No business sense, the woman is nasty for no reason on multiple occasions, and it was addressed after it happened again and was worse than the 1st time she was nasty to me. Most people would probably just stop going after the 1st time being mistreated. Then, a 2nd time that was even worse, definitely most people would have forgotten about them. I chose to talk to the guy to let him know. Surely, I'm not the only one this has happened to, so I'll be going elsewhere where they will not be nasty to me for no reason. They probably don't even know why regular customers leave them because most people wouldn't even address it to them directly. They are destroying their own business by mistreating regular customers. I have been going to the shop since it open I have known the owners and spending money with them for the past five years I have followed them from Dallas all the way to euless this week Tuesday I came into the shop to get a set of nails done as well as my toes I was able to get my nails done and had to come back the next day to get my toes done. One day later which was Friday by that time one of my nails had began to peel off from the bed not the tip so I called in to their shop a 12:30 to let them know I would be on my way I arrived at their shop at 1:26 I waited for a woman to get done with her nails and I asked Gwen could I cut in just to get my one nail fixed she told me yes after waiting another 30 minutes she did someone else's nails all in that time of me asking her husband Tony turned around and told me I could have went somewhere else to get my one nail fixed after I had already been back and forth to their shop two times this week this would make it my third time driving from Dallas to euless just to get their services because I have been a very loyal customer to them I told him I felt he was very rude and disrespectful for telling me that I also told him that I have been at this shop several times and have waited over an hour and 30 minutes for an appointment and they have let someone walk in the door and asked me to wait for them to do their one nail that needed to be fixed so I felt it was very wrong that I did not get the same treatment I did not leave out of their shop till 3:22 p.m. before I left Tony called his wife on the phone as he was picking up his children from school and told her to let me know no longer to come to their shop I also let her know that I was never planning on it I asked her would there be any more problems with my nails today is Saturday I have lost two more nails and just went to their shop yesterday to get an l fixed when Gwen did my nails on Friday she also put the incorrect powder to match my nail color I felt she did that on purpose carelessly because of the tension her and her husband were giving me already I would like anyone to know who is reading this to understand who you are dealing with and spending your money with I am a very loyal customer and have never once disrespected them or cussed them out in any way I have always supported them and their business I am a 27-year-old black woman who understands and knows when she's being treated poorly I will not be disrespected and I want anyone else who goes to their shop to understand that is not how you do customer service or treat people who come to you for a service. All in all after having a conversation with Gwen she felt like me spending $75 for my hands and toes driving back and forth from Dallas to euless three times was not worth fixing my one nail I'm also going to post pictures so you guys can see I feel like she purposely did not put enough acrylic on the one nail she did fix it was a bad service and experience all the way around the board and I am very disappointed in them read more

AWESOME (under new management)!! Your standard Solar, Acrylic, Dip or Gel fill can be done satisfactorily at most places. But I could not find a salon in this area that had a true nail designer/artist. Gwen creates designs that are chic, classy, funky, fun, avante garde - anything you want! I'll show her several pix of what I like, she'll show me pix of her past work, then I just let her use her imagination to create something I love. The service was great, although it felt a bit rushed due to more clients coming in with so little nail techs present. I will start off by saying this is the only place around me I have found that can do my nails the way I like them. The lady who does the nails is very talented. My only complaint is that sometimes Tony, the husband says things that could probably go unsaid. As well as, the pricing is never consistent. It seems like no matter what I get it's always $80. First review seems a tad harsh. Maybe not the snazziest nail salon but the nail technicians are friendly, very attentive and thorough. I've tried several places over the years, including meeting friends at their pedi places, while out of town, etc. and these pedis last the longest. They clean, trim and paint close to the base so nails don't look grown out as quickly. They're also fast when you need them to be, and more importantly, if you come in late after work they don't rush you if not completed (or won't complete) before closing. Oh and I believe it's clean. Equipment isn't in plastic bags like I've seen at some places but everything looks clean and I've never felt it's unsanitary. My preferred nail salon, affordable and reliable :) read more

I love coming here to get my nails and pedicure done. Most often Loanne (the owner) does my nails which always look wonderful. She never chastises my on the fact one or two may need replaced. She's so personable too and enjoys developing a connection with each of her clients. To her, clients are like family. Her associate Ms Julie, is so sweet and caring. This place was great when it first opened with the new owner Luanne. Don't get me wrong she's sweet, all the ladies are. But the quality of work isn't so great. I began with acrylics and started going natural with my nails, as they grew out to the length I wanted. The day Before leaving for vacation (Christmas Day) I went in knowing what I wanted and Luanne delivered. The next day my tip came right off. I was so frustrated I just filed my nail down to the length of the acrylic. I got my nails done on vacation and they were PERFECT! On Friday (1.15) I got my nails done. All natural just gel color and 2 designs. But the next day my nails began to turn a light shade of black. I couldn't stand it. So I called her up to see how to fix it. I made an appointment with Luanne. I ended up with a new color (keeping the design) and a new bill. The new color wasn't even close to the sample color on the nail wheel. I told her it wasn't even close to the pink I wanted she insisted that was the color. Already frustrated for being bounced around from lady to lady, I just wanted to get out of there. She said "No" to punching my nail card (the one they give you for coming often) I asked why and she simply said "no" I told her "but I paid for a service" she said "no cause it was only $10 next time she will punch it" I paid and walked out. I've come to the place all the time. She's kept the "grand opening" sign up since October. I know it attracts customers but you get what you pay for. Prices are great but the work isn't. I've brought my mom and sister for nail and wax services. I'm a loyal customer. I'm very disappointed in the service I received. I will be looking for another place to go to. *****UPDATE**** Well now my new color that she charges me for has peeled off and turning black. I've been going to Gwen and Tony since 2010 so when I finally found them again I was in heaven. My nails are always perfect when Gwen does them. Never have a issue of me not liking my nails. She always comes up with cute ways to do my nails. Most of the time I just let her freestyle. She's the best at it. I get many compliments when she freestyles my nails. Tony is great at pedicures. My feet look amazing every time. They both are perfectionist. Sometimes I'm on a time limit and I tell them they get the job done fast with no mistakes at all. Everything is perfect. If I could give them more then 5 stars I would. They are the best. And so friendly. read more

All the women do a fabulous job when it comes to pedicures! I have been going here for the last 4 months and always very satisfied!! My feet/legs always look and feel amazing when I leave! Every time I go to Chic Nails, I always leave underwhelmed with my nails. The husband is very talkative and funny but the wife isn't very friendly. I don't know why my nails are always so expensive because I usually just get long nails, but they always range from $55-$70. I understand certain nails should be that expensive but definitely not this place for the quality and atmosphere. I would recommend this place for pedicures, but not manicures. Every nail spa I've gone to has been a soothing environment, here they have a baby that screams in his crib every time I go in, and two young kids. My experience yesterday was pretty upsetting for how much I paid. I got long gel nails that were a basic light pink with a coffin shape that were $55. They were a tad overpriced in my opinion for my experience of having to constantly explain and correct what I wanted (which was just light pink nails). I've had them on for less than 24 hours and 2 have already broke. For $55 I wouldn't expect that. Not necessarily a bad place but also not a place I'd highly recommend. read more

Been here a couple times and thought they were wayyyy overpriced, but came back a few times because it was convenient. Today, I had a pedicure done by a girl who didn't know what she was doing and cut my toe till it bled. Then they had me wait for 45 minutes to get a simple solar one color fill. After waiting and finally asking how much longer it would be, they told me the girl who does fills wasn't there and nobody knew how to do a fill. It sure would've been nice to know that before I spent 2 hours in the salon on my day off. I will NOT go back. Solar nail spa off of main does a much better job and is cheaper and always has techs available who know what they're doing. read more

Great place! I have been here several times. Always great customer service. Very quiet and relaxing. My nails always last a long time never any lifting or cracking and I'm very hard on my nails as I work with my hands for a living. This is absolutely my favorite nail place by far and I will keep coming here. If you love on the area you would be crazy not to come here. read more
