If you do they WILL NOT give you a student discount. We told Jenny at checkout that we qualified for the student discount and she said she can't because we were signed in under the same number and repeatedly told us to try next time. (Keep in mind she wasn't at the front when we walked in to help tell us how this student discount worked... so we signed in together like we usually did.) Would have given 0 stars but didn't allow me too , I went in to get my eyebrows cleaned up that is all and when the lady showed me the end result I noticed that she took off to much and both my eye brows were uneven she made one really really short. I had a wedding to attend too I was extremely devastated , I told her she took off to much and I didn't get an apology or anything she just said it will grown back . The lack of empathy and ownership was appalling, I am still highly upset at the way I was treated and was not issued an apology she literally messed up my eyebrows horribly, I would not recommend anyone frequent this horrible business!! For years I have gone to nail salons to get my eyebrows waxed with mixed results. Some salons have nail techs who have beautifully shaped my eyebrows while other experiences at other salons have left me with some seriously jacked up eyebrows. You know what they say about people with messed up eyebrows: don't trust them. After a couple of misses with other salons, I decided to give Styles of India a chance. My friends have been going to Styles of India for over 10 years, so I figured it couldn't be too painful. Plus their eyebrows always looked amazing so my experience couldn't be too much different, right? This place is super cool. You walk in, check in at the computer kiosk near the register, and then have a seat until your turn comes. I waited for about 30 minutes, which was understandable because it was the day before school started. Everybody and their mom was in there trying to get their eyebrows on fleek. My turn finally came and I made my way to the chair. I told the lady what I wanted and she got to work. My eyebrows turned out great and I'm elated because I've found a new place that is close to my house with reasonable prices and beautiful results. I am very disappointed in my experience here. I just moved to Texas and have been going to a place in Arlington. It was further away but the ladies were nice and they did a good job. I stopped in here bc it was closer and other people I know go here. First of all, it is expensive!! I was paying $8 for eyebrows and upper lip in New Jersey and then $12 at the place in Arlington. Here they charge $16! I was willing to pay this time for the convenience, so I sat down. The lady who did my eyebrows went so quickly and it hurt a lot! I wouldn't have minded except that she totally changed the shape of my eyebrows!! I have a fairly nice natural eyebrow shape but I like to clean up once in a while. She completely removed like 2 rows of hair and now my eyebrows are much higher than before!! To make it worse - She was so rough doing my upper lip that I had to ask her to stop because it hurt. The people there were nice and maybe higher eyebrows is the thing now. If they weren't so expensive and I didn't have scabs from where my hair was pulled out, I might go back. But it is not worth it to me! read more

Felt very unwelcomed. I was typing in my name, the woman behind the counter was just staring at me. I said, "Hi, how are you?" She begrudgingly responded, "Fine," and didn't ask me a thing. I should have walked out then. ALWAYS TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. It did not seem as if she wanted me as a customer, so I won't be going back here. Instead I'll be going to Candee skin in DeSoto. I'll spend my money where I am appreciated and people are friendly. I will say even though it seemed that she really did not want to do my eyebrows they came out well. Went here for the first time yesterday (June 5) after seeing this location on the way to the post office. Now, usually, I would never in a million years diss my trusted eyebrow threading lady I have been going to for a few years now, but this day I was in a rush and needed something closer to home, so I made a trip to SOI Grand Prairie. It was early afternoon so I was the only customer there, and was seated right after I checked in. The place has plenty of room and is nice and cozy looking, they even sell some Indian style apparel and accessories. There are many mirrors around and lighting is perfect. I forgot the name of the younger lady who did my eyebrows, but she did an absolutely spectacular job. I am an eyebrow diva, and I have mini freakouts if my eyebrows aren't perfect, but I was very impressed. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure I'll be switching to this Styles of India location as opposed to the one in Arlington or the Just Stringz at the Parks Mall. Eyebrow threading cost me $10 not including tip. If you're close to this location, give them a try! read more

I just left after getting my eyebrows and upper lip done....... I got them done by whoever was available. I don't know who the lady was that did my stuff but she sucked! One of my eyebrows are thinner than the other, and she pulled some skin! I still have hair under my eyebrows and on my upper lip! All in which are very obvious!!!! And she did everything so slow!!! I am beyond upset because I usually come here and they usually do a good job. But today was something else. I will be going back asking for a refund because this is not acceptable. read more

They have been bringing new girls the past couple months and none of them know what they're doing. my eyebrows used to be thick and when I left they became so thin and one is defiantly higher than the other. Clearly some of the girls don't know what they're doing or they didn't train them right or they're learning on clients. I DO NOT recommend coming here. read more

This location is decorated with the Indian accents, but they were able to get me in an out in about 20 minutes on a Saturday afternoon (no appointment). They did a very good job on the brows.
