Have not had a good experience this making me very scared to try places (not the cheapest luxury) Went to this place a few weeks ago and although the pedicure was okay, didn't enjoy my nails. I decided to give it another shot today and WOW! The two people I got were amazing. I can't say EVERYONE is good in there but the people I got this last time had converted me to a regular. She was so patient on my nails and asking me during steps if I wanted them to be sharper, thicker, round, etc. Will not go to another nail tech after this. read more

I've been going here for quite a while and service has either been great or terrible. This most recent time was just the final straw for me. Within a single day my gel manicure was already lifting at the cuticle. Within a week, chipping and lifting on multiple nails. This was a gel manicure so I expected it to last much longer. She really rushed the manicure and massage was just rubbing oil on, this is typically the difference between a full set and mani. I don't have time to constantly run back and forth to the nail salon so this is just irritating. I'm not sure if the product they're using isn't good quality any more or what it is but we had 3 different colors so it isn't just one product lacking. Both of my daughters normally get gel polish. Some times we have one or two come off after two weeks which is expected but my youngest daughter's gel polish fully pealed off of one toe nail the next day. There was also a misunderstanding with the pricing. We normally just do gel polish for $15, no pedicure. This time they asked if we wanted just to go ahead and get a pedicure, we've done this in the past at other places but some charge more than others so I verify prior. One worker said oh just $20, I clarified that we will be doing gel and said yes $20. I reiterated that we would be doing gel so I asked again, the $20 is for gel pedicure and she said yes. So I figured they may be running some sort of promotion this time. Wrong. We get to check out and I'm being charged $35 per child. I explained I asked more than once and reiterated that this was for gel and a pedicure and worker confirmed. After being a little more stern I explained that worker may have misunderstood but I wouldn't be paying an extra cost since I made multiple efforts to clarify. She then said they would offer a discount, it's not a discount when that was the price agreed but okay. I'm just very disappointed with the way their quality has deteriorated. read more

Although my nails didn't end up so bad, except for one, I can't say I would want to come back. A couple are a little crooked. It started great, i came in for a full set of acrylics and a pedicure. The lady who did my nails was taking her time and doing a great job until another client walked in, who i guess she liked more than me, because suddenly she rushed to get my nails done. One now has a dent, the acrylic wasn't fully sanded off so I've got chunks of it stuck to the sides, and when she finished pointed me to the counter and sat down with the other client. I guess she forgot I was also wanting a pedicure so I cashed out and left. I'm kind of glad i did, now i get to go try another salon for my pedicure. read more

Do NOT go here. Terrible customer service. Rushed my dip nail set and my fingers hurt for days. All of my nails were uneven. Called and asked if they could be fixed. They said yes not a problem. When I got there they said they would charge half price to fix them and I had to come back another day. I then asked if they could just be removed and they said no we're busy you can come back in an hour. Will not be back. read more

If I could give them 0 stars then I would've . Not only did they put me way back in the corner but the water pressure was so low the water kept turning off. The water filter was disgusting . Literally discolored . The lady made my water cold, never asked if it was comfortable temperature . Then when I told her it was too cold she turned the water on scorching hot directly on my foot . When she was scrubbing my foot with the callus remover my foot was COMPLETELY DRY! When I told her my foot was dry she began spraying alcohol All over my foot. When she put the scrub on my legs and feet to exfoliate my foot yet again WAS DRY. When she put on the lotion she kept rubbing the same spot over and over . Took my bestie here for pedis to treat her for her bday. The salon was decently clean. The area does have a problem with crickets and they were in the salon as well. They sat us quickly. The one who was doing my service did not speak English hardly at all when I asked if the color swatches she handed me were gel or regular color she didn't understand, I asked again but it didn't help. So I had to ask the tech doing my friends nails. I told her we didn't want gel color we just wanted regular polish. I kept getting the feeling like they were trying to upsell us. They gave us the pedicure book open to the most expensive pedicures, they gave us the gel polish book even though we said regular polish. My girl ended up cutting me with the cheese grater thing. I said ouch a couple of times but apparently she didn't understand that either. The application of the nail polish was ok. Chairs were comfy. read more

Not the worst mani/pedi experience I've ever had, but not great. It was a little frustrating that I had to go through different 3 color choices before they could "find" the color I requested and ultimately neither service was all that great. I got a dip manicure and pedicure and with tip, it was over $90, so I felt it was a little pricey for the quality of service. My pedicure was definitely better than the dip manicure, but all in all it was nothing special or memorable. I am not happy what so ever. My nails are wide. Like super wide. They did not ask me what shape I want it he basically just went in with the acrylic and gave me a square shape. The length of my nails is not the problem neither is the color it's the width my nails are wider than Bart Simpson's hair honestly I'm so not happy Also they asked me if I wanted to do gel I said no he asked why not I said not this time it's too much and then he said so I can get a tip right? Not happy at all! Dip manicure is too thick and not cleaned up right! I told her that I need her to clean the skin around the nails because they are rough (from my biting it)....she did opposite what I asked! IRRITATED! Won't be back, sorry, I don't see where this place is worth all the great review 7/2 - after removing the dip several weeks ago I have been working to repair all the damage done to my nails! I have this line that was created in my natural nail on two of my fingers, that explains why they hurt for two days after getting the dip done! I have been coming to Paradise Nails for a little while now and never really have had any issues. Recently I went to get my nails done for halloween and picked out a chrome color that was absolutely perfect, my nail tech agreed and walked away. I saw her whisper with her boss and walk to get the chrome, When she came back she continued doing my nails, and when she applied the color I immediately told her that wasn't what I chose, I chose a black/red chrome & this was an orange metallic. She then tells me she couldn't apply the other chrome on top of dip nails because it was a gel polish & so she just chose one she thought was similar. After many compliments she continued insisting the color was gorgeous and "so spooky/halloweeny". After much push back I just gave up because she wouldn't redo them. Not to mention she then sealed my nails with a GEL polish, so her excuse just didn't make sense. I left completely unhappy and ended up filing the metallic coat off and painting over them. I am completely dissatisfied and will have to take my service elsewhere after that treatment. read more

We were in town for a wedding and tried this salon based on my co-yelper reviews. My husband really enjoyed his pedicure. He said she did a really good job. I also felt my technician did a good job, however I asked for #4 Black but I received a really dark color with some kind of sparkle. It almost looks like a very dark dark green with tiny gold sparkles. It doesn't look bad, but not what I wanted. Next time I'll ask to see the bottle of polish to make sure it's what I want. Great experience! My husband and I went for our anniversary on Mother's Day weekend. We both got pedicures and manicures. I love that they do your hands and feet at the same time - that way it doesn't take forever. They offer you water, soda, wine. They're very nice and friendly, as well. Aesthetically pleasing inside with colorful lighting effects on the ceiling adding to the serenity of this good-sized salon. All the sanitary precautions seem to be taken, including disposable liners in the tubs. They have soft drinks, wine, and frozen 'ritas for the asking! Endless supply of colors...love how the bottle selections aren't displayed on a shelf anymore to be touched by everyone. You're given a box full of color samples during your pedicure and there are probably hundreds! Almost impossible to narrow it down to one. I loved my tech...doesn't say much, no tickling on my tickle prone feet and loved my "rosemary mint" Pedicure which with all the basics included a Paraffin was treatment, hot stone massage and hot towel treatment. What a refreshing place to find! Walked in without an appointment and my daughter and I were taken right back to comfortable, clean massage chairs for our pedicures. The manager was constantly checking on all the clients. We were offered refreshments right away and our comfort was constantly checked. My daughter got a great manicure and pedicure with adorable Fourth of July artwork. I got a fantastic pedicure and got my dip nails from another place removed and redone. I was very leery of getting them done again as the last place did such a bad job, but they put me at ease and did a GREAT Job with an American manicure, shaped perfectly.
