This was my first time at the Bedford location. I've been to Grand Prairie a few times before. Today I met Sulu and she gave me an eyebrow tint and thread and a facial wax. There was no wait time, but they were definitely busy! They are located right off Highway 121 at a convenient location and in a strip mall next to the taco spot. I am unsatisfied with my experience here. I am a long time customer of the Glam India chain in general. Last appointment I did a haircut and facial and I was happy. I usually generously tip too. However, I cannot say that those things for my first time at this location. I came here with an online booked appointment of the following: Eyebrows, underarms, upper lip, shampoo and blowout. I booked it for 1:15pm. I came in earlier at 12 and asked if I can start earlier. I appreciate the accommodation, however I was told that the hair stylist was out on Fridays. I was not notified before. So improv, They asked for another person to do it... that was my first red flag. An unqualified stylist. However, I was under the impression it would be a $35 shampoo and blowout. So I went along with it. No one told me the prices would change. Red flag 2. Anyways, the first couple of services were fine. Then shampoo and blowout part. Shampoo was mediocre. Then it came to blowout. She couldn't even do a blowout for me because she doesn't know how to do it. Like, okay what?! Red flag 3. She just curled m my hair with a flat iron. They didn't even have the right tools to curl my hair!!! My hair literally looks half ass curled. Look at that straight portion!!!! Red flag 4. Then when it comes to I paid for. After all those red flags, she charged me 55$ for a shampoo and blowout!!! That wasn't even a shampoo and blowout!!! And for a unqualified stylist?! I'm so disappointed and feel so blindsided by this service. Honestly, if I could give 0 stars, I would. I am really overall disappointed with my experience. I would not return back. read more

Review #10 yeah baby yeah!! I usually frequent their locations in Arlington but I have been visiting this location more frequently because of my job being closer here. I like how consistent they are at all of their locations. All of their locations have the same services, the same layout, same pricing and same welcoming atmosphere. This makes it easy to walk in and know what to expect, it makes me feel relaxed knowing there are no surprises you know. 90% of the time I just get my eyebrows threated and thats it. At this specific location I have only gotten eyebrows threated and I am happy with the results I get. They do require customers to wear a mask (which I am happy to comply with) and I do notice they sanitize the chair between each customer. There was once I went in there and they did not sanitize my chair when it was my turn to be attended *shifty eyes*. The girls working there are nice and friendly, they get the job done and I am in and out in less than 10 min at the most. I am always happy with how I look when I walk out. I look forward to all my visits to Glam India because they know brows. read more

i've gotten my eyebrows threaded here twice. the first time i got them threaded was a couple months ago, at the beginning of january right before i had to leave for college. i don't know if that was the owner or manager but she did my brows and they were great. today i got them done again, because i got them done at college but im back for break and there's some regrowth. today though, the owner/manager woman asked another girl to do my eyebrows (fyi there was no one in the whole salon for both these instances), who ended up making one of my brows too thin. she also didn't really work with keeping the direction of my eyebrow hairs in mind, and once she was done she just left all the hair all over my face. i had to pick it all off while looking in the mirror and she just watched me do that lol. before, i was handed a napkin to clean my face off which is like pretty standard. also, i don't know what the reason is, but last time i paid $7 and this time it was $9. idk if there's a specific reason for the price change or whatever, so im not super upset with that actually, just with the quality of service and the unevenness of my brows. read more

Glam India is my longtime and all time favorite place for all thing face... skin, brows, eyelashes. I recently decided I really needed my brows threaded and tinted. And that a facial might be nice. I've never done anything like that before, so I felt a little stressed about it, but my esthetician assured me that she'd be extra gentle and use gentle product. Ask for Supna! It's hard to find affordable eyebrow threading these days ($7!) so it was really refreshing to find this place. The staff are fast and know what they are doing. The facility is clean and comfortable. They also add some aloe vera to my eyebrows at the end which feels so nice. My eyebrows always end up nicely shaped and cleaned up. Definitely more than worth a visit! read more

Worst service of my life!! Would give 0 stars if I could. I waited for a little bit more then 30 mins. All I wanted is a thread in eyebrows, when I went the lady was such in a rush and so rude literally RUINED my eyebrows. She cut a chunk of my inner eyebrow leaving me with a little bald spot and left one of my eyebrows with a huge arch!! I have no idea how anyone can fix my eyebrows after this!! Oh man, I can't compliment this place enough!!! I have been having my eyebrows done since the eighth grade, and I have NEVER had them look this good! What I liked even more was how personable the employees are. Usually I walk in somewhere and they just do my eyebrows with no questions. This place literally sat down with me, and asked exactly how I wanted my eyebrows done. And oh man, this girl that did them was ON POINT! Not only did they perfectly thread my eyes rows. not happy with my last visit. i've been coming here for months and have never had a problem. in the middle of doing my brows she tells me i have a "gap". obviously i can't see as my eyes are closed so i just say okay and let her finish. at the end she shows me and there is a very noticeable gap in my right brow. i was growing them out so had a clear picture of both brows before going in where there is NO GAP. i ask her what is that and she wants to say i told you that you had a gap instead of taking accountability for messing up my brow. unbelievable. i will definitely not be coming back. read more

Very happy with the work Jamuna did on my eyebrow and upper lip threading. And she was very pleasant during the visit. This will be my new GO TO for threading. She also did a lovely job on my brow tint! The only reason I'm not leaving 5 stars is because of the henna tattoo I got. The artwork I wanted (found in their book) was a pretty design on my hand with ornate detailing on each finger. The result was sort of half what I'd asked for and half off-center "ran out of room" freehand. I was a bit disappointed since it was my first time getting henna (treated myself for my birthday party). It's still very nice and I don't want to sound too nit-picky, I just wanted the design I picked out and that's not what I got. My middle finger has a little too much going on so the design gets lost. read more

They took me right before closing and did a wonderful job, Rozy was awesome! Did them quick and was very sweet totally recommend!

This was my second visit here and I was a little disappointed. I told the technician that I didn't want my eyebrows to be thin. I just needed her to clean them up. She in turn threaded them thinner than what I wanted, and when I brought that to her attention, she tried to tell me that I wasn't clear enough or that I need to say no shape, but I said not thin. I just need them to be cleaned up. I didn't appreciate her trying to tell me I said it wrong or that I was wrong in what I wanted. I know what I said and I asked her to keep them thick as possible that they don't grow back quickly and I don't want them thin. read more

I was just gaslighted into believing that my eyebrows had a scar, when in all actuality, the tech cut a bald spot into my eyebrows with the thread. I have been getting threaded for more than 8 years and this was the most painful and worse experience of my life. I will never return. read more

This was my first experience with threading, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I had imagined, lol. I let my brows get a little wild since I knew I would be getting them threaded. The lady that did the threading was very nice, but when I showed her a picture of the shape I was wanting (angular arch, full shape) she responded with, "I'll try." Not exactly an auspicious start, I'm afraid. She broke 2 threads during the process, not sure if that is normal or not, but overall the sensation reminded me of someone aggressively scratching my brow, not exactly comfortable, but not painful either. My brows ended up more of a curved line, not much arch, and much thinner than I like. They don't look bad, but they aren't what I wanted, either. I don't think I will be back for that service anytime soon. However, she also did my upper lip, which was much more painful than the brows, but looks amazing! It was also only $5 for the lip, so I will be a regular customer for that service. read more

Least painful threading ever! Yesh took care of me: threading, lashes, tint. This was my first time getting lashes and tint - I am very happy at the result. They are also very welcoming and I was comfortable letting Yesh make the decisions on tint and lashes. Will be back! Update - synthetic lashes last about 48 hours where they don't look like crap. The few that don't fall out in that time start clumping together to make one itchy lash. Heavier by the day, any moisture whatsoever makes the the glue turn white and clump and it is all underneath the lashes. Had to get a full set twice in a week. Just took second set off with coconut oil; most of my actual lashes came out on my right eye, too, because the glue was so clumped and thick. Still 5 for the threading and tint. Would give 1 or 2 for the lashes. read more

If a customer is 5 mins late to the appointment, staff rudely tells customer, they should be on time next time. Jamuna did my eyebrows, the last time she did my eyebrows, completely messed up my shape keeping 1 extreme thin and the other thick. Unclean bathroom.
