My technician, Nhi, was detail-oriented and precise but also finished my manicure in about an hour (which is pretty efficient if you have to soak the previous powder off!). Shape is perfect!!! A solid 1.25 star experience and definitely one of my top three worst nail salon experiences. A Vegas girl here visiting to check out the area since I'll be moving here within the next 2-3 months. Didn't have time to go to my normal nail tech back home and decided to come here because they had great reviews on Yelp. Big mistake. Came in as a walk-in and asked if they had time to do a Lavish Me "Voesh" spa gel pedi and express gel mani. I was seated pretty quickly and noticed that everything was rather outdated. Color selection for gel nails is very small and I had to ask by name for the specific color I wanted, that wasn't originally offered. The lady doing my pedicure seemed hangry and was rushing through it, even though I opted for a pedicure service that was considered "spa." I will mention that she did a good job with the nail polish. I had a different lady doing my manicure and that was an even bigger disappointment. I had my nails already almond shaped before I came it, she filed it and made it a mash-up of crooked almond/oval nails. Wish she had left my shape alone. As she was trimming my cuticles, she cut me and I started bleeding. I obviously felt it and knew it was going to be bleeding, but it took her awhile to realize I was bleeding. She used a green solution to dab at it which burned like hell. The paint job is horrible with bubbles everywhere. My cuticle line is atrocious and she managed to paint my skin in numerous places, just look at the pictures. The edges are all jagged which is pretty clear in the pictures as well. Not sure how this place has a good star rating on Yelp, but I'm also aware that you can pay to have reviews removed so that's that. 10/10 do not recommend this salon and definitely will not be my go-to when moving here. This visit was not worth $116 (not including tip) in my opinion and I'm not sure how they got that total because my calculations did not add up to that. read more

I would honestly suggest driving down the road to a nicer salon because you will probably pay less money and you can at least feel like you are being spoiled. I received a gift card for a mani/pedi from work for this salon and they even called and set up an appointment for the services. When I got there, there were no workers present at the store for my scheduled appointment and there was note asking customers to call so they could come back so I called...The service portion was okay. I got an french tip acrylic fill and well let's just say I've never had a fill like that before. The nude/pink potion of some of my nails have this weird blemish and the white tip that cost $15 is not covering the entire tip of my nail and honestly looks like crap. I probably would have said something to have it corrected if the entire appointment didn't take 3.5 hours. I'm all for a good relaxation spot, but this was almost exhausting. The reason for the one star review, is that the gift card I received should have included a tip for the services but they did not tell me that. I am attaching the receipt from the purchaser so you can see what I mean. Why would you allow someone to book an appointment for a specific service and include a tip for the services scheduled and then 1) not be there at the time of the appointment and 2) pocket TWO tips from both the purchaser of the gift cards and myself? I came here yesterday on a whim because I really needed a pedicure and this so happened to be near by! I'm so glad I came. The lady was so lovely! She was so thorough with everything and she took her time! It did not feel rushed what so ever like other salons. It was only her working by herself so she was really holding down the little salon all on her own and I respect that honestly. I got the lavish pedicure, and expressed that I really needed to get all the crusty, dusty, musty stuff (my dry skin lol) off the back of my feet AND let me tell you, SHE DID THAT! She really understood the assignment. Would definitely recommend this place. I came to Hetana's for a way overdue pedicure and to have time with my friend. We are both new to town, so I researched places and saw they had good reviews, so we made appointments. We were seen right away, chose our service, nail colors and started the massaging chairs. To say the pedicure was great is an understatement. The angel that worked magic on my neglected feet, gave me a pedicure that went beyond my wildest expectations. She was skilled in all facets of giving a pedicure, but the way she she massaged my calfs, then added the hot stones, (sigh) I melted. Warm paraffin was icing on the cake, I was so relaxed I was glad I wasn't the one driving. My only regret? I did not get the name of my nail tech to I sure I always receive such outstanding service. The prices were very reasonable, the nail salon was clean, all products used were single use only, so no cross contamination. If I could give them 10 stars I would. This place is tucked away near downtown Grapevine. I went on a Saturday morning and was excited to see there was no wait. This place is no frills. The normal wine or mimosa was not offered to me, and I was the only person there. (I was ok with this, as I don't usually partake even at nicer salons.) At first, I was skeptical due to the lack of customers. There was a very busy restaurant next door with lots of traffic outside. However I wasn't complaining because I got some amazing service. I was offered a warm compress for my neck and the chairs were nice with a built in massage. I chose a $45 lavender pedicure. The nail technician rocked my world. She took her time, and I felt like I received white glove treatment. She did hot towels twice, paraffin wax treatment, a hot stone massage, along with an amazing 20 minute foot/calf massage. Wowza. They had a great choice of high quality polishes, and she made my heels as good as new. I would definitely go back as long as you aren't expecting a pretentious atmosphere like many newer nail salons offer that don't actually include a fantastic experience. read more
