clean. My nail techs were super sweet, they did a good job, and they didn't rush through the leg and foot massage! (Hate when that happens). The place is big- lots of chairs so it seems like they may be able to accommodate lots of people when busy. They've also got a good color selection for regular polish, gel, and dip. This used to be my favorite place too but it has really gone downhill. The last dipping manicure I got here there was no base coat, and only two times dipping (instead of 4!) and my color literally popped off within one week. I went back to them to show them and they said I must have had really oily nails for it to come off like that. What?
