I've been going here for quite some time. And the owner has always been very rude to people. But I get a full set and pedicure, in total spend 215. Same day I get them done a nail breaks reaching in my pantry. I went in a cruise the following day so I was going to have it fixed when I got home I just kept gluing them back on. well nails start popping off left and right. One was trying to butting pants, another was from snapping my fingers to a song, another was scratching my head. I went up there on 06/25 to talk about getting them fixed he responds with attitude why didn't you call, I told him I was out of the country he said okay and? You still could have called. I said I was in the middle of the ocean no I could not. And said he was going to only charge me 40 which is whatever but I agree and he said come Thursday. Well two more nails break so I call before coming and he gets so rude and tells me I'll need to PAY for a whole new set. I just spent over 200 dollars and most of my nails broke off before even two weeks later doing nothing and not even to mention the fact the last time I came I paid for me and my friend to get nails and toes and spent almost 500! I tried out a few, but they were extremely over priced and i wasn't getting the work & designs I was paying for. Someone told me about studio nails so i figured I'd give it a shot. I will never be going back to studio nails. Only giving two stars because the nail tech who did my toe nails (Vee) did an amazing job on my ingrown toenails. The vibe was completely off and the lady (Ivy) who did my nails rushed like a motherfucker and then refused to fix them. Practically ran out the door actually! I specifically requested Steven because I heard the quality of his work was "amazing" but was given to ivy because "anyone could do the design". It's not about the design it's about the actually nail, and Steven was doing literally nothing and I had an appointment with him. Even after asking for Steven in person I was ignored. Ivy was very aggressive and she hurt me a couple different times, and was very rude. She rushed and got fingernail polish all over my fingers. And didn't let them dry the full time. Since she practically ran out of the door, I finally had Steven attempt to fix my nails. He did a half ass job at that. I will not be returning. I was a little bit scared after seeing reviews, but a few recent said they are under new management. They ain't lying! 15% off going on right now. They are really trying to loose that reputation the last owners had. First time visiting this past Saturday afternoon and asked for a filling. The salon booked me right away. 2 weeks ago, I went into another salon (Star Nails in Arlington, don't go!), here at Studio Nails, my nail-tech lady corrected my messed up nails. Have not had acrylic/gel nails in over 8 years. Yet, seeing Texas ladies wearing beautiful nails throughout the year, I'm back lol They have the LED lights to speed up the nail curing (YASSS). And they charge $27 for a pedicure! They also offer free soda and water. All the staff is honestly more than respectful and kind. The manager told me they also do nail designs of any kind you want with stones, different colors, and shape of nails. Maybe one day I'll try the designs and coffin style. Loi and another employee pointed to my car and said, "$40". I told Loi, I always come here and get the same thing, a trim and dip. To get to this nail salon it is about a 30 minute drive, but it is so worth it to get my nails done by Loi! This particular full set I got I showed him a picture and he absolutely nailed it. The design required hand drawn fire on every nail and Loi took his time and did not rush even though it got very busy. He made sure the shape, length,color, and design was perfect and to my liking. I will never be back every time I come here it's a different price no matter what the design is they kind of just stereotype and charge people as much as they can the guy in chair number 2 got up yelled at me and Vietnamese because I asked him to do the nails the same shape and size that I had them then he moved me over to the first chair and had somebody else do my nails because apparently he was frustrated I asked The next nail tech what the first guys name was because I wanted to leave a review and he got up cussed me out in Vietnamese and tried to defend the other guy and gave me a fake name . I went in to Studio Nails after reading several reviews on Yelp and was pleasantly surprised, I got a pedicure the first time and loved it..the second time I had my eyebrows done. The girl was kind enough to let me know that my eyebrows were uneven, to which I laughed and pointed out a scar I'm sure she saw... I have a good sense of humor and thought it was hilarious - and for $5 who am I to get all sensitive? I love to write Yelp reviews and I was really surprised to see that there were only two reviews on here!! I have been going to Studio Nails for YEARS now and I loveee it. I moved to Austin for college about 3 years ago and I still don't go to anybody else for my eyebrows. I will literally hold off until my next trip to Arlington to visit my dad. I looked like a crazy woman with my eyebrows but I don't trust anybody else with them. The owner of the store- Jeanie, is HILARIOUS, the other two ratings were right about that. Every time I come in she is just so sweet and does such an amazing job, I don't think that she gets enough credit because I know of a lot of nail salons in Arlington that I wished I never had went to. I also always get great advice from Jeanie about my nails, eyebrows.. and my boyfriend! The salon is right down the street from the new Dallas Cowboy's Stadium and they just got new pedicure chairs (sooo comfy and nice!) They do very nice nails here. I prefer a very pointy stiletto shape and I get it here every time. I think most of the techs are men, which I also love. One young man cut my foot while getting a pedicure so I'm much more mindful when someone is working on my feet. The shop is very small and you can't make appointments on the weekend unless you have established a relationship with a particular technician so try to make your first visit during the week. read more

Very disappointed with the service here. They polished my nails with a gel that supposedly never drives right and they used this knowing that but no one told me. So when it started to bubble less than 24 hours later and I went back to get it fixed they said I could fix it for $15 after I already spent $80. And this is because the guy who actually did my nails wasn't there. He said I could come back when he's here but its really hard to make time to keep coming up here every other day.This is the second time I've had to just make due with the job they've done and waste my money. Today I tried Studio Nails just one more time, given that 5 mos ago it was not a good experience with the lack of callous removal/massage, ($65 pedicure that was the most detailed pedi on the menu and the one I chose). I chose the $65 pedicure again today and simply ask that the description of what I was paying for was honored, but to no avail, it was yet another disappointing visit. After a few min's of a "slight" movement emulating a scrub and no pressure/time involved massage, the attendant went to paint my toenails, (20 min's into my pedi). I stopped her politely and ask for the manager. The "manager" was getting a detailed pedi of her own and would not initially get out of her chair, but when I looked at her and told her I would not pay, she got up. I explained the situation and she neither apologized nor ask questions related to the pedi. She did ask me if I would pay? I left. No payment. No explanation. I'm not going back given that this is now twice. Not once. Twice. Maybe they're better at something else? But not pedi's. I can assure you of that. read more
