If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Bait & switch scam - I would not recommend this place. I have had services at G-Nails multiple times for dip powder and acrylic manicures, but after this experience, I will not be returning. I requested a basic pedicure and was quoted $31 on the phone. I also asked for dipped nails or acrylic, which would cost between $40-$50, depending on the color- cool. I was indecisive about the color at first, but the technician, Nichole, suggested the color on her nails, which I liked and agreed to. However, when she applied the powder, it was a bright fluorescent pink like some people get with French nails, not the milky white-pink color on her nails. When I asked her to remove it to reschedule due to already postponing my reservation, she gave me attitude and talked under her breath as well as another technician chiming in saying it's the same color but has been worn for two weeks. - I may not get my nails done often but I am not an idiot-I understand it is a lot of work to redo but she did not do the color as I asked. I was charged $56 for the removal of the nails and gel, in which I did not request, and she tried to charge me for her time... I had already waited almost two hours for my pedicure. And did not feel it was appropriate as she did not do as I asked for my nails. The pedicure was tacky and there is polish left on my skin. I did walk out due to her trying to overcharge me. The police were called and a report was filed so I was forced to pay for a service that I did not request nor want. I did end up paying $46 - for the gel when I did not want it. Nichole argued with me stating "I know the difference" - honestly I did not & wanted to pay the $31 for a basic pedicure. I had initially liked Nichole, but this experience was the worst I have had. read more

We came here on Christmas eve after a 6 year break from this location as my last experience was not great. To my surprised we really enjoyed it here. We showed up 30 mins before they closed and they took us in. I asked for the deluxe pedicure. The gentleman who did my feet took his time on me to my surprise as they closed in 30 mins. They were all kind and offered us drinks. I stuck with water though since I am expecting. I chose the lavender scent and enjoyed my pedicure. All I wanted to do was sleep in the comfortable chair. Ha! Both my hubby and I enjoyed our pedicure and I'll definitely be back. My feet feels so good even days after getting them done. read more

I stopped into this nail shop after work on Monday evening around 4:55PM and was very surprised that I was able to be seen within 15 minutes. As soon as I walked in, Sam greeted me and asked what I was wanting to get done. I told him that I wanted dip and he told me to go ahead and pick my color. They have so many colors to pick from and they are easily accessible for you to view them. Once I was seated and looking through the colors, a very nice lady came and asked me if I would like something to drink. I asked for a sprite and she brought it to be promptly and it was ice cold. That's a plus. Some nail shops provide drinks but they aren't cold. Sam was finishing up with another client but as soon as he was done, he called me to his station. Everything was nice and neat and he got started right away. I've been getting dip for a long time now and I know exactly how I like it done. I didn't have to tell him to change anything. He even pushed back my cuticles and trimmed them (very impressed). He asked me if I wanted them cut instead of just doing it. I thought that was very professional and thoughtful. He talked with me the entire time and made me laugh. I told him that it was my first time stopping in and he told me thank you. My nails are beautiful and I had a beautiful experience and will be going back as a regular and requesting Sam. read more

I visited G nails on a Sunday, as a new client, but not new to acrylic nails. I have worn these babies for 15 years so I am pretty picky when it comes to how I like my nails done, and G nails did a terrific job. The salon is well kept, clean and doesn't smell like a typical nail salon. There are TV's playing softly, several manicure stations, and about 8 pedicure stations in the back. I walked right in for my nail-fill, was greeted, seated and offered a drink...complimentary wine?! It was Sunday morning after all (darn!) so I just stuck with my diet coke. A young man, Nick, waited on me and was very careful to shape my nails just the way I liked them. Going from square cut to almond shape is a VERY BIG DEAL YA'LL! He was very gentle in his filing, and buffing manner which I really appreciated because this process can really give me the heebie-jeebies. He then polished my nails, and made sure to check they were dry before I went on my way. I was rather impressed with the price for a fill here... only fifteen dollar, as opposed to the twenty I spend at my regular salon which is closed on Sundays for the fall and winter. The next day I discovered I did not ,in fact, like silver grandma colored nails so I went back for a color change. They happily obliged, but charged me a five dollar fee... something I would not have paid for at my other salon had I returned in just a days time. On this visit however, I took my three year old with me to get her nails polished and she picked out not one, not two, but THREE colors. They were very patient with her three-year-old-indecisiveness and then happily manicured her cute little chubby hands orange, purple and lime green for seven dollars. I just moved to the area and needed a new place to get my nails done. I checked all the reviews for the nail salons near me and this one, by far, had the best reviews. I walked in and was immediately seen, although it was 10:30am on a friday, so there wasn't many customers there to begin with. I am in love with my nails and my tech filled and shaped them beautifully. (it's +$5 to shape them like almonds) However, she had done A LOT of damage to the skin around my nail with the sandpaper dremel and the buffer block. It's been four days and my skin still hurts when I wash or submerge them in water. I would like to give this place another try, maybe with a different nail tech. The price is considerably cheap compared to what I was paying! Again, my nails are BEAUTIFUL. The skin around my nails isn't. read more

This time even better Lynn took her times with my nails like seriously. She did everything I could think of even did my cuticles. The shape is on point. This isn't the color I asked for though. BUT the man who did my nails was severely rough with them, he was in a rush and wanted to get them done as fast as possible, and didn't consider my comfort. I also brought my sister, who is 6, to get her nails simply painted. (Reminder: she's 6) Her nails were painted and she was being careful with them but her pointer finger nail polish slid off. (She didn't wipe it off, it SLID off.) He made multiple comments about how I need to make her not move, which literally wasn't the cause of the problem. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place had the audacity to not treat my cuticles while doing a full set on me. I've never been to a nail salon that will charge you an extra 15$ to do a manicure and then on top charge for a full set of nails. When you get a full set it shouldn't be just add the fake nails and the polish. Your cuticles have to be treated as well if not your hands look ugly. After back and forth with this place already half way done with my nails, they refused to finish my nails simply because I asked them to treat my cuticles as well. And then sent me off with my nails half done, not finished and not offering to remove the work that was already done. Please don't come here and risk walking out with ugly cuticles and a half ass of work done. read more

My thumb nails are comically short. After telling the tech 3 times I wanted the other nails shorter to match how short he made my thumbs, I finally gave up. He repeated each time that "they are even" when they most certainly are not. I normally tip, even when they dont look great because they may just ne having a day, but this time I did not seeing as he denied my request several times. I'm already self conscious of how my thumbs look and this just makes is sooo much better (sarcasm). On top of that, he had just finished doing a neon pink dip for another gal and then began on my WHITE nails... you can guess where this is going. I have bright pink specks in my nails and pasted to the underside of my nails. The white isn't even opaque, and the shapes are uneven and same with length. I've had a pedi twice...each time I called for an appointment for 2 people. We never had to wait for our techs were available and ready. I don't like how other places take your appointment but still make you wait over 10 mins before a tech was available. The deluxe lemon drop had real lemon wedges ...not slices ..wedges in the spa ! A very nice touch. I've only seen this at the Four Seasons. Thi , Tammy and Minh did a great job and we had a wonderful afternoon. I liked the text reminder and the "Thank you" text after I left. I know it's automated but I appreciate them spending their money to remind me of my appointment and the thank you text allows you to give feedback. Sadly I didn't even get to get the manicure I was looking for. I walked in and within two minutes my eyes, nose and throat were burning so much I had to leave. The chemical smell was unbearable. It's been 30 minutes and my nose is still on fire and I now have a headache from it. Someone should report the lack of ventilation to the powers that be. read more

Service was super quick which I loved, however my dip manicure turned out looking more like a gel manicure. When you get dip frequently you can tell the difference. The price for a dip manicure is $35, which is what most places charge if not more. read more

I had them taken off and left, went to somewhere in Uptown to have them fixed but still have scabs from the lady at G Nails 4 days later. I've been to this place several times and have had decent experiences (nothing amazing) until today. Less than a week ago I went in for my normal mani and gel pedi, but Jasmine wasn't working. Pressed for time, I allowed another lady to complete the service. 1st... she did a less than mediocre job on the pedicure and when I asked her to clean up the skin around a couple of toes she proceeded to say that's why I should have gotten the deluxe as if cutting the nails and cuticles is not a basic service during a pedicure. 2nd... when she did the gel mani I noticed that she did not put a clean gel polish base coat but insisted that whatever liquid she used would bind the polish enough. Well... here we are less than a week later. I called to let the owner know I was just there a week ago and the polish has already come off and asked of Jasmine was working tonight. He abruptly said no she'll be in tomorrow. I explained that I'm going out of town and would like to schedule an appointment and he hung up the phone without responding. This level of customer service is absurd. I was willing to pay full price because I just needed to get them redone tonight and the fact that he hung up the phone so rudely and abruptly is the reason I will not patronize this business again. read more

My bestie and I walked in today after being turned away by solar nail spa and nail art in Euless. This place was great. They stated that there would be a 20 minute wait but actually got us right in. The staff was absolutely amazing. We were offered beverages upon being seated and opted for the hot stone pedicures. Both of our pedicures were great. Our technicians were extremely thorough and gentle. They also gave us great massages. I'm happy the other two places turned us away because this is definitely our new spot. I will not go back and don't recommend it. They have a different fee for kids pedicure, but charged me as an adult. I wanted to put gel nail polish with a flower design on my daughter'a nails. They did it, but every single nail polish fell off on the second day. I have this kind of nail polish at home and usually it stays at least for 2 weeks. They charged me $70 only for her and the lowest tip that I could leave was $20. The chairs were old and uncomfortable. The employees spoke their language that was not very polite. I loved this place! I'm always on a search for a good pedicure place and I found it. I came in on a Saturday and was seen right away. I liked the variety of colors including colors with glitter. I wasn't sure what it would look like, I've seen glitter polish before but whatever this wizardry was, it was awesome. Very happy w the result. The main test of a good nail salon, is can I sit back and read during the process...and yes! I was able to just sit back, read and relax. My nail technician was not rushed, gave me the best leg message ever and did not cause any type of pain or discomfort. Price is average, I paid 35 for a lavender pedicure.
