There were already two people being service. Kim did my service today and she was great. We talked about what I liked and what I wanted and came up with this together. These people are artists and are not into taking advantage of the customer. There were moments that gave me a little anxiety, everyone's technique is different but when I saw the final outcome all that left my mind. I will be returning to Princess Nails. Literally the worst nail salon I've ever been to. To start the guy doing my nails was dripping in sweat. His hands were so sweaty they were slipping from mine it was disgusting. I kindly asked to change to another person because I wasn't comfortable and she kept cutting me. She then used my dead cuticle skin to hid the bleeding so I wouldn't see it. I prefer short trim on my toes and she wasn't sure my preference after I suggested cutting down after three attempts. Horrible service. For starts they don't have many colors to choose from, so I brought my own nail polish. I choose a light pink for my toes and asked the lady nicely if she can put a second coat. She started telling me no she can't do that and getting very ugly towards me. I don't see what's the problem with a second coat? I love this place! Went in on a SATURDAY morning and was out in an hour!!! I like my nails long and coffin. Living in the downtown area you are easily charged $65 + for this exact style! The staff is not friendly and the lady who did my nails did a poor job. This is a story all about how my nails got twist turned upside. So I'd like to take a moment, just sit right there and let me tell you about the worst nail salon in Dallas.... So, let me first start by saying if I could give this place 0 stars, I WOULD! My friend and I met here at 2:30 on Labor Day and by 4:00pm I was still getting my nails done and no one had serviced my friend. When she got up to leave, AFTER THEY TOOK 3 PEOPLE THAT CAME IN AFTER HER, they got mad! Now, my nails are ABSOLUTELY HIDEOUS! They had the old lady with the red hair do my nails. I should have known she couldn't do nails when I showed a picture of a simple glitter ombré (which they had on their color ring) and she told my they didn't have any. What she meant was that she couldn't do it. How do I know? The lady next to me was getting a glitter ombré by a different manicurist. Not only does this lady suck at manicures, SHE IS EXTREMELY ROUGH! I left the salon with my hands hurting wrist to finger tip. I came in with tips already on and the lady tried to soak them off. I told her I wanted the tip and I'm not paying to have them put back on. She then asked if I wanted to shorten the nail and I said no (that literally defeats the purpose of a tip). She STILL managed to shorten my nails at least an inch. The shape is lumpy and all over the place. When I tried to assist and tell her about the misshaped nails she got agitated! Finally, I asked her to put some stones on the nails so they'd look a little better.....yet another mistake. Not only did it take her 12 years from Sunday to put rhinestones on 5 finger nails, they are crooked! I know they have some very talented manicurists here because I've seen it. This place is awful. Do not go here. Only positive thing is the prices, but not worth the uncleanliness and poor nail technicians. My nail tech attempted to take the gel off my nails by filing it down then literally ripping it off with her fingers. It was so painful. I used to love this place, but the services have been extremely sloppy lately. Long story short, I went to get a dip powder set on Friday. The older woman with the red hair them. First, she couldn't find the color I selected (unorganized). Then, she damn near files my skin off my nails. I asked for the almond shape, which she clearly didn't know how to do, so another lady had to come over to file/shape then. When I left, the nails were a dull/dirty matte color. I don't know if she dipped them enough or what, but they did not look professionally done. On Sunday (two days after getting them done), my middle fingernails broke. By Wednesday, 2 more nails broke while squeezing a lemon. I came up there on Wednesday to get them fixed and they told me I shouldn't get powder because they were thin. I've gotten powder there several times and never had a problem with them breaking so soon. The lady proceeds to fix it, but I notice the color is significantly lighter than the others. She tells me its because they are "old". It hadn't even been a week since I first got them done, so they barely had wear. They were dull and weak because the initial woman did a poor job. If you choose to go and want, my advice is go to the lady that sits to the left of the door or to the young woman that speaks English well. I think her name is Melissa or Kim. read more

Let's start off by reiterating what everyone has already said. THEY DON'T TAKE APPTS but boy was it worth the wait. I found this place by searching through Instagram and after messaging them I found out they open at 10am. So I got up one rainy Saturday morning trekked from Allen all the way to near uptown Dallas, missed a turn twice and found parking in some parking lot behind the building. I pulled up at 10:06. Door open and BOOM 7 girls already in there sitting down. Only one nail tech and girls on their phones waiting. I told her I want a new set and she said okay. 30 minutes passed more techs walked in and the place started to fill up. Almost an hour passes I finally get into the chair with Kim. I explained to her what I wanted and from there she was on it. Full set three colors foil and some crystals later she was done! I added on getting my eyebrows done and the total was 55 bucks. By 12:35 I was out and feeling like a real woman again! I will go back. Tip from Kim. Come later on in the day during on a weekend. It will be less packed. read more

I honestly love this little hole in the wall! It's affordable and they are so nice! To me customer service is huge and the fact that they've remembered my name and my friend I came with from the first time I ever went speaks volume! They always ask about her and I appreciate that kind of hospitality! I love my Ombré Nails. It's always a wait but for the most part it's not a long wait. I also get my eyebrows done and they do a good job on that as well! I will continue to always go here until I move away from downtown. I got my nails done there once before and the lady was really nice and she did a pretty good job seeing as I only paid $20 bucks for a manicure and the shellac nail polish. Most other places were $40 for shellac without a manicure. They are really cheap so you do have to keep in mind that you get what you pay for but I'll probably go back to see if my second visit is consistent with my first. read more
