I hate to write too much about how amazing this nail salon is because I want to keep it to myself. lol It's hard to find a salon that knows how to effortlessly execute a design, but that is exactly what happened during my two visits to Addison Nail Salon. My first visit was with Jasmine, and she used expert precision to execute my nail design exactly like the photograph. Yesterday, I was seen by another lady (her name escapes me), but I know she has two grandchildren. I let her free style the design on my pedicure, and it came out better than expected. I am not one who gets my nails done regularly, but I was in need of a pedicure before leaving town so needed to get in and happened to see this spot had a Happy Hour in the middle of the day during the week. So I said what better time to try a place out and then return if I like it. So their HH is 10% off the regular prices. I read reviews that said Moon was great at pedis. And she didn't disappoint! The place is clean, and the staff was friendly I didn't get that typical nail salon experience where everyone was just trying to get you in and out. Maybe it was because of the time I went, not sure. I'll have to see how it is when they're in their rush times on the weekends. Anyways, Miss Moon was so sweet, and really took good care of me and took the time to do a good job. She also speaks English which I appreciated so it was super easy to communicate with her what I wanted. Additionally, they offer drinks while you're getting your nails done. I will definitely come back to enjoy more of their services, they do everything from nails, to waxing, lashes, and more. Paid $54+ tip for my Gel Pedi. read more

My nails that were just painted with a black thin pin for this design. So let me just say I came into this salon after calling, just passing by. I asked how much for a gel polish change the receptionist said $25, which was not bad for a gel polish change. I get inside then the price is $30. At this point I'm like ok still. The receptionist gave me the books to look at gel polish. After taking off my design I had on my nails, mind you my nails are not even a week old I just wanted a new color, the nail tech preceded to find the colors I asked for. Each and I mean EACH and every color l asked for they did not have. After me picking out about five different colors and them not having them a new technician came over and proceeded to say I will mix some colors together to make the color you are asking for I said OK let me see, the technician proceeded to mix the colors and paint them on a tip for me to see. The color was not anything that I was interested in at this point. I am like OK I should have just kept the design I came in with on my nails and never stopped here. I was saying this to myself of course not to the technician. I actually opted in to show them a picture after the technician asked me did I have a picture of something I may like, the technician proceeded to paint my nails with just a black pen over the powder colors already on my nails. At the register the receptionist rang the price and it is $50. I am like "no I am not paying that because you guys didn't have any colors I wanted and you guys had to make up something for me to get because my nail design had already been taken off." Had I came in for a design initially this would have been acceptable however, I didn't so the $30 was already too much being as though I had to go through so much to even get this on my nails. Which I reiterate, was not what I initially came in for. Long story short if you are looking for a variety of colors, do not come here because they are not here. Ask before you sit down if they have the color that you need if you shall venture here anyway. This is my recommendation. Bad experience and might I say I'm new to Texas. I went to the nail salon as a walk-in. I was seen by Paul. I went on Saturday morning and it was fairly empty, but as I sat there and noticed more more people came in. I told Paul what I wanted and he did an amazing job making sure to get the shape exactly how I like it. I prefer short to medium coffin nails, but I like my tips very pointy. I cannot wait to come back and visit again and I highly recommend that you guys choose someone other than Paul because he's mine. read more

Will not be returning & will be leaving a review on yelp & google. I opt in for a $50 pedicure and a full set. Very SHORT. During my service, she drilled my cuticles to be point of bleeding on both hands. One thing I hate is accountability. Apologize & own up to your fault. Don't play it off. I was bleeding for a while and she kept pouring alcohol on it. Once she was done, she told me the total was $85z I said ok. I was impressed but also thought maybe due to her mistake, she was doing the needful. Once I was fully done and got to checkout, she tells me it's $156. I responded so it's not $85? She says no and laughs it off, I respond by letting her know she said it is $85, she then proceeds to laugh it off and said no. I made the payment and left because I didn't want any problems. But scammed behavior & this is why I started doing my own nails. I was expecting to pay at least $110 due to the simple request I had before going in. After her mess up with me bleeding, I thought she would do the needful and I thought she did. But this is not ok. I will not be returning. It's one thing paying for fairness/ when you provided good service. It's another thing to overcharge someone on bad work. And she knew. read more

It all started when I sat down. The nail tech reviewed my nails, and instant wanted to cut my long nails down. I refused and she brought I someone else to do my nails. Eventually 5 people will come by and look at my nails and comment in another language about how long they were. I was beyond frustrated. I just wanted to leave.
