    Soooooo, I decided to give them a try a few weeks ago when I noticed that they opened earlier than the place that I had been going to. They actually open at 9:00 on Saturdays which is great. The service was great and enjoyed my services. I went again yesterday for a nail repair, they offered me wine (which I politely accepted, lol) Mya or Mia gave me a massage while I was getting my nail fixed and to my surprise, there was no charge for my visit. When I went to the front to pay, they said no worries, it's on us today.....WHAT!?? I was pleasantly surprised and I think I'll be coming back based on my last 2 experiences and it's actually closer to my house than the other place.

    I have visited this nail salon for almost a year now and each time I have been pleased. Each time the service was consistent. However, today was different. Had an appointment for a pedicure and dip and I typically am in and out within an hour and half. Not today. I arrived at 1:30, seated by 1:43 and finished by 3:48. The quality of service has gone done. Since I have been coming here for a little nearly a year I will give them another chance... Toe nail color that I chose was changed and the technician tried to convince me to change it to the color he chose. He tried to ignore the request by handing me off to someone else. My nails were rushed and had several mistakes... The nail technician was pleasant and corrected them... Maybe they were just busy, I will try again.

    One of my clients recommended this place to me and I hesitated bc I live in Fort Worth and just wanna go home after work. However, I have limited time with a trip next week so I decided to call and booked in the same day for after work. They were so accommodating. They give you a slip to fill out when you first get there. I got my pedicure while getting my dip manicure done. Didn't take long and they both did an awesome job. Jenny was amazing and so sweet!! I love my nails and she was such great company to talk to after a long day of work! I will be returning! Thanks American Nail Bar for my beautiful nails!

    Here is how easily my nails just came off. They are acrylic..... this isn't supposed to happen.

    I gave this salon two shots. First time I asked for dip nails and they started do acrylic. I mentioned it immediately and she told me it was dip. This isn't my first rodeo... I knew the difference, but let her do her thing. They then had the audacity to charge me for dip. My nails looked alright, so in a pinch I went back for a fill. They charged $45 for a fill when a full set is $35... they also charged extra for almond shape. My nails were already almond.... I paid and left. I'll stick to my original salon. UPDATE: It has been 6 days and my nails came off. One popped off. When I went to check the others I realized I could peel them off. $45 for nails that didn't even last a week.

    Came here after work with my coworker. We each got a pedicure and I also got dip nails. I asked for black deep French tips, and I wanted my nails to be long. I asked that they put tips on all of my natural nails even though my nails were fairly long already. I asked this because I knew I wanted them longer than my natural nail. I did not get what I asked for, but I thought-- whatever no big deal, I can go for a more natural look. There was also a lady coming in to complain about the pedicure she received as it was messed up as we first got there. I should have taken that as a red flag but I decided to go ahead and continue with service anyway. We paid for deluxe pedicures and did not get a stone massage.. idk most places I've been to always offer that with an upgraded pedi but again! I wasn't going to throw a fit. No big deal. However, i felt something was off and didn't say anything but looking back it an issue. First they made me pay upfront for my services. Initially he said it was $107 and then when I swipe my card the machine said $112. I asked him why that was and he was annoyed and was like well you're asking for Extra and she has to paint the design. I was like ok. And paid... So while my friend sat in the chair with her wine enjoying her pedicure, I was at the front paying for everything before I even sat in a chair. I don't know why they chose to make me do this? This has never happened before. But I accepted it and moved on. This is where I draw the line. I get home and I knew my nails were too short and the French tips were literally regular French, even though I asked and nicely showed them a photo of a long deep French set. BUT 3 of my nails were lifted. Literally not even attached to the tip. I work at a doctors office and handle bodily fluids. That is a HUGE mistake. I could get a fungal infection and loose my fingers. All it takes is one pathogen! I went up the next morning and explained to them what's going on. They seemed annoyed that I was coming back and acted like I was making it a bigger deal than it was but I was completely calm and respectful about it. Not only that but NO one apologized to me. They just wanted me to shut up sit down and get out. All she did was DRILL my natural nails down so the tip was flush. What a total waste. Now I have 3 nails that are shorter than all the rest even tho the tips they put on there are literally the same length as the rest of my natural nails. Long story short don't waste your time. Poor service. UPDATE: it's 10.26.22 My nails are ALL LIFTED!!!! AGAIN. I went back to speak with them and get my money back and they refuse. They expect me to come back another time and let them do my nails a 3rd time?? ABSOLUTELY NOT. I will be reporting this place, that is unsanitary and unacceptable. The guy who was unapologetic and refused to give me my money back even though I had already came for a correction!!!!!! This is seriously the worst service I have ever received.

    My favorite place to get my nails done! Very friendly staff that always delivers quality nails. Ivy is the best nail tech in the Dallas metropolitan

    If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I found them on yelp (of course) and went to them because of the good reviews... I was very excited to get back in the salon since they have been closed for a while. I got my toes, nails, & eyebrows done. I told the tech exactly what I wanted and it didn't turn out great. I told her that I wanted my nails square/square and not too thin because I tend to break them due to working out. Well, she did them thick(ish) but they are super uneven. Some parts of my nails are thinner than others and they aren't as square as I asked for. On my toes, I paid an extra $7 to have the calluses taken care of and my feet are still rugged. It makes sense though, my tech was in a rush the entire time along with being on her phone FaceTiming with someone. I was sitting right next to her asking questions and was completely ignored (probably because she was on her phone, she had AirPods in). Now to my eye brows... I am always hesitant to let new salons do them because I'm extremely picky. Well the tech went so fast and missed so many hairs that I had to pluck a lot of hairs when I got home. I didn't look in depth at my brows when she was done because I trusted that I was getting quality work. Not the case & lesson learned. I am very disappointed and feel that if I am going to spend $120.00, I should get 5 star service. Unfortunately that was not the case yesterday. I will not be returning. On a positive note, I will say that the techs were kind when they did speak to me. The work done was just not good quality.

    Nail infections

    NAIL INFECTIONS! And the worst customer service ever!! I got a huge nail infection from this place and I called and called multiple times and the lady kept saying "call back later" and I finally got in touch with a guy working there and he took my name down and said he would call me back. THEY NEVER DID! They kept saying the manager/owner wasn't in the store which I know is a huge lie because I've been going here a few times and they were always in the store no matter the time. They didn't do anything to resolve the problem. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FREE NAIL

    I'm here visiting from California and my cousin wanted to go get her toes so I tagged along and decided to get a full set acrylic with reg polish I showed this photo to the guy and said I wanted this just a bit shorter.. he kept asking if I wanted square n I said I wanted them to look like the photo (I haven't gotten my nails done since before covid and it was a last minute idea to come do our nails) so after he applied the acrylic he asked if I liked the shape said I would like the sides to be more shaved (again like the photo) but then he proceeded to tell me that it's a $5 extra charge and I said okay that is fine I just want it to look like the photo. Then he made it a big deal because he would have to start over and take everything off blah blah blah I hate confrontation so I was like okay just continue just I would like it shaved a bit more but he refused to start over and or to shave more off so I just sat and let him finish and waited till my cousin was done. When it was time to go pay my cousin cover my nails but told the front desk girl I wasn't happy and asked for some type of discount since she is a loyal customer and is also known by the manager since she is there very week. While I'm waiting for her to go pay the guy that did my nails leaves his current customer who he is working on a came to me and starts going off on me and starts yelling at me saying it was my fault that my nails look the way that they do. All I know is that she and I will Never be return as it was just so rude on his part to come confront me and make a scene in the salon while people go there to relax. Just so Unprofessional and he wouldn't even make small talk with me and was rude from the beginning. If I could give them 0 stars I would Knowing that he could've just filed a bit more at the top to get the look like the photo all of that could've been avoided. But I got a file my self and polish so I'll do it my self. I just hate that even when you have a photo they do what they want. (Ps I'm a cosmetologist and I know how things need to be done and cleaned and if state board came in they would definitely be getting shut down) My next review is to Texas state board of cosmetology

    I asked for round chrome/holographic nails and paid $15 extra for the service on top of the acrylic nails and gel polish. A total of $135+$10 tip including a pedicure i also got. The pedicure was great and i was happy with it but my nails came out very thick,lumpy, bumpy and my nail beds are extremely sore and it hurts to use my fingers to type! The chrome/holo powder they put on my nails looks very dull and like i've already been wearing the polish for two weeks. Just was very low quality work. This is my first time getting any thing other than a pedicure at this salon so i was nervous going in and came out horrified. Unfortunately, i don't think i'll be coming here again. Everyone is really nice but they did NOT give me $135 quality service. I'm just really sad i didn't get what i asked for.

I have been calling since October to cancel my membership due to constant turnover of sugarists and lack of consistency in care. Every time I called, I was told a manager would call me back. That call never came ,not once. This went on for weeks, despite repeated attempts to speak directly with the manager, Jee. During this time, my card continued to be charged $55 for November, and December even though I clearly expressed my intent to cancel and had not returned since my last appointment in October. I also explicitly asked for my card to be removed from file, yet it continued to be charged anyway. When I finally received any response, the manager made assumptions without ever speaking to me directly and only refunded one month ($55) without calling to discuss the situation, her lack of follow-up, or the repeated unauthorized charges. I am still owed refunds for the remaining November that was charged while my cancellation requests were being ignored. Throughout this entire process, communication was handled (when it happened at all) through text messages from an unreachable number, which is extremely unprofessional especially when dealing with billing disputes and unhappy clients. There has been zero live communication from Jee despite multiple complaints, including my most recent one on 12/28, after my card was charged again on 12/25. It took two months to finally receive a cancellation form which raises the question: why wasn't this provided in October when I first started calling to discuss my concerns of turn over and not wanting to continue with my membership. Additionally, I lost three different sugarists during my membership, leaving me without a consistent provider. While the sugarists themselves were kind and professional, the management is not. No client should have to chase a business for months just to cancel a membership or stop charges. Because my concerns were ignored, I had to contact Wells Fargo to report the establishment and stop further charges. This practice feels extremely shady and unprofessional. I will not return and have reported this issue. I am also escalating this to corporate. I strongly advise others to be cautious if you have an issue or want to cancel, expect delays, ignored calls, text-only communication, and continued charges. Very disappointing experience

First off the boutique spa room had a soothing beautiful ambiance and was spotless. Great location too! Scheduling online was easy and she started right on time. I had a Brazilian and signature facial. She uses a special wax that def makes a difference on pulling the skin (less painful). The facial was amazing. Products were top notch and my skin was glowing. Add a hand massage and the experience so relaxing. Estarra is personable and the whole experience was perfect. I'll be a regular!!

Failure to discard buffer blocks or porous nail files in a trash receptacle after exposure to broken skin or unhealthy skin or nails §106(f). *No pedicure liners *Used nail file(s) and foot callus scrubbers (porous) *Used nail drill bits without sanitation (acrylic residue remains on drill bit before beginning). *Overall salon sanitation *Failure to post all required licenses ---- When asking the nail tech if those (referencing the tools), she proceeded to let me know they 'wash' them with soap and water. These are porous tools, and these were very much visibly used. I immediately felt uncomfortable and asked the nail tech to stop. At this point, my nails had two (2) nail tip extensions on my big toes (incomplete) and she trimmed two (2) nails. When bringing up my concern at the front, I was just told "sorry about that" and proceeded to be charged $25 for what was already done. Mind you, I was in the salon maybe 15 minutes with 10 minutes or less being in the chair. Deluxe Pedicure (EA. cooling peppermint pedi) are $50 plus $18 for gel. Why would it be $25 for nail trim and nail tips for two nails? I feel as though because I spoke up about their sanitation, I was reprimanded via overcharging. Please please please do not go to this place. Please spend the extra money going somewhere where sanitation is visible and you're not risking infection. This shop is now under investigation for multiple violations by the State of Texas.

The salon itself is very clean, basic and quiet - not like all these loud, dirty and busy salons on every corner. I don't want my pedicure to feel like a trip to a night club... My deluxe pedicure here was so enjoyable! There was extreme attention to detail and comfort & at a competitive price; I also didn't have to wait at all on a weekend day. I will definitely be coming here for my regular pedicures. I would recommend to every single person!!
