Well guys.. had my nails done on March 16 right before all was closed. I have a desk job and typing ALL day. Washing dishes and cooking in the evening. I also scrapbook and work in the flowerbed. I just had one of the best pedicures it was called a strawberry margarita pedicure amazing massage along with a really nice manicure that the color matched I also got 20% off because all of these special ending at the end of next month I'm definitely returning to this place and luckily it's right next door to one of my favorite sushi restaurants suzushii sushi. read more

I had been to this salon many times but only for pedicures. I had broken one nail (pink & white) and needed a fill as well. Immediately when the technician glued the replacement tip on I told her it was up way too high on my nail bed. She said no that it was fine and you wouldn't be able to tell once she was finished. I told her that I have been getting my nails done for almost 2 decades and never seen this done. She just acted like she didn't hear me while exchanging eye rolling glances with the shop manager. The manager is the slender young one that has a couple of kids that are often at the salon. She also speaks English very well. When she was finished it looked RIDICULOUS! The white was up waaaay to high and it was much skinnier than the rest. I pointed this out and they blamed it on my nail and refused to fix it. I asked her if it was worth it to lose a customer over a $3 nail. They just shrugged their shoulders and charged me anyway. I live in Austin but my whole family lives right around the corner. I will never be coming back and not will 4 cousins, an uncle and a sister in law that I have introduced to them over the past 2 years! YOU GUYS ARE HORRIBLE! read more

I absolutely LOVE this place! I was unhappy with my previous nail person and took a chance by walk-in on a Friday morning. Exxcel uses superior products!! I've had acrylic nails for about 30 years and had to take them off for a new set about 2 or three times a year. Not anymore. The solar fill it wonderful and I never see the lines of the nail growing out. I've had the same set on for about a year and they look as fabulous as the day I had them put on!! The pedicures are AWESOME!! When you get the Exxcel signature you get your choice of scents and I always get an extra massage. I recommend an appointment as opposed to walk-in. The salon is clean and I adore the staff! You have a customer for life!! read more

Not the best experience. I hate when you ask for something and you given something more expensive and it doesn't even look as good as what you asked for. I wanted the same as what was on the first picture on this website. Instead she gave me solar nails which I DID NOT ask for and the solar didn't even cover my entire nail. They also weren't eventually shaped. I was so over it I just paid and left. They usually do nails really nice and pretty. read more

If I could give this "salon" 0 stars. .I would. So it's the day before my graduation I have family flying in and a million things to do. So my wonderful husband treats me to a day at the salon (he paid for mani, pedi, facial + tip in advance). So I go in to relax...yeah..not so much! They put me in the chair put my feet in the water...that's all of the service that I received in AN HOUR. Yep, you heard me right..I sat there alone with my feet in cold water for an hour. At the point when no one even bothered to come over and let me know why I was being ignored I decided to leave (although they continually walked back & forth in front of me). My husband had to actually drive to the store to get his refund. I have never in my life felt like people have gone out of their way to avoid me as much as they did...pretty much ruined my entire day. Needless to say I will NEVER be returning! read more

The guy at the front desk was on some kind of computer game or Skype. I told him I needed a pedicure, facial, and eyebrow wax. He told me to do pedicure first and then facial. Then in the middle of pedicure, he tells me that there would be no time until 5 for my facial. Had he told me beforehand, I would have gone elsewhere for all services. This is the 5th time I've been in and the service is about the same as today unless you get the only lady who speaks clear English. I went today to get a pedicure and dip nails done. They were doing my pedicure and it was good I would not say great but I believe it was because the guy came and started to do my nails. Well he take the machine and starts taking my polish off. it hurt, on the second nail I ask what he was doing. He said I take off GEL. I said its dip you are supposed to soak it off. so he puts both of my hands in acetone and sat the bowl in my lap!! They clearly do not know what they are doing!! The manager tried to tell him something and he just hollared at her. My nails look horrible everyone was watching. They offered no appoligy nothing. Needless to say I will NEVER step foot back in there. read more

They are pretty pushy when you first get there, but if you sit and talk with them they become 100% nicer. Decent quality, I just had fake nails put on and a polish so nothing complicated--hard to go wrong with that. My two girlfriends also came but were very unsatisfied. HUGE plus: Free open bar haha. I probably would've only given it 3 stars if it wasn't for my gin drinks, margarita and wine :D read more

I was pretty outraged when i left this salon. I went in for a powder dip manicure and a pedicure. I have no complaints about my pedicure i enjoyed it very much, but i had the single worst manicure ive ever experienced. She seemed like she had no idea what she was doing so it took her AGES to complete. My nails were filed all lopsided and jagged. There were flaws (streaks, ugly cracks, specks of color, and little pieces of lint) in the color itself and it looks incredibly goopy. She kept sticking her nail file into the color powder!! And to top it all off im in a lot of pain due to her destroying 5 OUT OF 10 of my cuticles with the filer. I had to tell her three times to be more careful as i was literally BLEEDING towards the end of the manicure. Icing on the cake? I spent $90 on my visit. Now i have to go to another salon to have my nails corrected as im sure as hell not going two weeks with nails that look like a toddler did them. read more
