They were talking to each other and not in English and then looking at my feet when I asked him to work on my heel a little better . I was referred to this nail salon by a friend. The atmosphere was nice, and my initial nail tech was friendly--I was even offered a drink (which I declined). At first, I didn't like the color I chose, so I asked to switch to pink. Unfortunately, once he finished, I still wasn't happy with how they turned out. Under better lighting, my nails looked bulky--almost like chunky veneers. I went back to ask for a refund or to have them removed, but the staff said they couldn't issue a refund because they "didn't have authority to open the drawer." Even after I asked to speak with the owner, I was told they were "too busy to talk," though they did answer the phone when the front desk called. Thankfully, a lady named Judy stepped in and kindly fixed my nails. Overall, if you're thinking about trying Sky High Nails Spa, I'd recommend considering another salon instead. read more

Second time I've been here and today I had employee Cindy she didn't speak to me at all. Acted like maybe she didn't know what she was doing? She kept looking around and didn't pay detail to what she was doing. The hot towels she just got them straight out of the warmer and onto my skin.Normally they ask you if you want something to drink nothing.. Honestly the only reason this place has 5 star reviews is because they have a sign when you walk in that you'll get 5% off your service if you write them a 5 star review. I've been here multiple times and I have made an appt with days in advanced. I come in for my appt and I'm always made to wait 30 minutes or more!! I have a busy schedule and I plan around this and the front lady does not care at all. I'm visibly upset and they don't care at all when as a "company" you should be accommodating the client since we give you business. This is a horrible service. Completely unacceptable. Do better! I saw this place recently opened, so I decided to check it out. The salon itself looks really nice and clean inside. I liked that the pedicure chairs had built in remotes on the armrests (not attached by a wire), I hadn't seen that before. Also, there was a woman who went around cleaning the chairs between customers. I asked for a regular cucumber pedicure and a cucumber dip manicure. The guy at the front (maybe the manager/owner) said the wait would be about 10-15 minutes. I came as a walk-in, so that was not a big deal. I ended up waiting 30 minutes to be seated and when I walked around, they really weren't very busy, so that was strange to me. Once I sat down in the pedicure chair, the water was lukewarm and the nail tech didn't show up for another 30 minutes. I had considered leaving before she arrived, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I asked the manager to increase the temperature and he did so willingly, but the heat only lasted for about 5 minutes then it was back to lukewarm. When the nail tech finally arrived, she seemed preoccupied. At one point, she got up to retrieve a cell phone from another nail tech and engaged in conversation on the phone, then was texting someone. The tools she was using were not prepackaged and they definitely looked used. I just said a quick prayer against any bacteria or infections as she got to work. The nail tech sloppily filed my nails, as if she really did not want to be working at that time. All of this is taking an incredibly long time. I kept telling myself the end result would make up for it. All the while, no one has come to start the manicure. She attempted to give me a gel pedicure, so I politely informed her I asked for regular. She appeared annoyed as she removed the gel and hurriedly applied the color I asked for...WITHOUT A BASE COAT. The leg massage was nonexistent. At this point, 2 hours have passed and I'm just ready to leave so I didn't even mention it. When she was finished, she did not apply a clear top coat. I was annoyed at that point, so I said I'd just do it at home or get it re-done by my usual nail tech. When I went to check out, the manager noticed I didn't have a manicure, so he asked about it and I did tell him it took way too long. He gave me a discount, which was thoughtful, but I most definitely will not return. I acknowledge that my experience was only with ONE of the techs, and it's likely that there are others who have better service working there. I did notice, though, that a woman was getting a manicure across from me and her manicure also took 2 hours. My guess is the nail techs may be new and still perfecting their crafts and that is the reason for the extensive completion times. Regardless, it felt like a waste of time and money for me, and the end result was certainly not worth it. Two stars for appearance of the facility and pleasantness of the owner/manager. read more

Went in 3 times no one waiting very few people in chairs. Maybe 3 or 4. First time they said it would be over and hour wait and if I could come back tomorrow. Went back he said he was under staffed. Went back the 3rd time about 4:30p on Wednesday with my daughter her services would have been well over $130 based on the price menu and my services at least $95. He had me wait maybe 5 mins to then say they were understaffed if I could come back the following morning. Sad for a new business to operate so inefficiently weeks within opening. Especially charging such high prices as if the experience would justify that. My guess is they won't make it long at this location being "under staffed" so often and "overpriced". I am speaking on EXPERIENCE not services. We never got to that point. read more

Don't go here if you want a good set of nails. It was my first time going here. They were trying to up sale right away as I was walking in the door asking what I wanted. After sitting down & stating that I wanted polish I was told "you don't get polish you want gel or dip, no polish" how are you going to tell me what I prefer? Then after asking the shape I wanted I said square, the lady kept rounding them. Every nail looked crooked & a different shape. At one point I asked for the file myself to try to fix them but after doing so she went behind me & rounded them AGAIN! She finished & they looked to be somewhat ok until I walked outside & the sun hit them & you could see all the imperfections. I was not satisfied at all. I walked back inside asked if they could soak off & I could get a refund, he stated yes & to sit down. Once sitting down they tried to fix them instead of soaking them off saying it would take too long. The man then changed what he said in the beginning & said they would not be able to give me a refund. They were getting loud talking to each other across the room over me & all I asked was for a refund because my nails looked horrible. I will not be going back to this place ever again. First time visiting for a pedicure. Literally, the worst pedicure experience I have had. The massage was mediocre and felt the experience was rushed despite them not being busy at the time. They forgot my drink twice then when I asked for a refill they forgot again. I believe I was just ignored. They could have told me there is a limit to one drink instead of repeatedly ignoring me. Normally when I get a pedicure I feel a since of relaxation and rejuvenation to my legs and feet. I left feeling like I got some cold water splashed on my legs. This was an $100+ pedicure with gel polish. Disappointing to spend time and money on a poor quality service. The paint job was good and the aesthetics is nice. I wouldn't get a pedicure here again. But maybe come back for a quick polish if needed. Maybe focus more on quality and customer service. read more

New spot opened and I was excited to give them a try. I've hit most of the nail spots on or near 161. Me and my mom walked in just for a polish change on our toes because we had gotten pedicures not long ago and my darling 3yo daughter was not gonna wait on a full pedicure. We had gotten pedicures a couple of weeks prior. The guy at the front desk was kinda annoyed that we only wanted gel polish change.. which was $$$25. He seated us in like 2 mins and the lady who did my polish change was NOT nice at all. I'm guessing she wanted someone paying more for services to get a bigger tip...but anyhoo... she had 'resting baby face' (wink wink) the entire time and she seemed very annoyed with my child because she was sitting on my lap.
