This was not a good experience personally. I got dip with tips and she made them way to thick and the edges were uneven, the shape was bad and I asked her to thin them down and straighten the edges multiple times but the finished product was still not good. Will not be returning. read more

Very bad experience here. I asked them to put acrylic over my largest toenail before painting the nail because half the nail had come off from a prior accident - instead, they didn't do so and painted over my skin. Went to another salon immediately after to get it fixed. My manicure was not good either - the dip was extremely thick and misshapen, she didn't even do anything with the nails (e.g., lotion, trimming cuticles, etc.), yet it was $33. I was sitting in my chair after with no one helping me for about 15 minutes waiting for an eyebrow waxing and ended up just trying to leave (but then as soon as I stood up they told me they could wax them). Overall a really bad experience that cost me $93 without tip. The fact that I immediately went to another nail salon after to fix my pedicure speaks volumes. Never again. read more

This was the worst nail spa I have ever been too. It smelt horrible and was very very dirty. Not just that there service was even worse and they were very rude. They stook my hands into straight acid and my hands got numb because they made me keep them in there for long time while they left me for 45 to go work on some else while I just sat there. It got to the point where I left. As I was leaving these chased me out trying to tell me I had to pay when they didn't do anything to my nails. Do not ever go here, it is horrible. read more

The worst. The lady who did my pedicure who I think was the store owner did a great job but that did not make up for the lady that did my manicure. I have no problem with nail techs talking to each other as they work on my hands. However this lady was clearly saying something about me and my friend as she pointed at each of us. Really subtle there. I glared at her but she didn't pay attention at all. She just kept on pointing and saying things that was clearly about us. On top of that, her manicure is the worst I've had other than the one time my cuticles bled and no first aid was given. My cuticles looked terrible and we just felt wronged walking out which is not how you want to feel after spending your hard earned money for something that was supposed to be a treat. I would not recommend this place and will not come here again. read more

This tiny little nail spa was a perfect accidental find while visiting Dallas last week for some work-related education. I used a lunch break to update my manicure: Quick, clean, great environment, and well-done shellac manicure plus a pedicure for my mini-me - whole kit 'n caboodle ran me $20.00. I'd have liked a tv on for entertainment and somewhere to look during the silence of a mani, but they did have the radio going. I'll put this on my "Dallas" list and will definitely come again when I'm next in town! read more

I went in about a week and a half ago for a dip manicure, and while I loved that they had a wide selection of colors (not many salons offer the dip w/ a lot of colors), it took forever for someone to get to me. After a week and a half, my nails are cracking and chipping. I usually never have have any issues with the dip manicures cracking or chipping, so I was shocked when a small chunk of polish came off. I probably won't be coming back here. read more

Very professional setup, decor, massage chairs, etc. Not crowded. Just what I expected. Had various options on the pedicure. She was rather fierce with the cuticle cutting and I was sore for a few days...but it's the longest lasting pedicure I've had in a long time, so maybe she knew what she was doing. This is a good place for a mani/pedi if you need something quick and/or cheap but not if you want to be pampered. The chairs were old, they don't have any beverages or at least my daughter and I were offered any. The massage was a joke, and my nail was smudged while she was putting on my shoes, she didn't to fix it even after I pointed it out. Also the she pretty much skipped any callus removal. Since moving back I have gone to multiple nail salons, trying to get a feel of the ones I like. I think highland nails does a great job. I go here when I want a regular manicure/ pedicure or gel polish on my nails. They always look perfect. I wouldn't advice doing powder here though, for some reason my experiences with that have not been so positive here. Otherwise it's a great spot. read more

Just awful. We made appointments so we could be done in an hour for hands & toes, but they had one working on my toes and the other working on my mother's hands. This nail place is the best out of all the ones within a 3 mile radius of SMU. I always request Lee and get the highland pedicure! SHE DOES AN AMAZING JOB!! I OFTEN FALL ASLEEP SOMETIMES DURING HER MASSAGES. However the only reason I give them 4 stars is because the guy that works the front desk can be a little pushy at times which I don't like and he always to seem to be in the way of other employees. Other than that I love this place. And the prices are reasonable for what your getting. read more
