Update... I drove past and noticed a sign in the window that stated " under new management " sooo I decided to pop in and give them another try. I was greeted by a really nice guy, I could tell things had changed as they have brand new chairs and so many more color options. Also many new faces. A handsome young man named Danny did my pedicure, he did a wonderful job and I could tell he was a perfectionist by How great he pained my toes. I will definitely return with the new staff on board. read more

I was excited to get my nails done at French Nails. The place I usually go to is always externally busy and it's a small space so it's always filled which isn't relaxing. I was hoping to find an alternative that I liked as much or more and I think I found one. The staff was really nice and the salon is spacious so even when there is someone at each station I feel like I would have room to walk around and not have to worry about my purse being knocked down by someone passing buy. Johnny did my nails and I loved how they turned out. He was very meticulous which I loved since I can be a bit picky when it comes to my nails. I am extremely pleased. read more

Traveling for work and was looking for a spa to get a mani and pedi and I'm so glad I found this place, I wish I could bring them to Chicago with me. Im staying in a nearby hotel and after the reviews and pictures I thought this was a good choice. They weren't busy, it was 1:30 pm and they sat me at a chair with the plastic in the tub already ripped and the chair wasn't turned on for the massage. I had to ask them to turn it on so I could use it. They kept trying to upsell everything - which would be okay but they didn't even do a 1 minute foot massage at all and used water to rub up and down my calves and shin several times. Just thought with the reviews and stars that it would have been a better experience. read more

The guy in the front is very nice and welcoming so I had one good experience here I paid $103 for my toes and nails and eyebrows and I was disappointed my eyebrows looked like nothing was done to them my toes turned yellow the next day after being done and around my nails are stained yellow from them and I also have cuts on my cuticle from the lady Chloe who did my nails my nail shapes are different sizes and they look like they didn't just get done yesterday this was my first time going there and I won't be back the manager dismissed my concern and blamed the yellow stain on me and also tried playing in my face as if she didn't see all the things I was unhappy about I went back three times about these problems today and twice yesterday when I got my nails done read more

Update 2: 5 stars ***Phenomenal customer service*** from the owner Michael and my nail tech Ben. (My new and improved nails are the blue and coral nail set by Ben) Michael saw me update my previous review and reached out quickly and wanted to make my experience better. I went back to get my nails fixed at no cost and Ben is AMAZING. Very friendly, personable, funny, and we had good conversations. He was empathetic and made sure my nails were perfect and he pays attention to detail and goes back to touch areas up as needed. Never had a nail tech do this before. The shape of my nails were perfect also! I will go back and only see Ben now, I trust him and the owner Michael Michael is also very attentive, friendly, and always smiling. The fact he reached out and offered my to get them redone and make things right says a lot about his good character. Update : 3 stars (Nail chipping, lifting, sharp edges, nails popping off) I wanted to like this salon, and I still think the customer service is amazing, but my friend and I ended up having issues with our nails shortly after our visit. My friend had two nails pop off within a week, and during my nail's growth, you can see some of the imperfections done. I've never had nails grow out to look like they're lifting from the back , or are uneven towards the nail bed. Some of my nails are chipping away also, which has also never happened before. My friend had to get her nails redone at another salon after a week. I may consider this place again, I wouldn't say not to come here, but I just wanted to update my review. The receptionist did say to us on our way out when we came that if we had issues to come back, so I do appreciate that offer. I also wish they offered us drinks, but you'll have to ask for a drink if you'd like one. ------- 5 stars This was my first time at this location and I had an amazing experience - one of the best nail experiences ever. The staff are all friendly and great at what they do, from start to finish. The gentleman (Michael) who answered the phone was kind and thorough. My nail artist was Tracy and she was so friendly and listened to what I wanted. She also would make sure I liked what I chose before proceeding , which I appreciated. Terrible service. I was looking for a younger nail technician to cut my nails & give me a manicure. They assigned an older lady, who was extremely mean & aggressive. She cut my nails fine, no conversation at all, the hand massage was done w the regular nail oil & not the hand lotion. I WILL NOT BE BACK. I'm traveling 30 mins north to Frisco for Happy Nails. Wow! Wonderful service. I was a walk in and they seated me right away. LA did an amazing job on my nails! I showed her one picture and it came out even more perfect than the picture. Maybe he wasn't feeling well today? I will return because I have a few favorite techs, and the salon is close to my house, but wow such dismissive rudeness. read more

An acrylic fill costs $80!!! They up-charge you for length. When I question this charge, she stated it was because they still have to fill the entire nail. Lies...you only fill the back portion of my nail. They up-charge you for "special shape". I prefer coffin. Again, my nails were already in this particular shape so no additional methods were needed to get this shape. BUT...No matter what shape a customer receives, the nail still has to be filed so what constitutes a special shape. And the design job...simple...nothing that warranted a $30 up-charge. Highlight: My pedicure was amazing. I was torn between two colors and she tested both out to help me decide. She was quick and gentle. I usually cringe through the entire process. read more

A loud shout out to this place!! They are The best nail salon I ever been I walked in on a Thursday 6 pm, to fill in my acrylics. I had the acrylics done initially in another state, and had them filled a couple of times here in Dallas. I can't possible express how AMAZING Jamie is! Perfection is the word! From cleaning my cuticles, to painting my nails, I can tell without any doubt, that nobody have done anything close to what she did! She even found a fungus on my thumb nail! Thank God she found it!! On my second time there, Richard took care of me. He was wonderful as well! I am so happy that I found French Nails, for now on I won't take chances with another salon! My usual salon had closed for the day (it was around 7:00pm) so I decided to try this place (open till 10:00pm)! It was very clean and fancy looking, but when I was sat down to get my toes done... TELL ME WHY the guy seemed as if he had NEVER done a pedicure in his liiiiiife. I sat through him filing my literal skin (I'm cut) and wiping off polish several times. Also, I paid for a basic pedicure and didn't even get the treatment that comes with the package!!!! My cuticles are flooded with GEL POLISH.. not okay, never coming back again. Thx read more

Visited French Nails for the first time on February 11th. I made an appointment and as soon as I walked in I was greeted and seated by an extremely friendly receptionist or front desk worker. He offered me a drink but I chose water due to how early it was. I received a gel-x set and a pedicure. My pedicure was amazing with a neck and shoulder massage. The gentleman that tended to me was gentle but thorough. My gel-x service started late which was not a problem because they communicated the issue with me from the very beginning. My overall experience there was a 10/10. Costing me around $170 for everything. (Gel-x was $120 *no designs just colored French tip and pedicure was $50) HOWEVER it has officially been 6 days and 2 of my gel-x nails have popped off my non-dominant hand. I sit at a desk all day doing paperwork barely no typing, just talking to patients. I usually apply my own press on nails that I get custom made from Etsy ($50) and they last 2-3 weeks. So of course I have glued the nails back on myself at this point smdh. I'm just at a lost for words right now. Would I go back? Yes Would I get gel-x again? ABSOLUTELY NOT especially not for $120 read more

This place is not only insta-worthy, but the nail techs here are great. After seeing this salon on Instagram and the great reviews on Yelp, I decided to see what the hype was all about. I called ahead that morning to book an appointment, and was able to get in the same day. Not only were the techs extremely friendly, but they did a great job in a timely manner. In fact, I was literally in and out in about a little more than an hour. They also offer you a drink during your service (non-alcoholic and wine/margaritas). Went in to try it out since the salon I normally go to is in Irving. This place did not disappoint. Got a dip manicure and a regular pedicure. Both ladies were amazing and I am so happy with my nails! Glad to have a place nearby my apartment to go get my nails done. Everyone was friendly and the place looks beautiful. Came to get a dip and pedi today, nice atmosphere, was asked if I wanted a drink right away, I went with the citrus pedicure, which I really enjoyed. I did get cut with my dip and I didn't like that she didn't clean under my nails. She is a beautiful soul - so welcoming, pleasant, and kind. I am so happy with the results of my facial. It was a very relaxing experience! Please note this is an open concept, so facials are not in private consult rooms. I had no problem with that, but some individuals may not like that. The treatment prices were very reasonable. The spa…read moreis open format so no curtains or privacy which is generally fine, though a lower value concept. I asked the facialist to utilize a hydrating and anti-aging strategy. The facial began well, with lavender scents and some shoulder massaging. After the first couple serums, however, the process took a turn for the worse. After each treatment, the facialist would excuse himself to go to a back room. After a while I would open my eyes and wonder where this person went. Then about 30 minutes into this stop and go treatment, the facialist puts a cooling mask on me says he has to go wash dishes and will be back again. Let's play this through. He's about to go wash dirty dishes of some kind and then come back and touch my face? I don't think so. Further, if I wanted a 20 minute mask treatment, I can do that at home. I come to facial appointments for the skin manipulation, massage, steam, serums, etc. not for a person to spend the majority of the appointment in a back room while I'm out marinating in a bull pen. It's clear by the empty room that this sentiment must be shared by others. There are plenty of facial spas out there that offer much more attentive and individualized services at the same price point. Needless to say, I will not be back.

Kathryn gave my son a facial specifically targeted for kids.. it's never too early to care about your skin!
