I had an appointment with Kevin who has always done a great job. He hadn't quite finished with his previous client so Holly was prepping my nails in preparation for when Kevin would be done with his service. Holly was extremely rough and aggressive with the nail file and after I let her know that she had injured my finger and that it was bleeding, she placed a cotton ball on it and wanted me to go ahead and soak my nails in acetone to which I declined. Holly did not apologize, she just smiled and was speaking to the other nail technicians in her native language and continued on to her next task. This is the second incident at this nail salon. The owner was very apologetic when I told her about the incident. The salon is very clean, is located in great location, and Cindy and Kevin have done a phenomenal job on my nails in the past and on my visit today. However, this is the second incident where I have been injured while the nail technicians are either super aggressive or talking to each other and not paying attention while operating the electrical equipment as it happened in my other incident. If you do get your nails done here, and you do not want to be injured, I definitely recommend requesting for Kevin or Cindy. I definitely do not recommend Holly or the technician that has a cute bob. She was the one that injured my thumb with the electrical nail file. read more

I don't want to write a long review, but I wanted to share a bit of what we experienced. This was supposed to be a first nail spa day, and it just didn't go the way we expected. At one point, a male staff member stepped in while manager was already working and took over pretty abruptly. The conversation didn't help either. Simple questions about designs turned into a back-and-forth that felt more like a warning about payment than a normal interaction. It just set the wrong tone. I didn't have a good experience at this nail bar. I chose to go because it's nearby and looked nice. The biggest issue was that I asked for a design on my nails, showed the picture of what I wanted to both the receptionist and nail tech, and both women said they could do the design. Unfortunately, the nail tech painted my nails and told me she was done. I was super confused and asked if she would still be doing the design. She said she "didn't see" the design in the picture I showed her. This made me upset mainly because it doesn't make any sense. Why would I show you a picture if I only wanted my nails painted a solid color? Why would you say you could do something (without asking any clarifying questions) if you didn't understand what I was asking for? On any other day, I might have shrugged it off but she asked me to pay before she painted my nails so that I "didn't mess them up while trying to pay," and I was celebrating my birthday, which I didn't tell them but that's a big part of why I was so dead set on getting the design I wanted. The design was super simple, by the way: nude pink color with a line in the middle, half gold, half white. After I pulled up the picture again and pointed this out, the tech attempted the design. Unfortunately, she rushing and, in doing so, butchering the design. The lines were painted crookedly. On one nail she accidentally smeared the gold polish, so it look less like a line and more like a squiggle. She did one hand and asked me my opinion. They looked bad, and I wanted my nails to look nice for my birthday, so I told her I still wasn't happy with it. We agreed to just scrap the whole idea; she removed the paint, and I chose a new color. While I was happy with the color I chose in the end, the nail tech never apologized for the misunderstanding, and I felt very frustrated by the entire visit. The work is excellent but they have no management whatsoever. Half the time the phones aren't even answered. If you get a voicemail the call isn't returned. Today was the final straw. I made an appointment for 4 pm and they asked my name and telephone number so I thought they had improved their process. WRONG! I got there at 3:45 and was told I didn't have an appointment but I could come back at 5. He argued with me that he had no call from me. I pulled my phone out and showed him their name in my caller ID where I called and made the appointment at 1:53. They charge almost double the going rate which I have paid because I like the quality of their manicures and pedicures. If you are going to pay more you should expect more, and get it. I have sat and waited countless times because they cannot seem to make an appointment and keep it within an hour of the scheduled time. I'm tired of all the fails here. I was told the price was 55 and then it became 65 for dip set when I didn't get dip. Will not be coming back. UPDATE: not even a day later 2 of my nails have broke. Ann put the thinnest layer of acrylic on my nails and charged me for a dipset that I didn't get. She blamed it on the fact that I was getting my toes done as well and was not able to sit at the nail counter. I let her know that one of my tips were cracked and she dismissed my concern, a few days later the tip chipped off! I had to go back and have it fixed and I was not greeted at the door, I had to yell what I needed across the room. The lady who fixed it was nice.
