When I moved to Mansfield I kept driving out of town to my old salon just to get my nails done and one day I was in a pinch and tried Aurora. Typically I have terrible experiences at big/beautiful salons, but I can honestly say that my experiences have been flawless since day one. Each technician I've seen has been perfect (customer service to quality of nails). I've never left there unhappy or with a flaw. I know management has high expectations for their employees and it's so appreciated and recognized! Had a specific reference photo that i showed to the staff. all i said was that i did not want the chrome polish and i wanted the cherry cat eye design with french tips and almond shape. however, when the lady started polishing my nails, she painted the full nail red with more of a stiletto shape. i understand how there could be a slight miscommunication, but the nails were horrible and i paid full price for the service. i ended up going back the next day to fix them, but one of the cherries are messed up and the thumb is chipped. read more

‼‼BEWARE‼ Be careful when getting checked out at this place & make sure to check your receipt. They are definitely scamming you with additional charges! I've been coming to this nail salon for months and getting the same thing several times but today was the first time they charged me like this. I honestly thought I finally found a nail salon that I liked but I was so disappointed today. When trying to ask about the additional charges the girl in the front dismissed me by saying "I don't know, that's what the nail tech is charging you!" She looked very annoyed but I was just trying to understand why the price was different than all the other times I had been there. 1st issue: I went for a builder gel fill and was charged $65. Last time I got my nails done, the nail tech told me they would be $55 the next time I came in for a fill. 2nd issue: I was charged an extra $5 for a cut down. I always keep my nails at sports length so being charged extra for a cut down was ridiculous because my nails were not long to begin with. 3rd issue: I was charged an extra $5 for shaping. I did not ask for any type of extra shaping. I walked in with my nails already squared shaped. If I would have received extra services then I would gladly pay for them but that's not the case. It was a complete scam! I will not get my nails done here again! The only reason why I am giving them 2 stars is because the ladies doing the pedicures do an amazing job! Received a basic pedicure. I had a fresh tattoo and they were accommodated the other leg by regulating their water. However, when she asked if I wanted lotion on that leg I said no 2x and lotion was put on leg around tattoo. I should have received a leg massage and I jokingly said just do double on the other leg. I did not receive a leg massage at all . This is my favorite part. The polish I chose was not good-they brought different ones and I picked one I liked. I put on my finger nail to test and it was not offered to remove. Maybe my mistake for not asking but it was obvious. The place is very large and they have a big selection for colors. The massage chair is fantastic. She also gave recommendations on how to take care of a tattoo - Vaseline-just Google it -DO NOT USE! I absolutely do not recommend this salon to anyone. My friend and I went in for a mani-pedi, expecting a nice, relaxing experience, but instead, we were met with nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we walked in, the place had a strange, musty smell, almost like mold. I honestly thought it was just an off-putting cleaning product, but as we sat down, it became clear that it was something much worse. The air felt heavy, and there was a distinct damp, moldy odor lingering throughout the salon. It made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and left me wondering how they could let a place in such poor condition stay open to the public. To make matters worse, I had made a specific request when booking, asking for a technician with certain experience because I have sensitive cuticles and thick nails. I was ignored and placed with someone who clearly had no idea how to handle nails properly. She was rough, unprofessional, and constantly sighed when I asked her to make adjustments. At one point, she was filing my nails so aggressively that I actually flinched in pain. When I told her, she laughed. When it was time for the polish, she didn't even bother to smooth it out. It was uneven and smudged everywhere. To top it all off, the technician didn't take the time to ensure that my nails were aligned or shaped properly. I left with nails that were not only painful but also embarrassingly uneven. I have to go to a new place to fix now. My friend had it even worse. Her nails were crooked from the start, and when we asked the technician to fix them, she completely ignored us. We sat there for an hour while she rushed through her work, chatting with other staff members about random gossip, while my friend's nails just sat crooked and unpolished. It was honestly absurd. And the worst part? We both had the same feeling of being treated like an inconvenience. Also the actual nail experience was SO RUSHED! They just want to get you out as fast as possible to get to the next cash grab. The whole experience felt rushed and careless. The staff was unprofessional, the place reeked of mold, and the nail service was subpar at best. Feels like a tacky mansion where the family ignores you. First I'll say the salon is clean and very nice. I made an appointment for a fill and a polish change to only show up to the lady at the front desk acting like I bothered her by coming in and not filling out the form she handed me quick enough. I was also completely shocked when she told me that a gel polish CHANGE for my toes is $30! I politely told her I'll just cancel my appointment. This request was completely disregarded, and I was placed with whoever was available. Mary, the technician assigned to me, made her annoyance obvious--sighing whenever I asked her to correctly position my tips. Having gotten my nails done for over 20 years, I know exactly what works for me. At one point, she even filed into the side of my nail where I had a cut, causing unnecessary pain. When it was time for polish, the service felt rushed to the point of being careless. The overall quality of her work was well below professional standards. To make matters worse, the technician who worked on my daughter ignored our request to fix a crooked nail. This was not the relaxing, quality experience I had hoped for. My friends had recommended that I go here for my manicure. It's close to home so I thought I would give its try. I got the builder gel and after a week it started to lift and some of the polish cracked. I went back to get it fixed. The girl at the front desk didn't seem happy that I came back to get them fixed. She was short with glasses. So before I leave she tells me "as a courtesy I won't charge you this time" but next time I have to charge you as it's been 7 days. I told her my nails always last at least 4-5 weeks builder gel shouldn't lift after 6 days. After all I spent over $100 on a manicure. She argued with me that I didn't spend that much. It kept going back and forth with her saying that the system doesn't show me spending that much. I ended up having to log in to my online banking to show her the receipt to prove that I did spend that much. I shouldn't have to explain myself to this extent. I felt embarrassed as other customers were sitting listening to what was going on. I definitely will not be back again. Such bad customer service. The salon was clean, and I was able to get a manicure without waiting so that was a positive. However, I had a nail tech that seemed to rush through the entire process. I explained to her that I wanted a specific shape and I had reference pictures, but when she was shaping the nails they were too long. I told her that I wanted them shorter for work and she disagreed, then continued doing them the same way. At the end of my service, she just seemed pretty annoyed with me, even though I accepted that I didn't get what I wanted. I just wanted to leave so I paid and left. I love getting spoil at the nail salon but I also look at the sanitation they have and not so happy with this place. The places is beautiful and well decorated, staff are nice but sanitation keeps me away. I also didn't like the fact that I paid over $40 for a manicure and I felt rushed. It's not like there was lots of ppl waiting for the manicurist to rushed me out.
