When I politely asked how much longer it would be, her response was snippy and unprofessional. She even asked, "Why? Do you have somewhere else you need to be?" I explained that I had another appointment and would need to call and push it back. Her only response was an annoyed sigh. I had to decline an originally planned part of my service because the new product (an only option) used has something I'm allergic to in it. Throughout the service, she barely spoke to me and only offered to count down halfway through the wax appointment. It was more painful than usual and felt very rushed. Her overall demeanor made me feel like she was annoyed to be there--or at least annoyed to be working with me. To make matters worse, it has been two days since my appointment and I have not received any follow-up survey, which is usually standard. This is not the level of professionalism I expect, and it made the entire visit uncomfortable. I doubt I will return to this establishment and will definitely decline service from this technician.

Every time I leave an appointment with her, I feel good, my hair looks great, and the highlights blend very naturally with my extensions. I highly recommend Mady and the salon is very cute and in a great location.

They were gentle with the care and made sure to check in all the way until the service was complete. They were clean as well, which is usually my first look-over. The seat I was on was comfortable and came with your go-to chair massage. They were not overly busy, but they didn't seem to have a large staff, so I suggest making an appointment despite walk-ins being welcomed. I paid $45 for the lava massage, which came with a foot massage, leg massage, hot stone, and a scrub. I opted for regular nail polish; there will be an upcharge for additional services, so, as usual, keep a tab on what you ask for. They do serve drinks and have a 2-drink per customer limit. Happy to have found a place closer to home.

I visited Sugaring NYC in Flower Mound for an eyebrow wax and an eyelash lift and tint, and I'm…read moreextremely disappointed in the services I received. My technician, Taylor, openly admitted she had to practice on herself when she saw an eyelash lift on her schedule--something no paying customer should hear. She didn't provide any aftercare instructions, and when I asked how long the results would last, her vague response was "it just depends how much oil-based products you use," which offered no real guidance. I don't use any, so this answer was especially frustrating. When the appointment was over, I truly couldn't tell what she did to my eyelashes as there was no difference from when I walked in to the end of my appointment. Not to mention, I had glue left all over my eyelids and tint dye smeared around my lash line and face, pictures attached. My brows still had wax residue, and sugar was matted into my hair. When I sat up, my hair was literally stuck to the table. I regret paying for these services and would not recommend this location to anyone for the services I received. The lack of professionalism and basic technique was shocking.

Worst experience and ZERO customer service - I came here a…read moremonth ago and had one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. My esthetician was so rough that she left me bruised (I've been sugared many times and never bruise), admitted the bikini area "makes her nervous," and even left used sugar stuck in my eyebrow, on my shirt, and all over my legs. I submitted feedback through their internal review system, and they told me the esthetician was fired because of my appointment. I was promised a partial refund (even though the service deserved a full one), and nearly a month later I'm still waiting--despite calling four times to follow up. Each time I've been met with excuses and zero urgency to make things right. To make matters worse, one staff member told me they had never received complaints about this esthetician, while another admitted there had been many. Looking at other reviews on Yelp, it's clear my experience wasn't an isolated incident. I literally never write reviews but this business has shown me the worst customer service I've ever encountered, and I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their time or money here.
