I have been seeing Lindsey for my waxing needs for almost 5 years. I originally met Lindsey at a previous place she worked. I was using a living social and felt super awkward going in for waxing but she was so friendly, kind and made me feel like at ease and welcome. I used to use living social and groupon to try a service with the intent of returning if it was good but have since stopped since I would often feel like a business will blow you off when you are using those discounts. That is not Lindsey at all, she makes you feel like you are her favorite client and makes sure to address all your needs. She is also professional, hygienic and remembers little things about you. I had a few other estheticians that I saw when she wasn't available at her previous employer and they did not compare. One ripped my skin, the other left hair and the other I questioned her hygiene practices. After that I have been adamant about always seeing Lindsey. I drive an hour to an hour and half round trip to see Lindsey every 6 weeks because I know she takes care of things. She is also hilarious and has a great personality. I forget that she is ripping hair out of my skin because she keeps me laughing the whole time and it barely hurts! I have become picky about who I go to for my cosmetic needs due to other bad expierences and have to say Lindsey hands down is the best! If you need anything wax related Lindsey is a must! I have been going to Lindsey for her wax services every 6 weeks for the past 5 years, so naturally when I got engaged, I HAD to hire her for mine and my bridesmaids' wedding day makeup! I can't emphasize enough how much I loved having Lindsey there with me on my big day because she's not only the most talented MUA I know, she's also so fun to be around and makes you feel absolutely at home when you're in that chair. She goes above and beyond to make sure her bride's needs are being met, and she is magic when it comes to making sure everyone is on schedule and finished in time for photos. I definitely felt my MOST beautiful when she was done with my makeup that day! I visited Lindsey for a makeup consultation, for no particular event, just trying to get a feel for different makeup techniques/ideas. I was never comfortable enough to allow just anybody to do my makeup, however after many recommendations from co-workers who have received makeup services from her for their weddings I took a chance. To start off, the boutique itself was very acquaint and well maintained. The light accents on the wall and decor were extremely welcoming. Meeting Lindsey was an absolute pleasure, she is the sweetest most bubbly person I have ever met. Her personality is just one of the many things that stood out about her services though. I am a huge critic on customer service but had not one problem with my visit at the boutique. During the makeup session Lindsey kept me engaged and made the entire thing so comfortable. Of course, personality can only get you so far with clients but as soon as she turned me around to take a look at myself I was in awe! Her work is absolutely flawless. Ladies and Gentlemen of Yelp let me tell you about this facial I just received. Know that angels were blowing their horns and sweet harps were being played during and the day after. Let me begin this review by stating that I've been seeing Lindsey for YEARS for all of my waxing needs. Being of Mediterranean decent I make this girl WORK for her money. Appointment after appointment she kept asking me to get a facial and I kept telling her, "nahh I'm good- I wash my face in the shower." This was received with horror and dismay. Finally she convinced me to get a facial and SWEET BABY JESUS my face feels AH-MAZING. This girl has been the biggest blessing in my life! The first visit I had with her I was super nervous because I had never had a Brazilian or even a bikini wax, so I started with a bikini wax to see how it was and ease my way into a Brazilian. She was so sweet and comforting and understood my concerns, even walking me through the whole process. The next visit, I got the full out Brazilian and I was even more nervous! She put all my worries at ease and got it completely finished within 15 minutes! I was shocked! Needless to say, I have been back several times since then and I wouldn't even thinking about going anywhere else. I drive all the way from midlothian every six weeks and it is definitely worth it! i started going to lindsey about 4 years ago. i purchased a groupon on a whim to attempt my first wax and never looked back. throughout those 4 years, lindsey has become one of my very best friends. she is always super accommodating and makes you feel at home every visit. even my first visit felt like i had known her for years. recently while pregnant, i still visited religiously for waxes and facials (that she tweaked due to not being able to use certain products at the time) and had the opportunity for her to do my make up for my maternity pictures and i was speechless. all 3 of her services; makeup, waxing, and facials are the best work i've seen/had done. her prices are more than reasonable for the quality of work and i am so excited to see her business continue to grow with everything she has already put and continues to put into triple threat!! read more

I went to Porcelain Doll for my prom makeup junior and senior year and each time I had an absolutely perfect experience! Lindsey is extremely personable and easy to work with - she has a lot of ideas if you don't really know what you're looking for but can also perfectly recreate looks if you bring in pictures and know exactly what you want! Making an appointment was a breeze and she is just so much fun to talk to while she gets everything done! I got the most amazing compliments on my makeup both years and she really helped make my prom experience as wonderful as it was. I don't even know where to begin! I found this little gem as I was searching for a new wax place (I had been to a few places around the area, and in Dallas/Ft. Worth, but was never super happy) and boy am I glad I did! Lindsey is one of the most precious, caring, kind, lovely souls there is. Lindsay is the best EVER. I was terrified to get a brazilian. She made me feel so comfortable. Her studio is super cute, clean, and relaxing. Don't get me wrong- you're still getting hair ripped from your hoo-ha, so it hurts, but she gets it done so quickly. She talks with you through it to distract you, and it really helps. She's so friendly. I saw her 3 years ago, and then moved. When I moved back, and started seeing her again, she just picked up where we left off- she remembered me and truly cared about how I was doing. She is so great! I have been a client of Lindsey's for 4 years now and once I found her, I never looked back! That's what happens when you find a gem! She is fantastic. She does my Brazillian Wax about every 6 weeks or so and she is super quick and super clean. She talks to me the whole time which puts me at ease and makes me feel comfortable. Getting a wax is never a "fun" experience, but if there could be a fun way to do it...this is definitely the place. Lindsey is very professional, makes you feel at home and makes it as comfortable as possible. She keeps you so entertained that before you know it, the whole thing is over. After trying several different wax studios via Groupon, I have to say Lindsey was the best by far. Super friendly and professional and QUICK but thorough. I received the best Brazilian wax with absolutely no hassle afterwards. Several places I have gone have left me with itchy, red bumps which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by waxing.
