I've been coming to TopTek Nails since 2020, Tran has been my nail tech. She is the absolute best at applying acrylic and shaping them just how I like. She is ver consistent. I get my nails and toes done once a month and my nails always the last until my next appointment. There has been a few times where I broke my nail, but that was 100% my fault whenever my nails break . My nails have never popped off or come off before it's time for my next appointment. And when I go back to revisit, I almost always get a feel on top of my last set it's rare that I have to always get a new set.
TL:DR: probably won't come back again to this place due to lack of quality of manicure from a certain nail tech. Had a small air bubble on my left thumb (Gel Manicure) and it "exploded" after I got home. :( I can't believe I paid freakin $75 for this?! NOT WORTH!! haven't been to a nail salon in a very long time and had to find a really good nail salon and thought this place would be the it place. Upon arriving, we had to sign in - (they gave us the sign in sheet since me and my sister looked a little lost) and waited for anyone that was free at the moment. (We walked in) While waiting, some of the nail techs came up and asked what we wanted on our nails, we both showed a picture of what we wanted (I picked a picture from their instagram...hoping they knew who's originally did that) and after they were looking at it, they eventually gave us the pricing and that was where I should of said never mind let me go with another design but they sounded a bit hesitant about it and but went through it - since they have that customer satisfaction mentality I guess. After waiting a couple of mins, one of the workers were ready to do our nails and had to take a look at the picture of what we wanted again and after much debating, he took my sister first since my design looked "hard". which I was like lol okay dude. so I waited another good 10 mins or so. (felt like forever) until it was my turn. Finally, it was my turn to do my nails and I was super excited except the nail tech that did my nails, she seemed super quiet and didn't want to chat with me. (I'm Vietnamese also so I can pretty much understand what she was saying...half the time). She trimmed my nails and cuticles perfectly and did try her best to follow the picture of the design I wanted. It looked so good at first and I thought wow I finally got nails done and usually I'm use to the nail tech double checking the paint on my nails.....but this nail tech obviously didn't double check and kind of rushed me and said okay you can go to the front and pay. However I stopped her and said wait, I'm doing the pedicure too and she had taken a back and was like oh yeah sorry and proceeded to guide me to the chairs in the back. I sat with my sister which was great lol. The same nail tech did turn on the water for me and such and asked eventually asked to put my feet in while the water was running, I was hovering above it for a bit and eventually dipped my feet in it and it was boiling hot. She asked it if was good enough and I said no it's too hot. I wanted to say don't you see the stream coming up?! but didn't and kept my cool and she turned on the cold water immediately. HONESTLY WTF. Thankfully there was another lady that did my pedicure and aww she reminded me of my mom. haha I love that Co! (Aunty). She was super sweet even though she couldn't communicate with me that well in English. I tried to communicate back in Viet but ofc I get so shy and have a slight anxiety when I talk in Viet. Pedicure went great, nice massage and yeah just got a regular nail polish one bc I didn't really care enough about my feet. they are not the best looking feet in my opinion. She did urge me to try to do gel bc it was shinier but ehhh nah I'm not paying an additional fee for gel. sorry. After I got done waiting for the paint to dry, we went to pay the amount. I did found out they do a discount if you do pay in cash. (I kind of figured out why) the whole total came out to be $98 but me being nice i have gave them a $10 tip. I can't say I wouldn't recommend this place but probably won't come back after this.
I've been here more then once and loved it here until my last visit which was yesterday Went and got this simple set and when I showed them an inspo picture they originally said $80 and I assumed because I had a different color on each finger and I ended up putting them all brown don't get me wrong these are cute but these are very short and they're frenchies and they still charged me $80 and when I confronted them about $80 for a basic set like this the lady gave me attitude saying we said this before we started but that's when I had 5 different colors !
This is a brand new nail salon that has the potential to be, and might already be, the best nail salon in Arlington. I've tried many nail salons in the area, and I'm so happy this one opened near the highlands. I followed my girl Tran who opened this salon with her sister after leaving another local salon because she is absolutely the BEST. Every single time my nails are PERFECT. I get dip nails and they last for 2+ weeks without any lifting or chipping. If something looks wrong she will fix it. My nails have never been done this well until I found Tran about a year or 2 ago. Just look at my pictures... her shaping is perfection. If you like a natural looking nail she is the BEST. The salon is so pretty. Clean, elegant, and all the nail techs in here are super nice. It has a friendly and welcoming vibe. You know sometimes the nail techs at salons can be rude? That's not the case here. Family owners!!! They are running a grand opening sale, so hurry up and take advantage of that and try this place out. It's right next to a starbucks too... so you can go and get a drink and bring it in
I've gone to this place about 4-5 times now. The first 2-3 times were great but now the past 2 times I've left disappointed. The techs I've had both times were new and it showed. This most recent one she was filing them into almond and they were lopsided 3 times and I asked every time to file them more and eventually gave up. Then it was a simple green French tip and she was sloppy with those and very finger to finger and just don't look good. I was getting these for a wedding too. She also got gel on my finger. I only gave 2 stars because my sisters both looked good, but still way to overpriced as well. No hate against the artist, I could tell she was new, but if you're gonna use customers as practice than you shouldn't pay as much and ask for help when you need it. I also got simple 1 color gel on my toes and it was $25. Also to reference the nails were $65. Update: my grandma called to complain and after the manager, Tran, saw the pictures she offered us to come in and fix them. They now are much better.
I got a dip set by Tien! The service I received was amazing. She was thorough with my nails and made sure that the shape was what I wanted. She also gave me tips on what kind of dip to choose and what would look best on my nails. She stopped many times to ask me if everything looked okay to my standards and I really appreciated that. The entire salon was clean and great ambiance as well. I definitely recommend coming here.
EDIT - a rep from TopTek did reach out and offer to make it right. While I may return someday for a pedicure, the manicure hasn't even lasted 24 hours before chipping and cracking, despite going out of my way to take care of it. Unfortunately this means I will have to remove it for work, so all in all a waste of money. Avoid the plain polishes for sure. Let me start by saying the pedicure experience in and of itself was wonderful. The spa is clean, they enforced their Covid precautions, and the treatments were fantastic. That said, the polish (particularly the manicure) left a LOT to be desired as you can see in the photos. Ragged edges and ends, some bubbles, weird streaking, polish left on the sides of my toes, etc. Granted it was with plain polish, not gel or dip, but this isn't even the quality I'm able to do at home. It wasn't expensive, but I'm still bummed. The treatment itself makes it worth another shot, but I may take my own polish just to
DO NOT...I REPEAT, DO NOT patronize this establishment! The pictures of the artistic work may make you believe that they will do a decent job but NO! They will slap dip on your nails however way they want, they will put a noticeably crooked tip on your nails and not shape it, they will not fully coat your nails, the nail techs may crowd around you while getting a service as if to make a spectacle, and a tech might even just cut a gash in the side of your finger. Let's not forget try to charge you $70 for a less than mediocre dipping service alone. On top of all that, they will gaslight you and make you think that you SHOULD pay for a slipshod and unprofessional experience. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. First and last time for sure! *Update in Response to owner* The fact that under every negative review you are arguing back and forth is an exact reflection of the customer service at this establishment. To be clear, I was NEVER told a price on my set until the tech started dipping my nails. She tried to charge me $70 because they were "extra long" but I never asked for my nails to be dramatically long. I asked for my nails to be a medium length. She said they had to be a little longer for her to file them down to coffin and then tried to charge me for something I didn't ask for. You should've willingly lowered the price after the nails were cut anyway. She also mentioned that she wanted to go home before she even finished soaking the previous set off. You all are horrible. Yes, I left $80 on the counter to pay for my pedicure and $17 extra to cover that nail tech. You all are lucky I paid for that trash service at all. HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT and the pictures speak for themselves. I asked for a narrow and sharp coffin.
New to TX, but Requested a soak off service. Instead they completed service by removing nails with a tip. Since this is my first time getting this service here, I assumed this is how it is done at shops. I should have asked what their soak off meant before service was performed. Nails are now damaged, wanted to charge me additional (said it was a manicure service) because I wanted a clear coat to cover damage they did. Where I'm from they file and clear coat with service so I guess I have to get use to this not being included in TX. But if you don't care about health of your nail, and are eager to get nails off. Also price was $15 for this. Will not return.
A little disappointed with the end result after reading all the reviews and seeing the great work in pictures. I felt very rushed and they mentioned being short staffed which is totally understandable. Nails are very uneven and have humps in them. Loved the color and I was very forgiving on the shape since they were uneven. Would hope to return with someone else. Loved the vibes and the cleanliness and most people had really nice work. Maybe next time will be better
I got dip powder on my natural nails and I loved it. She was super gentle on my nails and didn't file them down so harshly like other places tend to We didn't have an appointment but we were in and out quick. I will definitely be coming back.

This is my go-to spot. Was having a horrible day and decided to do some self care. Got both pedicure and manicure. Really enjoyed both. These are by far my favorite nails I've ever gotten done before. I got them done nov 3, and here they also are on dec. 13. No lifting or breaks for having them over a month and working a hard labor job. I was thinking of other things that I forgot to get their names but they were so very sweet and attentive to their service. read more

I went to the salon for engagement nails, I asked for a certain acrylic color and length. the guy I had cut my nails shorter than I asked for. making my fingers look stubby. I talked to the manager because I wanted to redo them and get what I asked for instead of uneven, boxy, gel colored nails. checking out, I was charged for both sets. my total ended up being 138$. I added the before and after. there is a big difference. I wish I wouldn't have been charged for 2 sets of nails. instead they should have fixed what they messed up. The manager was also very hostile. Do not recommend this place. read more

I was on a tight schedule and needed a mani/pedi immediately. I ended up coming here after a quick google search and OMG, I'm hooked. Nothing special was done except the most bomb dip powder manicure. Ivy made sure the dip wasn't too thick on my natural nails and I can't express how in love i am. I didnt have time to get my pedicure but plans changed for my day so I'm going back this evening for that! You won't go wrong picking this spot for a little bit of self care! read more

I've been to this salon more than 10 times I absolutely loved this place until this last visit I asked for this full set down below with multicolor ombré she told me a price that was too high and said that if I did one color ombré that it would be cheaper so I agreed I left the picture of what I wanted on my phone the whole entire process while she was doing my nails and she forgets to leave the ombré on both hands she says that she forgot and apologize and says that she'll give me a 5 dollar discount I was nervous to say anything but came back the next day and told them I was dissatisfied with my service and was there something that they could do to fix my nails possibly or give me a higher discount since they messed up the lady told me no rudely and said she would gladly take them off for free or she could add one ombré to one finger for 10$ that's absolutely garbage I kept my cool even tho she was extremely rude I'll never be here ever agin what a shame I loved this place read more

A friend & I visited this salon for the first time day after a previous salon we go to was booked for the day. After seeing some photos & reviews, I decided to give TopTek a try - wrong idea. First off, entering through the door the staff was extremely rude & did not want to acknowledge my friend & I. Also, when I asked for the gel book to see the shade range, I was completely ignored & then rushed to pick a color after being seated since I only had literally 3min to choose. Once seated, the gentleman doing my nails seemed such in a rush or as if he didn't want to service me. My nails are lumpy, bulky, and hurt on the side of my nail bed. I don't understand how this could have been $55? Plus, they don't even tell you when they are finished w/ you, they just get up & leave. My friend was waiting for the cuticle oil (which they didn't do) after her set & the lady said give her a moment & didn't come back; she went to work on someone else. They are extremely poor when it comes to customer service & I feel as a customer that I should be given at least decent service. Terrible. They may have good nail techs but I'm disappointed I wasn't blessed w/ one. Pathetic. read more
