I just walk in at 4:30pm I ask to have my nails removed and full set, they replay with we only do dip no acrylic, I ask for my nails only to be remove in the case, they were speaking their language which I know every time they do that they are taking about the client,but I understand so she told me I have no one available right now, is to late, I was willing to wait, but I guess they didn't like the idea of charge only to take off, looking at their hours they close at 6:30pm.... Honestly, if they don't know you they will over charge you and do the bare minimum. I just wanted a French manicure and ended up paying $50 for a half ass job. I went to Sky Nail Spa being new to the area and it being close by to my apartment. I got a mani/ pedi, they did it at the same time and it was nice, the ladies were super nice. I wish I could remember my manicurists name, because I want to go back to her. The first time I came Jennifer took me last minute and did an amazing job. She takes into consideration the direction my nails grow and size of my fingers. I get dipped on my real nails with an oval shape but with a sharper point. I tried to come 3 weeks later on 2 different days as a walk-in. First day I was turned away by Jessica and was told to come back tomorrow. I returned the next day same time and she told me they couldn't do it and would have to wait an hour, I left. So the 3rd time I decided to make an appointment. I arrived and had to wait 20 minutes (fine) Jessica did an awful job, my nail plate was never fully covered with powder so my nails are partially painted, she didn't even get close to my cuticle so now my nails already look like they have a week of growth, she drew blood on 3 of my fingers from sawing with the file so every time they used the activator and top coat it burned, my nails were completely oval, lumpy, and uneven, and there was no top coat on any of my free edges. She either didn't want to do my nails or just wasn't skilled. When she was finished, Jennifer was available and she did her best to fix them by reshaping them completely but she could only do so much and my cuticles weren't even ground off so she did the best she could. Of course I wasn't compensated and was there for a total of 2.5 hours and now I have to deal with the cuts on my fingers until they heal which makes my job complicated. As other ppl walked in for manicures, they were turned away...They're completely understaffed for manicure services. Don't even bother coming here unless you can get an appointment with Jennifer or if it's for pedicure services. She's also pregnant so I don't know what this salon is going to do when she's on maternity leave. ***UPDATE*** I couldn't even finish my basic routine after my service. Soap, hair and skin products, burned the cuts on my fingers. I called the next day and asked for my money back and Jessica agreed to refund my money, she also recommended I find another salon because Jennifer will be on maternity leave soon. read more

I used to like coming to this facility. The nail techs that worked on me did great. Even if I didn't like my set I still tipped great. However, the past few times I went, there was a reason why they couldn't accept my walk in. I drive 30 minutes to get here so I find that very shady and unprofessional, especially when I see multiple employees not doing anything. Recommend calling before showing up. This was my first time going to Sky nails and I'm very happy I did. I normally go across the street to Grand Nails but I wanted to try somewhere else, mostly because they're overpriced. I opted for the Milk and Honey Pedi, $46, and totally worth every penny. Helen was AMAZING! The massage was very relaxing and she was very sweet, making sure I was always comfortable and that water or towels weren't too hot. My cherry on top was that they offered Apple Pay, which was so convenient seeing as how I had forgotten my purse at home. Overall I'm happy and recommend to anyone. I'll be back! read more

I would give them a better rating because the environment was nice and the lady that did my feet was sweet but the fact that I told them exactly what services I wanted and was told they could do it, only to turn around and tell me after 1/2 my service was done that they could not do the other service! I go to get a pedicure and while I was sitting there decided to get a manicure as well! But not even halfway through the pedicure it went so badly that I knew this would be the last time I'd go there. I had a guy who I think was new, only because the lead tech kept coming by and correcting him and other techs would also suggest he do things differently. He was very nice, but I sincerely wish he would not have done my pedicure. The worst part is he didn't not know how to shape my nails at all. I don't do anything crazy, just a natural look. He kept messing up and correcting my big toenails until there was almost nothing left! I wanted to cry, they look so short and stumpy like I pick at them or something. It makes me so disappointed because now to even correct them at another salon or at home I have to wait for them to grow! They just look so bad, I wanted to cry, I had to quickly thank him then tell him I didn't want to manicure and pay. Pedi day with my boyfran. I've been yelping all thursday for a salon with good service/nail techs , because i didn't want to pay $100 for crap. I paid $125 + $30 for good service, relaxing leg/hand massage, and PEACE. Probably the first salon to not ask about my life. I don't have a huge problem with it, I love the fact that I could just relax and enjoy the pedi. My treated my boyfriend to the coconut scrub ( $55) and I got the same as well. I love the way it made my skin feel, but would I get it again? maybe. It was more like a treat day for that kind of thing. The price is more based on the massage. $55 for 25 mins + scrub,lotion,etc. As good as a $25 mins foot massage sounds... I personally should've got the 15 mins or less, I'm not really the massage hype. My boyfriend is... so i was happy to see him pass out. The ladies that did work on us was super nice, and I like the fact that mine was gentle with me. So nail techs do their thing with a lot of force, and its soon painful. The boss kept checking on us, we had tiny complementary water bottles, and a massage chair. I loved it all. I'm so happy to see a nail salon with great reviews, so i could find this place. Nothing is rushed. The prices are right in line where I believe they should be. More importantly, everyone is so nice and polite! They remember names, they even remember colors and dip numbers which is pretty amazing and a nice touch. The nail technicians here at Sky nail spa are great very friendly. However last week I went to get my nails done, I let her know at that time that they were too thin and miss shaped. And that none of the nails were even they are very thin at the tips which acrylic should not be or they will break like two of mine have already. They broke by barely touching something which shows that they were extremely too thin which I let the technician know at the time that I was there. I also let the technician know that some of the nails were not shaped correctly four of my nails are misshapen and do not match the other nails on my opposite hands. The day that I did get my nails done last week I did not have time to go through either getting them redone or getting my refund so I said I would come back later to speak with the manager as she was not there so that I could get my money refunded so that I can get my nails done elsewhere, somewhere more professional. I went back yesterday to speak with the manager who I was told was not there... Today I go back to speak with the manager I was greeted by the same woman claiming that she was in fact the manager. My nails are an absolute mass and the best she could do for me after spending over $50 getting my nails done was give me a $15 gift certificate, to a salon I refuse to go back to do to the actor that they were unprofessional and told me that my misshapen, Extremely too thin at the tips, nails were fine and that if I was unhappy she would fix the nails that were broken. I then let her know I did not want to come back to her salon which is when she offered me the $15 when I spent over $50 there getting these done badly, Manager claims that she was there the day I came in and I was happy with them which is not true she was not there. I will not be going back to the salon and as they're extremely unprofessional and the manager is very rude and refused to give me my money back for my nails that were messed up and done incorrectly by one of her employees. The first photo r resembles a few others that are supposed to be coffin shaped the tips of my nails, the top layer is already peeling off which should not be happening after five days. As you can see in the pictures, none, absolutely none of these nails are the same shape. Would not recommend this place. These nails were supposed to be coffin shaped and none of them are shaped properly at all. Also the design work on the accent nail is sloppy. read more
