I got my nails done for vacation and on the 3rd day one nail popped off and then a second and the 3D design snagged on my hair and popped off. Wow! I stopped in Nature Lounge on a whim, as I was in the area, and will make the commute to Arlington to get my nails done here going forward. The salon is super cute and clean. Love the "nature aesthetic". I was greeted and offered a beverage upon arrival. My nail tech was Iris and she is amazing! She took her time, was gentle and ensured to check that I liked my nails throughout the service. I have thin natural nails, so I opt to drill the gel nail polish off rather than the acetone soak which weakens my nails, and she had no issue with my request even though it may take a bit more work. Onto the nails, the best French tip I've EVER had. I couldn't stop looking at them. They are super precise and clean - you can tell Iris takes pride in her work! I was intrigued that this nail salon used organic nail products and with the great Yelp reviews I wanted to check out Nature Lounge. I arrived on Tuesday afternoon and checked in at the front. The gentleman who greeted me was nice as I told him what I wanted. I sat and waited about 15 minutes. He kept me informed about the wait and that a pedi chair was almost ready for me. As I waited I took in the clean white minimal nature decor. All the seating was comfy and actually a nice switch up from the typical pedi massage chairs that can sometimes uncomfortably did in your back. Also, there was no strong annoying smell that comes from most nail salons because the products they use are organic and eco friendly. Tracy gave me my basic pedicure (Pedicure 1 at $35) She did a great job. Wasn't too talkative which I appreciated. Later after she started Iris came to give me my gel manicure ($40). I showed her a couple photos of what I liked for designs. She replicated it so well! I'm in love with my nails and she will be my nail tech from here on out. I did have to pay an additional $15 for two nail extensions on my thumbs but overall I thought the price was reasonable ($100 total with tip). read more

Sent my teenager back with her tech with a selected service and a talk to not consent to upgrades. The tech kept saying stuff to her (since I was not present) like, "I'm going to add gel, okay?" instead of asking her if she'd like to upgrade her service. The cost of the visit was doubled back there and I asked up front when checking why they were adding costs to a visit I booked for a minor. They said they didn't know she was a minor. I was given a 10% discount to attempt to appease me for the cost of the booked service doubling. I tipped on the price of the service I actually booked for my child. It is absolutely insane that I even had to give my child a speech about being tricked into upgrades before she went back. But to have to further describe the tactics shady places use to imply a request for consent without actually informing you of what the cost is... infuriating. I shouldn't need to behave like a defense attorney to receive the service I booked. The end result was well done, but the business practices are underhanded. I don't think I've ever been so pleased with a nail salon! I was looking for a new spot after having tried several in Mansfield with less than stellar results (lifting of nails, cracking, bad attitudes) and searched here on Yelp for something with good reviews. Communication was perfect, everyone was friendly, nothing was pushed on me that I didn't want, each person gets their own tools fresh out of the bag, and they do outstanding work. I got a relatively simple set of Gel XL nails, which I've never had before, and she followed the picture I showed her perfectly. The woman next to me got a gorgeous, elaborate set with design and jewels and they looked amazing! This is definitely the place if you want a design or something fancier. (Though, like I said, they did wonderfully on my "simple" ones, too.) Prices are a bit higher. I paid $60 for the Gel XL, coffin shape, and design but it is so so worth it! The friendliness, cleanliness, and execution is what will keep me coming back. And I will definitely be back! The vibes in the salon were relaxing and there was barely a wait (I arrived 15 min before my appointment). I had gone in wanting a basic dip mani. I couldn't find the color I wanted so I asked Ken and he found the exact color for me. We talked and he mentioned how they pride themselves on quality and designs so I decided to get a small design for once. He said they do have appointments so as not to be rushed during the process which is a huge pro. I showed him a reference pic and he nailed it. I had an appointment for gel manicure. I was asked to sit in a pedicure chair since they had no seats available and I declined. So I had to wait 20 minutes extra to be seated in the proper area for a manicure. I asked for almond shape and did not get what I asked for. I stopped the nail tech after she filed the first nail to let her know that's not what I wanted. I even showed her a picture of what almond shape is. She proceed to shape my nail round and move on the next nail. I stopped her and asked her to fix my nail shape at least 4 times. Eventually, I gave up. Clearly I was not going to get what I asked for. Also, I noticed something black on one of my nails and told her so she could fix it. Instead she just added another layer of gel polish on top. It did not cover the dark spec that somehow landed on my nail. Overall, I left disappointed with the quality of work here. Needless to say, this is my first and last time going here. I wanted to venture out of my comfort zone and decided to try this place. The place was very clean and aesthetic! My nail technician was Jane? I'm not sure I just saw the name on my appointment. She was very attentive but I believe she might still be training. I ask for coffin but these look kind of square to me. Not only that they're bulky but it's nicely flat from a side profile. Also, not sure if chrome/holographic come off so easily after 1 week. Maybe the technician didn't put gel of top. I know it's hard to do ombré with holographic and I should of ask the tech to blend the chrome up a little more. Overall, I'm not a strict person and was glad I could help a training person. It's a plus that they use healthy serum of your nails. These are just my opinion as someone who gets her nails done often. Updated!!: Vi, the manager reach out to me and re did my nails for no charge. I can tell she really love her customer because she re do a few nails when I just stare at them or see something off. Writing this review literally a week from my visit. Regular polish pedicure didn't even last 5 days. I came back to ask if they can just touch up on the chipped ones which were like 3 toes. And they wanted to charge me a polish change. For what? Obviously your products were not good enough to last. Now I have to pay again for it to probably not last again. Started coming to Nature Lounge in 2020 after my longtime nail tech retired. I was looking for a place that didn't use a lot of chemicals and during the height of the pandemic I just wanted a simple manicure and no long nail extensions. I love Nature Lounge because: 1. They only take appointments, rarely any walk-Ins so they pay attention to you and aren't rushing to get you out of the seat for the next customer 2. It doesn't smell like a nail salon 3. The decor is relaxing and inviting, it feels more spa-like. 4. David, he is professional, personable, he takes his time and does a great Job while making sure you are completely satisfied. My sister and I got pedicures and dip for our nails. Vi, the manager, did such an amazing job on my nails. Like I stated, I'm very picky with my nails and Vi understood that. Even though it was super busy she took her time and made sure I was satisfied. We didn't end up finishing until 7:30 ish and there was still no rush. I told many friends about Nature Lounge, they love the place and Vi especially. I would highly recommend this nail salon. Also since this salon is all natural with no chemicals, you don't get that headachy smell that you get in every nail salon. This place is clean and calming. I hate to be the one to break the 5 star reviews but here it is. All females know how hard it is to find a good nail salon. Then, to find a good tech at that salon. I was searching for a new salon and seen all of the 5 star reviews across different outlets. I also noticed they had a BOGO deal, so I had to try. Walking in, it's very impressive. Spacious, clean and pretty. I checked in with the lady at the counter, who gave me the dip colors. It didn't look like it but there were a lot of dip options. I hated the rings they were on because there were so many, it made it hard to keep track of my potential colors and searching for other colors. The regular nail polishes are all OPI and Essie. They do use OPI dip powder, so I was able to match the OPI regular polish color with my dip. My appointment was for 2:30. By 2:50, the lady working behind the counter came over and started filing off my old gel polish. I asked how much longer it would be. She said maybe 10 more minutes. There were only 4 customers being serviced. I explained that I needed to be out by 4:15 at the latest. (While waiting, another girl came in to get her gel nails redone that she said lasted 2 days. They were very chipped. She waited and they fixed her nails.) Finally 30 minutes after my appointment, I was seated. It took another 15 mins (45 mins there so far) for me to ask for a drink. Tracy worked on my nails and Sally on my pedicure. Tracy has been doing nails for 7 years. She is very attentive to what she is doing and asks along the way for your thoughts on the nails. She even told me the total before I got my service that way there was no surprise hidden cost. I really like this sort of interaction. She definitely wanted me to love my nails. I thought my nails were thick so she offered to thin them more. While she was doing so, she explained the OPI powder is better and sturdier when thick. Once I understood, she added another layer to thicken. I love the scrub they used to exfoliate on my legs. This was included with the #1 aka the basic pedi. So why 4 stars despite being 30 mins behind? Because my nails look probably the best they ever have. Tracy was so meticulous and it shows. My pedicure came out well too. And for the price I paid, you couldn't beat it. Also, I was paying at 4:15. The service is there. The upgraded features compared to other salons is superb. There are maybe 10 employees here, so hopefully they'll add extra as time goes by. I will definitely be going back and I'm sure I'll be updating this review to 5 stars. read more

I just wanted a place where I felt comfortable and that the technicians would do a really good job. This place has excellent reviews. I will say that this is litteraly MY BEST pedicure treatment I have ever gotten. I really wish I remembered her name, but she was sooo amazing. Her mom did my mom's pedicure, and she was also very gentle and accommodating to my mom's very sensitive feet.
