I think I may need therapy after this experience. This felt like the "Dicks restaurant" of nail salons, except they don't advertise themselves to be aggressive and rude. The lady who took off my gel and did my manicure was SO rough with me, I was red all over my arms and hands after. She didn't communicate with me once and would aggressively start taking off my jacket to give me an arm massage - nice in theory but maybe give people a heads up??? The salon itself is kinda dirty, doubt the tools are sterile. Ended up paying $52 with tip for a simple, gel manicure. Avoid this place, there are much better places out there. read more

Some of the workers there are great! ...BUT, just beware that your appointment could be canceled even at the last moment because the manicurist had a later request from another client who wanted the same time, required more services, and customarily leaves a larger tip - ie more than 20%. read more

I went from pedicure and manicure every 2 weeks, to an occasional at-home service since March of 2020. I continued to have my brows done since that is done in a private room, and my esthetician recommended this salon knowing my particularities with COVID safety and desperation for a mani/pedi. I called and got an appointment the day before for a Sunday afternoon. I was 45 minutes early and they were super quick to get me set up even though they only had 3 staff members working (which I appreciated big time). After going almost a year, not being comfortable returning to my normally extremely crowded nail salon, this was perfect! They were all so sweet, and especially helpful because my toe nails (ingrown, tmi, I know) were a disaster and they fixed them right up! I felt comfortable with all of their precautions, they were very kind and accommodating in every respect. So thankful to have found my new spot - it's been a week, and my dip manicure is still perfect, the know how to do them correctly. Same with gel toes, everything still looks great! Can't wait to go back, though I don't recommend everyone rush in and ruin their great covid protocols, but I highly recommend this place for anyone during and post-covid! read more

I went here one day with some of my girlfriends. We needed last min manicures so we googled places near us and Carousel Nails popped up. As soon as we walked in the ladies were super nice & sweet.The salon was very clean and neat, which I loved. Plus amazing service! I got my nails done by Cindy and she did an amazing job. After my previous salon closed I was left to search for a new place. I reached out to my trusted neighborhood online group and asked for referrals. Carousel was mentioned a few times so I decided to try them. It is a perfect fit ! Cindy the owner ( 25 years in business) is sweet and does a beautiful manicure & Jenny is brilliant with my pedicure. Meticulous, great massage. The place is clean , not overcrowded & the other clientele are nice too ; many regulars for decades. I have since referred a few other friends & they loved the experience & service too. Just a heads up, if you pay with credit card there is a processing fee ($1.50 ) but they do accept cash or check as well. AND, they're open on Sunday too! read more

If I could do zero starts I would. First time visit and absolutely disgusted with the service and professionalism of this place. Showed her the picture she proceeded to do my nails and after constant changes and explaining of why I did not like them this was the result. I told the technician and manager I would like the nails removed and will pay for the services not the nails. When the manager came to fix the problem the nail technician SWATTED my hands away and hit them away from her like I was a fly. I walked out immediately so disgusted. I will be pressing charges as I cannot believe the manager and salon allows for technician to put their hands on customers or ANYONE. DISGUSTED. read more

This is the prettiest ombre french dip manicure I've ever seen! Carousel has been my nail salon for almost 10 years. Cindy & her team have taken such good care of my nails, I've done everything from traditional manicure to gel, now dip nails with long tips... Horrible customer service. They will start your nails and leave you hanging for 45 minutes. When they make an irreparable mistake, they claim they cannot reverse credit card charges. They will blame you for having to come in to work while their children are in the car (even if you were not the one to request them). If the salon cannot handle walk-ins, they should be straightforward and decline if they can't do a decent job. read more

Went here because I was shopping in the area...I had nexfen done. Nails are uneven, have a strange look to a few of the nails. The lady we t super fast, cut my Cuticle with the file and was just all around rough. I did not enjoy getting my nails done whatsoever. I will not be back nor recommend. read more

Been going here for 7 yr. Cindy and all of the ladies take great care of my nails. The manicures and pedicures are such a treat. Enjoy the massage chair even when just getting a manicure. My old place started getting sloppy and in a hurry so I decided to try this one near my office. I got a pink and white fill earlier this week and returned today for a pedicure. Peter did both. My nails look the best they have ever looked- he said something about shape size and nail bed and I said do what u want just make them pretty and he did. He is a perfectionist and I like that. They are currently remodeling so I don't think the plain Jane review will apply much longer. Price is very fair and everything is very clean. They have talked very little to each other in both of my visits and Peter spoke just enough. I'm inclined to think they read the previous review.... Terrible service. Called for an appointment. They said 4:30. Told them never mind we would go somewhere else. They then said they could do 2 mani/pedi at 2:30. 1 hour later they are just starting 1 mani and and have left both pedicures to do polish on other customers. I would never have come if I had know it was going to take 2 hours. Do not use this nail salon if you're expecting good service. They actually left one pedicure still no manicure started for over 25 minutes with paraffin wax on feet to do quick 5 minute polish on a young child. Ended up doing 3 children . No manicure performed on either of us. Worse experience ever. read more

I have used Carousel Nails since they opened, gosh, must be about 15 years now......they are super clean and hygienic, eager to please, and their work is beautiful! They do immaculate acrylics nails, and divine pedicures...their pedicures are so-o-o-o detailed...no ingrown toenail escapes. They have good massage treatments and facials and waxing, too. Have recommended many friends to them and all have been well pleased. In all the years I have used Carousel, never have I had a problem with nails lifting/breaking/splitting or any other flaw. They are magic. Prices are reasonable especially for the quality. I no longer live in the US and make sure every time I am home that I get in as fast as I can! They are perfectionists. They also carry a great skincare line, hard to find. As for their speaking their native language while working: of course they do sometimes, it is easier and faster for them, but their English is quite good....and anyway, it is not really their job to have to entertain us, it is their job to do our grooming....and they do it beautifully. I recently moved to the area and this salon was right down the street. Overall I was pretty impressed with my experience. The neck message was free with my service, and super relaxing. The prices are reasonable. They didn't try and up-sell me every chance they got. The have a wide variety of OPI gel nail colors, not the knock off stuff some salons have resorted to using. My cuticles are pretty sensitive but I told the technician and she was gentle. Yes they do speak in foreign language to each other but a) this is common in nail salons and I'm never surprised when it happens and b) I never felt they they were talking about ME, probably just discussing what they had for dinner last night. The only down side (if you could call it that) was that they are a bit slow. It took over an hour and a half for a gel manicure and gel pedicure, with TWO technicians working on me at the same time. However once my service was completed I saw that my nails were close to immaculate. I assume they took their time and paid attention to every detail. Probably not the place I would go to for a quickie but well worth the wait when looking for quality. read more
