I work from my laptop all day, so this really vibed with my lifestyle, and I appreciated the convenience of being able to communicate in real time for my last-minute appointment! Of course, I chose this salon based on the high reviews and to my delight, it was obvious that these reviews were earned and not by luck or solicitation. My tech was a man (the only one there), I have no idea what anyone is complaining about because he knew exactly what he was doing. Efficient and quick, just how I like it. It's a shame to have to write this, but I've given Kailey a couple tries with no improvement. So many things about this place are great, however, the level of professionalism is lacking. After months of overall good experiences at this nail spa, I had one technician who was very rough, in all the ways. Grabbed my ankle too roughly, pushed too hard on the massage, cut the nails too cavalierly while holding a death grip on my foot. I told him once that it was painful. He changed not at all. I mentioned to Kailey that I didn't want that particular technician again and why. She told me she'd take note of it. The next time I went there (with a friend) she told me she remembered that I needed a "delicate touch," which I don't. Just a normal touch would be fine. She gave my friend the rough guy. My friend audibly gasped when he grabbed her ankle. Okayyyy, so it's not just me. Later I was talking about this experience to another friend and before I described the tech in question, she was able to do so. She knew exactly who he was, be cause she had had the same experience. Finally, this very last time I went there, Kailey joked with my friend that I was late (I was exactly on time), and then she AGAIN told my tech that I really needed a delicate touch. I said "Nope. Just normal, please. Been getting pedicures for 30 years and only ever complained about one tech." After the pedicure, while my friend payed her bill, I went to the restroom. While I was in there, Kailey told my friend "And now we wait for the Queen." Ok, game over. I don't like my spa services with a side of passive aggression. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I messaged through Yelp and got a very prompt response from Kailey and appointment. I was scheduled with Maile and she was amazing. I keep my fingernails and toenails very short with no polish. I frequently get judged and pressured to add polish when I don't want it. Not only didn't she make me feel judged for my super short nails, she asked me if I wanted them trimmed, and she did an exceptional job shaping and asking me to feel for any rough edges. She got them perfectly shaped and the shape held until my next manicure. To top it off, the service was only $60. I tipped $20 and still felt like I got a good deal. The spa itself is nice and seems clean. There is one other review of a man that was aggressive and I do believe I got that same person. He was snarky and had aggressive movements. At one point he asked if I wanted a massage "because it came with it" and I said please no! He just seems to really not like his job. Make sure you do not get this person if you are new to the salon. Walked in and asked for a miracle and they delivered. Place was clean and peaceful. Staff was nice. I didn't catch the man's name that worked on my nails but he was patient and funny. I haven't seen my nails look this nice in a while. I had to run and leave a review. They helped me find the color I wanted and I thought they were reasonably priced for what I got. A new service that is a must! It's called Builder Gel and it's for fingernails. I've been a "pedicure only" customer for years. Just didn't want long nails and thought the upkeep would be cost time and money. Not so!! With Builder Gel, my nails get to be the trim length I like and, once applied, it lasts two weeks with no chipping or fading! The price is right, too! Give it a go, it's worth it! read more

It has been really hard to find a good quality pedicure spot in Dallas. This place checks all the boxes! I made a last-minute appointment on a Sunday and they were able to seat me right when I got there. The owner made sure I picked a pedicure package to suit my needs. The colors were well organized, and all the polishes looked clean and tidy. The chair itself was comfortable enough but I think the owner said they're redoing that part of the Salon so I think they're gonna have new chairs soon. They did have a pedicure chair for kids as well. While some other Dallas salons are going with the bright pink or modern white themes, this salon has a more Zen spa-like vibe. Forest Lane Nails is my neighborhood nail salon. I am very fortunate to have discovered them few years ago. Nancy usually does my gel French manicure, but I have also been to Holly and Chloe and others in the shop. They are all skillful and sweet. Kailey manages the place with style, grace and a sharp eye for maintaining good service. My manicure and regular pedicure, both, last for at least four weeks, and I am not careful with my nails. I don't wear gloves, and I subject them to all sorts of abuse. But they still last and look beautiful until they finally grow out too much! Try this place. You won't be sorry. read more

I would definitely recommend. My only negative comment would be that it is a little pricy especially if you can in the building.
