I will not be returning to SkyHigh Nails Spa…read more When my wife and I first walked in, everyone was friendly and welcoming. They offered us drinks, my wife got a Sprite and I asked for water. Everything seemed fine until we took our shoes off for our pedicures. Yes, my toenails were long. My wife's toenails needed to be cut as well. That's part of the reason we came in for pedicures in the first place. Once they saw my feet, the entire attitude changed. The lady doing my pedicure became visibly frustrated, and throughout the service they repeatedly talked about how bad my feet and toenails were. I paid around $80 for my pedicure and my wife's was around $70, yet instead of feeling like paying customers being taken care of, we both felt embarrassed and uncomfortable. I even tried starting a friendly conversation with the lady doing my feet. She gave me a quick answer, turned away, and continued talking with the others about my feet. At the end, she made another comment telling me that I needed to come in once a month so my toenails wouldn't get that long. I understand recommending regular pedicures. I have no problem with someone professionally telling me that I should come in more often. What I do have a problem with is paying good money for a service and being made to feel ashamed for needing that service. People come to nail salons because their feet and nails need attention. Not everyone's feet are going to look perfect when they walk through the door. A professional should be able to provide the service without making the customer feel judged, embarrassed, or like they're an inconvenience. We walked in feeling welcomed and walked out feeling humiliated and uncomfortable. After spending roughly $150 between the two of us, I expected much better customer service and professionalism. I will not be back.

During my visit, I had an issue with the technician who did a pedicure on me and we added a few…read morenail extensions to fix my broken nails and make them even. Well she made the extensions on my toes excessively thick, causing discomfort whenever I walk. When I politely asked her to fix her work, she responded in a loud and confrontational manner, questioning why I didn't inform her of my dissatisfaction earlier. Then being rough with me. So I just told her it was okay. To be honest, I wasn't too picky initially, but the pain was bothersome when I started to walk. I also want to mentions that the girl sitting next to me was getting a pedicure despite having extremely crusted feet with deep open wounds. The salon initially informed her that they couldn't provide the service due to the risk of spreading infections, which is in line with licensing and regulations. However, against their own advice, they ended up proceeding with the pedicure anyways. This negligence not only puts the girl at risk but also creates a potential health hazard for others. I would stay away from an establishment like this.

The Good, the awkward the bad and ugly. I visited for head…read morespa service around Jan 20th. The facility is so beautiful and clean. I wanted a relaxing headspa service. Iv had them before at other places with no problems. They gave me a towel to wear and I got on the table. The lady began the service. She was ..ok bit not exactly relaxing. Then she had to move a piece of equipment or furniture and all I heard was thing clanking hitting the walls etc. it was slightly comical because my eyes were covered. Astter the head service I go across the hall and 2 ladies begin to try and brush out my hair.. then 3 then they send me back to the table telling me it's tangled not to worry. I of course begin to worry. It is getting slightly painful from the pulling at this point. When we get back to the blow dry chair many ladies and the managers were in there. I'm now in tears so overwhelmed. I had beautiful long hair I'd grown for years. I'd gon for the first bit of me time in awhile and felt awful. The ladies requested to just cut the knot out. I said no I'd have my salon do it. When I got home I saw the knot was actually matted. I went to my salon the next day and they had to cut my hair. From low back length to almost shoulder length to even it out. The Salon did not charge me gave me a gift card I will use on a nail service and paid for my hair cut. Please be careful with head spas.
