I'll let my picture speak for itself. Not pleased with my $35 dip set. The girl who did my pedicure did a good job, but the vibe of the whole place is off.
This is some ridiculous shit for $55. I paid $85 total with a pedicure. The quality is NOT worth is for the quantity. I'm so pissed. Yes, they are nice. Yes, the offer refreshments and shit. But I don't go in there for people to be nice to me and do me a favor. I want a damn good mani and pedi that I'm gonna PAY for. These are the worst nails I've ever had.
So pleased! I moved to Arlington from Los Angeles five months ago and still found ways to get back to my home salon in California for months. After much looking to find a local, quality, creative, professional, I found Katie. Friendly and helpful is great, but the her quality is spectacular. Love my gel granite ombré. Three weeks later and I returned to Katie. Even better the second time! Update - just keeps getting better! So fun and creative. This months nails are unique. Kind of a reverse 3-d, with sparkly rhinestones below the surface instead of on top. Subtle and cool!
I will not be back to this nail salon. I arrived on a Friday afternoon and waited about 20 minutes. There were more people here than I expected for a Friday afternoon. I wanted a simple manicure with clear nail polish and a gel polish pedicure. I don't get colors on my fingers because I hate when it chips or smudges before the polish dries. The lady did a good job on my cuticles. It took forever to do my gel toenail polish and she kept scraping her fingernail around the skin of my big toe to clean up the polish. I appreciate her trying to do my pedicure neatly, but she had hard gel fingernails and that crap hurt. She kept redoing my big toe and by the time she was finished I had been there an hour and half. When I got home my clear fingernail polish had already chipped and I noticed the big toe she kept redoing was lumpy and bumpy (she photo). I paid $70 plus tip to get my cuticles trimmed and get my toe scraped by a sharp nail! I know there are better priced nail salons with better service and techniques.
The customer service was awesome everyone was so helpful. I got a complementary water next time I'll have the wine. I had Mai. She was amazing. I love my nails they are the perfect shape and I will definitely be back for my fill in two weeks. UPDATE 5/19/17: This is my second time here and I love the customer service once again. This time I made an appointment for Mai. She did such a great job on my fill. She was really attentive and very sweet. I will be back again for her.
I've been coming here for years, however due to change in ownership, I do not plan to come back. The atmosphere is clean and usually uncrowned. Since the new ownership, I've come twice and both were terrible experiences. During one of the times, the owner was speaking/yelling to tech to hurry because there were too many people waiting. Two people with appointments left after waiting so long. The techs are nice, but some of the newer ones aren't as good. I've had two disappointing experiences, so I will not be back.
I use to go here all the time but than moved away. Every time I would come back for a visit I would go there and get my nails and the occasional pedicure. Well the last time I went I told the gentleman that I was just traveling through (visiting) and he than he proceeded to tell me to never tell a nail tech that you are traveling through. They will rush your nails and you won't get good quality. Well I guess he proved that correct. My nails are the worse I have ever had. He didn't file them down enough so that they looked nice. He was going for a fill and go! Very disappointed since I went there for almost 2 years and than would come back and go there again. Well I guess I will have todo d a new place once again when I come to visit! Thanks for the advice on not disclosing I'm just visiting.
After going to nail concepts for over 2 years and receiving great service I will say that I am extremely disappointed with the service I received in my last two visits. My friend and I both were there for manicures and pedicures and after over an hour of sitting in the pedicure chair my friend had to because no one told her there would be a wait. I got a gel manicure last Tuesday and when the manicure started they gave me the wrong color and seemed frustrated when I corrected it. By Friday the polish had peeled exposing over half of my nail. I called to ask about getting it fixed and the woman I spoke to said it wouldn't be an issue to come in and they'd fix it for me. When I got to the salon the man told me my nails were out grown and I should pay to have them all done again. After I explained that they weren't done correctly the first time he agreed to fix one nail only. He was extremely rude the entire time I had to speak with him. Jason came over to fix my nail and did an amazing job. If I do go back to nail concepts he will be the only one I go to.
New managers and by far THE best pedicurr I've had in a very, very long time. Andy was amazing. I walked in and got helped right away, they were very sweet and welcoming, and the new owner is so proud of her salon. It's very clean and very pleasant. I would highly suggest this place - come support a new business owner!
Really clean, awesome pedicures! I got a Green Tea pedicure and my friend got a Tropical one. Everything smelled great and my skin is sooooo soft. I would definitely recommend coming here.
I wanted to check out a new place for a pedicure. This location is really nice. I came in around 4 pm and they weren't as busy. My pedicure was just okay. It felt like they were in a rush and didn't take their time on me. I've had better experience at different locations. I'll have to give this place another try.
Well I was led here by all of the good reviews! This place is really ducked off & I don't think I would've noticed it otherwise! The staff was really friendly. Once they knew were first time customers they loaded us up with coupons. The establishment is beautiful! Beautiful decor & immaculate! One restroom was taken so I was directed to another ( wow, public restrooms let alone TWO) & they were pretty as well! The staff encourages you to relax with soothing music, massage chairs, & wine! Only reason I gave a 4 is because my tech seemed scared to really dig into my feet. I left with calloused feet & rough heels. I just think she didn't want to handle me roughly but my feet needed to be!! I'll definitely be back & I'll just be specific with the care I want. Awesome place! Techs speak perfect English!

She ended up speaking with the manager, Katie, and raced after to tell me how sweet she was. During the appointments, we were both seated and being worked on within minutes of arriving. I was helped by Katie, while she was helped with Andy -- both of them are FANTASTIC. There was playful bickering from all around that made the entire experience a lot of fun. Everything we asked for was done perfectly, from nail shaping requests, nail art, full set, mani's, and pedi's. The salon itself is simply decorated, modern, and has lots of upgrades going in to it at the moment. Above all it is so clean and spacious compared to most I've been to. My sister and I will definitely be returning and urging anyone in need of some pampering to visit.

Ok, so I go to favorite place to find a nail shop, since I'm out of town. Yelp of course! And I found Concept nails. They had lots of reviews and mostly good ones. So I decided to give them a try. So I go in and it's nice on the inside. I like that. It was a nice size nail shop. I let them know that I had prior engagements and I had an hour, but if that wasn't enough time, I'd come back later. They said no problem. I said okay I need to be out by 1:45. She said I'll be done at 1:30. Needless to sat, at 1:45 she was still filing my nails. Now to her defense, she was also helping the young lady do my pedicure. I'm guessing cause it was a Tuesday afternoon, the more seasoned nail techs weren't there. In my experience they don't usually work on slow days, except by appointment. But that's fine, I'm not very picky. I just want them to all be the same length and shape. But they weren't. So, like I said it was Tuesday afternoon. By Friday night, on nail just chipped then broke off. I didn't even bump it on anything, it just cracked on the side and eventually broke off. I'm was not a happy camper. So I go back yesterday to get that nail fixed. They fixed it free of charge. I get to the house and barely bumped my middle nail on the bottom of the couch wiping up spill and another nail just pops off. Less than I week I lost two nails That's crazy. Hiedi did my nails. But another thing I noticed is that the acyrlic is super flimsy. I don't think I'll be going back. But good luck. I think is one of those places where you have to do more research and only request your favorite person who knows what you like. Also, I have when I ask them to do something and they say, " I do for you later". Why can't we fix it now. read more

The new manager is amazingly sweet and very talented! Her name is Katie, she did my manicure. She even added a cute little design on my ring finger for my engagement photos today. Christie did my pedicure. By far the most amazing pedicure I've ever had. She massaged and got rid if my rough spots better than I've ever had before. Andy is very nice as well. Greeted me when he came in. The salon is very clean and has a great feel. They offered me a drunk when I came in and a warm towel/bean wrap fort neck. The chairs are great too. I would recommend this place to anyone! They have great deals and referrals too! read more

Let me start out by saying- I've never had my nails done so well as this place has did my nails. I've been getting my nails done for years and this place tops them all. Steve did my nails and holly did my toenails, but I really have to commend Steve. He knew how to get my nails the way I wanted, and made recommendations and asked my opinion before he did anything. I tried netgen nails for the first time and I'm in love. TOTAL game changer. They're lighter and more natural looking than acrylic. Customer service was also top notch. This place definitely deserves 5 stars. read more

I have been coming here for almost two years now and have yet to write a review. I don't get my nails done as much as a lot of women, but I am super OCD and can't stand even the tiniest flaws in a manicure. I have gone to many many different nail salons in the area and each time I wasn't impressed and tried a different place. Until I came here. Their entire team is fantastic. I have never been disappointed with my nexgen nails. I chew my nails pretty low, so I know it's a challenge for them. Plus, they have the colour changing ones! (they call it mood changing. They're heat sensitive and super fun) I highly recommend them. read more

Started coming here during months ago! I absolutely love it! Every nail tech does a great job! Whether I get gel, solar, or pink and white! My nails come out looking natural everytime! Oh and can't forget the pedi! Mmmmm! I've tried them all! My favorite is the lemon lime! They take their time with the massage & you get complimentary wine! Who doesn't love that lol! Thus place is the BEST! read more

I will not be back. I used to come faithfully when Katy and her crew were there, but since their gone this place has gone down hill. The lady paint my entire finger and tried to use remover to get it off. What is really going on Nail Concepts!? Did I mention my pedicure was rushed, no timer used like previously. I came here because of the reviews and loved it! They are a little pricey but it is worth it every now and then. The techs are nice and they do a wonderful job. The atmosphere is relaxing. My visit in detail. I came on a Saturday morning (walk-in) just about 15 min after opening. I was the only one there upon arrival. I had a mani and pedi regular. I was out of there in about an hour. Kim did a wonderful job on my pedi. Then another tech (who's name I did not learn) did my mani. I would recommend this place if you don't mind spending a little more and would like to have a great experience read more
I really, really enjoyed this spot. My pedicure was done to perfection. My nail set was awesome as well. It's big, spacious and clean. I honestly cannot praise this place enough. 1. She didn't take off my old dip polish correctly 2. Instead she filed my entire nail until it was flimsy 3. When I asked for extra coat they said no. 4. It broke two days later. 5. These are my real nails and she cut them and added a fake nail on top after it cracked. 6. When I got it fixed it was all bloody and they used the same glue and products instead of throwing it away.. I feel like this is the first time I have the perfect nails that I've ever had done! David went beyond my expectations with his technique. This guy knows his dip nails. I will def come back and have made this salon my nail salon. Thank you!!! read more

This place is the worse. I have an eye infection and am thinking of trying to get reimbursed for all these meds I have to get. I went in and got one set of lashes they fell off the next day. Went back to get repairs and my eyes started to burn. I wore them for a day then my vision became blurry. I removed them and here is when the infection started to festure. I went to to the clinic at work got eye drops for pink eye. That didn't work. Then went to another doctor because it wouldn't clear up. Now I'm in the emergency room for this bacterial infection. 200.00 later in fees. The customer service was great but this wasn't worth it read more

Best experience at a nail salon ever! I live in California so I found this place off yelp reviews for my wedding in the DFW area. Several of my bridesmaids and I went the day before my wedding, and it was perfect! They helped all of us quickly and made sure we could be near each other. I was incredibly stressed when I came in, but they put me in a massage chair and gave me a glass of white wine, and by the time I left I was so relaxed. I wanted a shellac French manicure, and even though some of my nails were uneven and broken, they managed to make them look great. They still looked great into my honeymoon. They also made a beautiful design on my toes that is still intact a month later! We all got a discount for being part of a large group. I would definitely recommend this nail salon. They helped make my wedding day perfect! read more

This place is clean & the ladies are so sweet. Not only that, but their shirts always match. =) They'll do your nails while getting your pedicure - something I value in a nail place. I come back here also because they do dip gel acrylic powder. If you haven't tried it - you're missing out. Looks like gel but a little thicker, finishes shiny, doesn't require dry time, and doesn't pick off - lasts weeks! Love it! Can't go back to regular gel. read more
