Tony took care of my pedicure right away and he did an excellent job, and I really appreciated that he gave me plenty of time to let my toes dry properly without feeling rushed. Ivy handled my French dip, and she was fantastic. She was gentle, attentive, and really listened to what I wanted. I was going for a more natural look and Ivy's recommendations and color matches were spot on. The final result turned out really beautiful. The salon itself is very clean and thoughtfully decorated and stylish without feeling overwhelming or overstimulating. The staff across the board were polite, friendly, and clearly focused on providing great service to every customer. I went in for a pedi and full set French tip. My full set is ugly, I had them do it twice the first time the guy who did them was shaky and said "oh it's not that bad from far away". When I said you're joking right? I'm the one paying for this so please fix it. They had someone try to fix it and the whites are still of center and crooked. I was there over 2 hours. I said I hated them, I paid $120+ went to my car to cry, and when I came back not even 5 minutes later I simply asked they fix it or refund me. They refused, and then threaten to call the police because I was "too loud". RUN AWAY! I went for a pedicure. Nail technician made a poor first impression reeking of cigarette smoke. Thats ok, feet don't smell nice either. But when he started scraping at the top of my foot with the nail file until I yelped in pain and it was bleeding, I asked him to have someone come over who spoke English. When I asked why he did that, he said he was getting a callous. When I mentioned he made me bleed he lied saying there was already a scratch there. I had been here once before and it was kind of disorganized, but it is so much better now! This is a very large salon that is clean. There is a full bar, which is awesome. They do have a lot of staff, so I did not have to wait. You can make an apt or do a walk in. I got dip nails with tips while I was there, as well as eyebrows. I have came here for a year on and off . Mostly was content .. I don't get any crazy designs or anything but would generally stick to a tip with dip and pedicure milk and honey every time. The work and effort is sooo inconsistent. This day was very off for them . I had to stop an employee from continuing work . She had applied my tip for this set then I mentioned it was very short from my inspiration pic . Then she reapplied another set of tips and as I was looking up I noticed they managed to be as short as the first ones as well as uneven filing . I asked if we were done with the filing or was she going to fix them and she said yes she was done . I am one of those people that NEVER speak up but the shaping was awful. I asked for someone else to come and fix them and she immediately packed her things up and left . The what I believe to be a manager of some sort (long balayage blonde hair younger looking one ) came over and proceeded to ask what was wrong I showed her the pic and said they aren't bad but that's not what I want . All in all this is the result . What do you think? Would you have tipped ? The polish all over my nails is the start of it . The white is uneven , the shaping is better than when she took over but still off . I will attach my inspiration pic . Like I said it's Russian roulette on whether I will get good nails and service . But after today I won't be going back to this shop . I live in the Viridian neighborhood so it suck's it was very convenient but it's not worth the unhappy feeling for 65$ nails . They need to step their game up, using outdated techniques and giving cheap "ombres" with nail polish instead of acrylic. My nail chipped hours after getting them done here and I was EXTREMELY dissatisfied with my experience here to say the least. They had one lady working on my nails, then a guy came and helped her so she did my right hand and he did my left. I ain't never been cut so many times while getting my nails done before until I came to this place. They cut me so many times that I started praying and asking God not to let them cut me anymore. Welp, those prayers didn't get answered because the accidental cuts continued. Then they transferred me to another seat so another guy could do the "ombre" and he pulls out some tool that sprayed white polish on the tips of the nails. I personally didn't like it bc it left white specs on the pink part of the nail and it wasn't as polished-looking as an acrylic ombre, it looked a little cheap. I let him know that I was expecting an acrylic ombre instead. He insisted that I take that even though I told him that I didn't like it. I was so fed up after telling him what I wanted and him not delivering that I just threw in the towel and told him to finish so I can leave. Never in my life have I been to a nail salon and didn't tip the nail tech, until I came here. And never have I left a nail salon as unhappy as I did this one. I was gifted a "spa package" that included a facial, massage, manicure, and pedicure. The facial was fine. The "fully body" massage was mortifying and uncomfortable. There wasn't a cradle for my face on the massage table, so I had to lie on my stomach with my head turned, which made it impossible to relax. She focused a lot on my BARE butt and thighs. My vagina and breasts were exposed a few times. She massaged my bare stomach (which I have never experienced before). My feet were never touched at all. Then she wiped all of the lotion off at the end with cold, wet towels. After that, I just wanted to get my mani/pedi and get out of there. I was not asked to pick out a color- the tech doing my toes just asked what sort of color I would like, so i told him beige. The mani/pedi was extremely rushed as evidenced by the photo attached. She was using the smoother machine (sorry don't know the right term) and cut me. I had told her and the gentleman who worked on my feet prior that I was diabetic so they need to be extra careful. She cut my thumb and only put hydrogen peroxide on it. They continued to charge me the full amount of $100 and even after I asked for a little bit off because of the cut, he kept putting my card in. The lady had my water scolding hot even after telling her it was hot. Then when she saw my nails had gel polish on oh that's an extra $5 to take off. Then as she's taking it off with her tool she's smashing my cuticles and jamming it on my toenails. Then the service package I got she went so fast I didn't enjoy any of it. She scolding hot towels on my legs. Usually they should shook out and then placed on your legs. Nope she didn't do that. The polish was the kicker. She didn't know how to polish. You can tell when someone knows what they're doing she didn't. After she was done it looked a little decent. I get home and look at my feet and my 3 year old niece could've done better. Very friendly staff! Currently there is some remodeling going on but the work is done after hours so the relaxing atmosphere stays intact for customers. Nice calming music and I love the cloud painted ceiling. My pedicures have been very good here. All the nail techs I have had the past 6 months are very talented and can creates most any design for adornment. I also have been getting my hair shampoos and styling done here too. Great pedicures... the deluxe options (typically $45.00) are an hour, include the full pedi, exfoliation, mask, wrap, paraffin and of course the massage with hot stones. Love the milk and honey and the green tea. These are my two favorites. Don't go for the $5.00 upgrade as that just includes a snack aka crackers and one of those scented heat up packs you put on your neck. No thanks. I'm a loyal nail client. Every 2-3 weeks for a full set and a pedicure every other time. I only see one nail tech for my full set, his name is Johnathon. He is so talented. Never had a broken nail, nothing is ever uneven, and he never tries to talk me into something I don't need. I always schedule my next appt (I'm a hair stylist so pre booking is very important to me). He's so accommodating if I'm getting a pedi and he'll start soaking my nails while I get my toes worked on (which I'm sure is not ideal to work on hands at a pedi throne instead of a comfortable nail table) so that I'm not here for hours. He's quick and consistent. I've had a couple different women do my pedicures and it's been perfect every time. They have a large selection of luxury pedicure options and I always opt for the 1hr one that comes with 20 minute leg and foot massage, parafin dip, and hot stone massage. My feet are spoiled! I'm standing all day 5 days a week and I prefer open toed shoes and I can always confidently show off my beautifully manicured feet! It's a quick 12 minute drive from my house in hurst to this salon, and I'll be coming here exclusively from now on. read more
