I am in town for an event and needed to get my nails done. Since both my regular nail tech and I are very picky, I was hesitant to try a new spot in a different city. But my "2-weeks past my refill time" nails looked horrible. So after a Yelp search and a confirm from a dear friend, I made my way to this local "fave". When I arrived 20 minutes after opening, it was packed and I immediately second-guessed my decision. But, the "people mover" who greeted me was so friendly and welcoming, I decided to stay. He asked what services I would need and got me seated for a mani-pedi within 5 minutes. My pedi nail tech was super nice and for some reason switched to doing my fingernails while someone else came in to finish my feet. Everything was going well until check out. The friendly neighborhood people mover asked about my experience and then asked to inspect my nails. He turned and said something to another nail tech and then next thing I knew, I was being ushered to another chair to "fix my nails". They didn't look bad to me. I just got a powder dip... nothing special. I was content and had no complaints. Apparently, I'm crazy because they were not letting me leave "like that". So, after 20 minutes, the head tech was happy. She assured me that they check ALL work to make sure customers leave happy and stay happy. They even have a 7 day guarantee. Wow!!! This is the best nail salon experience I've ever had. I will be here whenever I'm in Dallas. Side note: I watched them do BEAUTIFUL nail art of all kinds. When I get brave enough, I will try that out too! read more

I was a walk in looking to get my dang overran nails right. Quick acceptance for gel mani. This shop I will say is not modern at all but friendly. Let me say this basic gel mani was life nail tech really got my cuticles right and let were pretty bad at first Not a whole lot of gel colors to pick from but I notice their speciality is custom paint jobs. I would recommend for a nail job but if u are looking for experience this is not the place. read more

Hit or miss!! One nail tech completely botched my nails. The ONLY nail tech I trust here is Jacqueline. The rest either really suck or are mediocre at best. The shop is old, outdated, and run down. Their pedicures are horrible. They rub your legs more than they tend to your feet. Imagine paying $70 for an upgraded pedicure then discovering dead skin on your feet once you return home. I keep giving this shop a chance even though they continuously disappoint me. read more

As a nyc person visiting this area really needed to do my nails and pedi. Found this place on yelp and beyond happy I did. I wish I was able to find as good a salon in manhattan. In LOVE with my color acrylic full set. Pedi was ok. I did choose a regular, I'm sure if I would have opted for a fancier one I would have been in love with that as well. Cindy is the person to see. LOVED THIS PLACE! I went to DAIZA and had a terrible experience. Ended up coming here to see if they could fix my nails and my goodness is Ana THE BEST! She reshaped and painted them exactly how I wanted. Not only that, she was a whole vibe! Definitely would recommend! read more

I went there for a dip manicure and gel pedicure. The nail techs were incredibly rude and offensive. They upcharged me without my permission. Also, the techs were talking and laughing about me in their language right in front of me. It was blatantly obvious. So $113 CASH plus a $24 tip later; I walked out the door with a half a$$ job. The color that I picked out was a light pink. They did my nails first which was a dark, hot pink and I thought oh well at least it's a shade of pink. Then they did my toes, electric orange and I told them that was not the color that I picked out and they just kept telling me it was a pretty color and to just live with it. Never mind the fact that it's not even a close match or even in the same color family. In addition, she cut all of my toenails a different length and the big toe is not even straight. It was a horrible job . Never again!! I do not recommend!! No I will not be back. I shouldn't have to tell you that your nail tech should be respectful to me as the customer. this is what $113 plus tip bought me. My granddaughter could've done a better job. read more

Waited 40 minutes even though I had an appointment with a particular individual. I waited bc I heard she was amazing. When the water turned on, the temperature was perfectly hot. I didn't have to ask to make it warmer, which was nice. The woman who did my nails was polite and had a decent sense of humor. The foot massage was sadly subpar. Prices are good. I went in with high expectations because of their website, but I left disappointed. As soon as I walked in, the staff member was rude and disrespectful, which made for a bad first impression. They seemed rushed and did a sloppy job overall. They were also extremely strict with their pricing--my friend had an old set with only one nail left, and they refused to do her nails unless she paid to have that one nail removed. It felt unreasonable and unprofessional. read more

I am visiting from California (Bay Area but also live in LA half the year) and I found Collins Nails from the reviews. The service was amazing! Cindy did an amazing job on my dip powder acrylic gel extensions manicure. I showed her my inspo photo - it was a fuchsia to red orange ombré and Cindy perfected it! I wanted this color for Lunar New Year and Valentines Day. Cindy has a great attention to detail and I was very impressed with how she took care to make sure it was perfect for me. She asked me multiple times if it was good for me during the process and I corrected a few things I wanted her to adjust. Communication is key and I'm so happy I found this place. She was really great to talk to as well everyone in the shop was so kind and friendly and they gave me a lot of food recs and activities since it's around Lunar New Year and I want to eat some good Vietnamese food in the area (since I'm visiting). I also am very happy with my gel pedicure! I got the Pasadise package with Peppermint. It was so relaxing and my nail tech was so friendly and took her time and made sure I was comfortable. The environment was clean. I am so glad they were able to take me as a walk in (I did call in advance). I will definitely go back here when I'm in town! Prices were $85 for dip powder manicure, with added extensions and ombré design. Extensions are acrylic gel. $65 for gel pedicure Paradise package. When you walk in there's a form to fill out with the information on what you want before you actually get your service. Make sure to ask for the total price if you're not sure. read more

Requested two services - nails and waxing. Let's start with the nails - I showed a couple of pictures of what wanted and it was DONE. They offered what they called "colored powder" which I never heard of before - and it was perfectly what I wanted. They delivered again on the waxing. Introduced me to an "under lip" wax which really defines my lips very well. I'd never heard of this before, and I will do it again! Definitely adding it to my self care beautification repertoire. :-) These folks have never let me down. I really like the quality of their services. I work in the airline industry and our nails must always be groomed well. Two new coworkers who just relocated to DFW will begin getting their nails done at Collins Nail Salon. I went to this place in the morning, around 10:30am after finding it on here (yelp) the night before. Saw all the good reviews and decided to check it out since I don't have a regular nail salon I go to. Well I was immediately sat down which was great! I asked for a coffin shaped pink and white ombré and the first lady who started on my nails somehow messed up? I'm not entirely sure what happened but after doing the dip powder on my right hand, she decided to start all over again and proceeded to cover my nails with acetone soaked cotton inside some foil. I actually respect the fact that she was willing to start over because anybody else could've decided to just keep it the way it was just to get me outta there so thank you to her (I wish I had caught her name) After that, someone else filled in for her and started all over again and she did an AMAZING job. I love the blend of the ombré, the shape is exactly what I was wanting and it was decently priced for what I got. The actual salon is just a little bit small but it was super cute and it seemed to attract good customers so I'm very happy I gave it a shot! I've decided that this will be the salon I go to now anytime I need my nails done. read more

I came in today for a pedicure and manicure before having my first baby. It was one last chance to do some self care and pampering. The greeting was warm and they were quick to get me in a chair. The lovely lady who worked on my feet, I remember her name started with a D, was super sweet and gentle. Amazing massage that lasted for ages( my swollen pregnant feet are still singing). She was quick but also took her time to make me feel important. The wonderful woman doing my nails was efficient and skilled, always taking into account how comfortable I was. The prices were very reasonable and I hope one day to visit again. Excellent place and worth a visit!!! read more

Classic manicure almond shaped with clear pink polish, they cut ur cuticles, lotion and massage your arm/hand, the clear polish took 5 minuted to dry. Fairly priced at 25 dollars, I walked in without an appointment and was out of here in 40 minutes. Nice staff that communicated with me clearly about the different options. The place is a bit small but cosy. My only complaint was that she did the massage with the same gloves that she used while filing my nails so the nail dust was also part of the lotion massage so it didn't feel as clean, and the towel under my hands for the filing and shaping portion of the manicure was not clean and i could see nail dust on it but it did not touch me so it didn't affect me, just the aesthetics of the place. Next time i would just ask her to switch gloves when giving me a massage with the lotion as to not mix the lotion with the nail dust already on the glove. read more

I have never had a nude set of nails and have only recently really liked a longer length of nails. So it was wonderful that Cindy was able to help me out and fix my nails up great. Dream listens to me and threads my brows exactly how I request. There has never been a long wait and the service is effective and efficient (meaning they don't take forever, but they don't speed through without being detailed). We ended up connecting over Pregnancy Nutrition since I'm a Dietitian. Lei and Desiree took very good care of us, considering our trouble spots and where we might be more sensitive to deep tissue massage. The rooms were very clean and the girls were super friendly and professional. We really hated for the hour to end! I plan to go back any time I am in the Arlington/Grand Prairie area.

The lady who did my feet was absolutely perfect, and my experience with her was great. However, the woman who did my nails was honestly very unprofessional. She repeatedly kept asking me if I wanted gel polish instead, and after I said no, it felt like she became rough and careless with my nails. I still have clear polish left on my skin, my nails are bumpy and streaky, and the white polish looks uneven. I've gotten white nails before many times, and they've never looked like this. The polish has already chipped in multiple places, and some sides of the nails barely even have polish on them. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the pedicure service was wonderful, but the manicure quality was unfortunately less than mediocre.
