I first wrote a review for this place about 8 years ago and I'm still coming back, which truly says everything. I've been a loyal client for almost a decade now and the level of consistency here is rare. Betty gives the most beautiful pedicures, always relaxing and perfectly done, and Cindy has always been my go to for flawless full sets. I am quite particular with my nails and I always leave completely satisfied, which is not easy to find. Today I had my nails done with Molly while Cindy was out and she did such a lovely job. She took her time, paid attention to every detail, and the result was exactly what I expect every time I come here. I truly love this place. I have been here a few times, but never had a horrible experience like I did today. I just wanted a gel mani & it took 2 HOURS just for me to walk out with uneven nail beds & with no polish...BLANK! I basically just paid $20 to sit around & get my nail bed over filed numerous times because the first color wasn't apply correctly so they suggested to redo it (I didnt have an extra 1hr to spear)! Im giving a gracious 2 stars due to a location convenient to the galleria area, in a newish and parking friendly area, and because my actual nails came out nice. After being chased out the door because someone besides my nail tech thought I didn't pay before leaving, I shouldn't be so gracious. Not only did I pay, of course, but I had also left a tip! How embarrassing! I wouldn't take a friend, partner, or spouse here for a spa day, as the inside leaves much to be desired. I went in to get my acrylics taken off. BIG mistake. I've had experience with acrylics for years but NEVER an experience like this. She literally filed through my nail into my nail bed until I was bleeding. My pinky finger nail now has a large hole/ cut through it. The nail tech apologized ONCE and then looked at me and shrugged and rolled her eyes. At the end when I was paying (which looking back I should NOT have had to pay for her mistake) she had the audacity to stop me and ask me if I would still tip her. A tip?? For injuring me??? Not a good vibe when I came in. Brought my niece for just paint (not a manicure) on her hands and the owner let a group of etihw girls come in and told us to come back in an hour when there were enough staff to help and get this simple child's color paint over with. I also stated that I was only in town for another hour and had to drive myself back home after dropping her off here. He still told me no and took the huge group of etihw girls and we did not look like them. They were prioritized and it hurt my niece and I. I called at 4:55pm on a Friday and was told I could get in for a mani pedi. 5 minutes later I was there and in the spa chair I have never had Next Gen before ($40) and was thinking of doing gel. I wasn't pressured in to anything and ended up doing the Nex Gen and the Plush Pedicure ($35). I was offered a beverage, I chose white wine. She didn't offer the chair massage so I asked and she turned it on for me. I don't know the name of my manicurist but she did a great job! Vivian I believe did my pedicure and I have to say she was awesome! Sometimes I'm apprehensive bc I've been nipped so many times when they are trimming my cuticles. She did great! I hate giving negative reviews, but I was not fully pleased with our experience. My friend and I were a Friday night walk in, so we naturally had to wait. Totally fine. But it took over an hour for us to get seats next to each other. Again, not their fault. But they started on my nails after about 30 minutes of sitting down, and didn't start my friend's until MUCH later. I sat with her for at least an hour after mine had been finished. From the time I got there to the time we left, it had been almost 4 hours. Everyone was really cool and sweet to us except one of the male employees who was a bit aggressive. Kim was great though. They also let us bring in our own bottle of wine which was awesome! However, one day after my pedicure, every single toe's polish had been worn down or chipped in some way. Additionally, a good portion of my friend's nail tip completely broke off. My finger nails were also cut too short, so my fingertips were sore for about a day. Our visit was 11 days ago, and I got dip on my fingernails which are still in tact and strong! read more

This will be the last time I will ever come here. Steven is extremely rude. They have old nail polish out then when it comes out bad they try to blame you the customer for choosing a color they have on display. I was not rude at all. I nicely told the lady the polish looks bad. After she had to put 4 coats on because you could see the streaks and the bald spots. When she started I expressed my concern and she said I have to put 3 coats on because you could immediately see the polish was thinned out so much because it was either old or they kept adding thinner to it. He then proceeds to get nasty with me and blames me for picking the color. Then say "you get what you pay for". Do not come here unless you want to be treated disrespectfully. read more

I came in for a simple manicure and was paired with Tammy. She seems nice but this was the worst manicure I've ever had. It started when she was filing my nail and skin, which I brought to her attention. Then when it came to painting my nails, she got the paint all over the place and had to go back and clean up multiple times. However, the attempted clean up did not make it better. She knew that the job was bad and try to blame it on a bad pair or glasses. Only reason why I gave one stars is because I think other are much better at doing nails, but the owner should not have someone like this on the floor doing nails. read more

The salon is very well kept, and they offer complementary wine and slightly watered down margaritas--I stick to the wine. Steven is THE MAN! Without him, I'm unsure if I would visit Plush as much as I do. He is very engaging, well mannered, and has personality for days! I got cheap one day and stepped out on Steven (visited another nail salon). The atmosphere is ok, but from my experience there they seemed very understaffed, causing me to be there fo about 3 hours. Of those 3 hours, I spent the first hour sitting my hands in acetone to remove my prior full set. That unfortunately made my hands extremely dry all week, but nothing extreme. The only reason I'd give it a 3-star review and not a 2 or 1 was because the owner (can't remember his name) was very nice and remained calm during all of the chaos. Again, there where a lot of customers there waiting to be seated, worked on, etc. and not enough staff to take care of everyone in a reasonable time. Lastly, my actual nail job wasn't impressive but it got the job done. I personally wouldn't recommend a friend here. But if you absolutely need something done and you're in the area, go for it. read more

This place doesn't even deserve a rating! I went here because a friend of mine suggested. She told me they do a good job.. however ask me how well of a job they did.. because I wouldn't know. When I got there they were busy everyone had someone in their chair and was working. There was an older man and a woman who greeted me and asked me what I needed I was told by my friend to ask for Steven (horrible decision) when they said he would be 30 mins I said ok well is there anyone else avail she told me no not at the time and offered me something to drink. I told her I didn't have to wait for him and was willing to just go to whomever was avail. However I ended up waiting for almost a hour no one not once offered to show me a book with colors or anything the whole time I waited even when I asked they told me to just wait. So Steven arrives and he is like I would need to get a full set because I might not be able to match the colors. Which was fine I figured that much. However he was rushing me telling me I needed to hurry up and pick a color because he was busy.. (how? When you just got here!!) then yelled at me because I wasn't moving fast enough. I didn't say anything else to him I asked the other woman was there anyone else avail to do my nails and he started talking over her being extremely rude! I just got up and started to leave and his rude smart mouth yells thanks for waiting as I was leaving. How rude is that to tell someone after they have been waiting for a service instead of saying sorry you had to wait or anything. Also they called the police because I said something to Steven about his customer service and they way he approached me! Witness was your own employee!! So that does not count as a witness! There were many women there that agreed I was VERY calm and respectful until your employee disrespected me! If you want customer service don't go here and from the looks of it not many do good nails one or two. The ppl that do pedicures are better in their services. Also you are a liar because I was STILL there when the police came and they spoke to me and the other women that witness that blandly disrespect that you showed! And the person who referred DOESNT COME THERE ANYMORE! I have recording of the way you treated me and I will post every bit of it! How dare you get on this review and try to blame me because you have horrible service and was disrespectful toward me after I was very patient and nice to everyone in that salon! You have some nerve! Sooooo my last visit I got a plush pedi. I had also mentioned no one was in shop getting their nails done--I see why . I came in today (5/3) for a full set Nexgen and Classic Pedi. I have a nail shop I've been going to for years but had no time to drive across town and leaving out of town like tomorrow. First off. I had to remind the tech to do a Nexgen base then he didnt cut my cuticles. I figured he was going to go about the while service in a different order and I didn't want to tell him what to do and get him all on edge (So I stayed quite). Long annoying story short. He completely rushed. My nails were left uneven and bumpy. When he finished he didn't give me the hand rub or cuticle oil. **20 Mins later and nails completed in the process of pedi being done he returns--- he puts the cuticle oil on and begins removing them and uses the hand held spinner-but wait lol-- he already let the clear gel dry! Now I'm confused. He finishes with a simple hand rub and moves on....I can't! What just happened. ** Secondly. The place was understaffed like the last time and I waited about 25-30 mins for a tech to start my pedi and my nails were done. The Pro is they are open late and in my complex. Other than that Pro-Nothing. Also let's be honest everywhere you go now offers adult beverages, TV and comfy chairs its all about ambiance, service and the end product result of your chosen service. And the unnecessary wondering of staff and chatter continued with the same spooky guy hunching over the techs shoulder ready for everyone to pay I can't with this place.
