I've been here 3 times now. First two times I got a full gel manicure. The first manicure lasted almost a month, and was gorgeous! The second time, my polish started peeling off in less than a week. I went back today to have that failed manicure cleaned. The tech was nice, but while removing the polish, she burned my nails, multiple times. I think she had her drill tool turned up too high. She did a good job trimming my cuticles, but left several of my nails with sharp and uneven corners. I will try again in a few weeks, and hope that I can get results like I did on my first visit. The staff is very sweet, so I'll give them another chance. read more

EXCITED!!!!!!!!! I found a gem. It is so hard for me to locate the perfect nail tech. I love it here. I had acrylic application over my own nails and the tech gave me the perfect shape to round my nail bed which would otherwise be flat and ugly. That takes skill and not a rush job. I like to grow my own nails out and I'm not a fan of dip. However, they do an excellent job with all designs and application types as well as great pedicures. Yen does my nails. One look at my cuticles and she knew exactly what to do. DIDNT DISAPPOINT. My second trip here and now my nail home for both pedi and nails!! not over crowded. Hurry up and pack the house. read more

I hope nobody gets the same experience I received here. I had a very frustrating and unprofessional experience here. I called ahead to confirm they had time for both a pedicure and dip powder and was told yes. I arrived at 2:20 pm. After checking in, another customer came in shortly after me. Since I only got a basic pedicure, I finished first. The tech filed off the top coat and left my nails soaking in acetone for so long that all of the dip powder was gone (no hot towel or attention was given to my hands during this time). Meanwhile, I noticed the other customer (who arrived after me) was already getting her acrylics done. Then I was finally told I'd need to wait another 10-15 minutes, I decided to leave. By 4:00 pm almost two hours later the only service I had received was an express pedicure. I paid for my service and I even left a tip. This was unprofessional and a complete waste of time read more

I have been coming to this nail spa for 19 years and it's the only place I will go to get my mani and pedis. The customer service is amazing they always call me by name and offer drinks. Everyone is so professional and they keep the spa so clean. My favorite nail tech is Donna. I've been coming here to get my nails done twice a month for the last six months. The last time I called to book an appointment, the owner told me the nail tech refused my appointment. He never asked how the nail tech's work was for me, and I've never complained the service. It seems like he doesn't care about customers. I mentioned another nail tech I liked, but he said he didn't know who that was. I'm totally confused and frustrated--it feels like they don't want my business at all. I'm not coming back. Horrible horrible place. Me, my mom, and sister went in for manicures and pedicures and it took 3 hours. The lady who did my manicure was burning my fingers with the file and causing my cuticles to bleed. I told her mulitple times to change the setting because it was painful and she wouldn't until i pulled away my hands and demanded she stop. She didnt even clean around my nails or shape them correctly and was about to paint them when there was still old gel on them. I told her to stop in the middle of the manicure because it was so horrible it seemed like her first time doing nails. The pictures are how my nails were when I left the salon - how they were when she was about to paint over them!!! Literally awful. The shape isn't what I wanted either, my toes look crooked even after expressing that to the tech. Been here for a year and let me tell you, it is difficult to find a good nail tech that does a good job, does what you want (design and all) and takes care of you. I LOVE it here and have never had an issue.. It gets busy so be sure to call ahead and make an appointment. All of the workers always make me feel welcomed. I drove all the way from burleson!!! They offer a complimentary drink (before covid there were several different options however I believe currently they are only offering water). They keep the place consistently clean. Plexiglasses are up to protect them and the clients. Brand new files/brushes for each person and they let you take it home. Wiping down station after each client leaves. Athena does my nails and honestly I would follow her anywhere to get my nails done. I never want anyone else to do my nails ever again! I'll include some of the work she's done. And im always 100% satisfied. Highly recommend!! She's magic. When you can, tip in cash. They do take walk-ins, but most of the time during peak time (time people get off work or nearing a holiday) it is a longer wait. read more

I was a customer of Eva's for probably close if not over five years. Took numerous family members and friends here. They do have some tech's that do amazing work but the prices are high. My relationship with them ended on one appointment I had with my normal nail tech Athena. When my daughter and I arrived, I could tell something was up with her. For as long as she has done my nails, she was very quiet and looked super annoyed. I tried to make small talk so we could begin our normal conversation about our kids and such but she was really standoffish. So I took the hint and remained quiet except when she begin filling too deep into my sensitive, thin nails. When I was done, I went to go pay and was surprised that I was charged even more than what I should have. But I didn't say anything. I tipped on the excessive amount and scheduled my next appointment. The next day I was called by Lac and told that my appointment needed to be canceled. Thinking that maybe there was a conflict on their end, I asked for another date. I was told that Athena did not want to do my nails anymore. I was completely shocked and pressed for an explanation. I was told she just didn't want to do my nails anymore since I expected flawless nails. Even though I was really confused and upset, especially since nothing was mentioned the night before and I was allowed to schedule an appointment, I asked if there was someone else who could take over the appointment. I was told no, that no one wanted to work with me. I was in complete shock because I had only worked with three nail techs the entire time of being a customer. Apparently, Athena went around telling people bad, inaccurate information about me while she was in a mood. The way the entire situation was handled was unprofessional and very inappropriate but should not have been surprising. Because throughout the years, I've seen many fights and arguments between customers and the staff. I never thought that would happen to me being that I was a loyal customer. But it did. Not before I was overcharged. There are better places with better techs at a more reasonable price point with far better customer service than what is offered here. If you do become a customer of theirs, I would highly recommend having a back up nail tech at another salon. read more

Eva spa follow covid guidelines very well. I've been here two time between hot hour and monday morning. They've always been very informative with what I want/need although it's a little pricey. Monday morning was with Donna and they provide brush, file, etc. I loved the sage green so much but I don't remember what was the name! It had a little sparkle too it, very dim but very pretty. Donna was very gentle and took her time with me although my nails came out bulky. However, my nail beds are small so it happens sometimes. I like how she made my finger look a little fat with the coffin shape, although they weren't all even. Total was 48 with and fake nails. Wednesday evening was with Lucy and there was no brush, file etc. provided. They probably ran out because I called in that morning and no one pick up. Lucy surprisingly took her time but was pretty swift too. Her shaping wasn't bulky and the coffin was very pretty but a little too skinny for me. Also the thumb was a little short, but the coffin shape was nicely even and neat. Total was 43 of dip with fake nails. Both time I've been here, my nail technicians was very nice and talkative. I want to try out with everybody so I don't think I'll have a favorite nail technician. It's a pricey place but they get the job done well so. 5/5 recommend! read more

**Review for Eva Nail Spa** I have been a loyal customer of Eva Nail Spa for over 7 years, but today marks my last visit. My experience today was the worst I've ever had. Michael, the technician, allowed my nail beds to burn while applying the acrylic. Despite my discomfort, he told me to hold on and then got up, throwing his hands in the air as if it were my fault. It took over 5 minutes for him to get alcohol to cool down my nails. The high cost of services here is no longer justifiable with such poor treatment. Additionally, this is the same place that dealt with a previous racial issue where the owner posted something offensive about African Americans on social media. This place has been around for over 10 yrs plus. I have been going here for that long and wouldn't change that for anything, I love the people there. The door guy has always been so nice and the owner is nice too and remembers me everytime I see her. They have great nail techs and pedicure techs way too many to name. I've come here about 3 times in the past 2-3 years since I don't really get my nails done that often. I love getting dip nails since they're so easy to soak off! I don't remember the lady's who did my dip awhile ago but they both did great jobs. Today I went in to just soak off my acrylic nails and soak off gel toes. Judy was my nail tech and she is very sweet and gentle! I noticed my index finger was starting to get hot but once I told her it hurt while being drilled, she stopped right away and never hurt me again! I called the place and they said I could go back and they would fix for free this time only. I went back Wednesday and they fixed two nails in one hand and one hand in another. I had pretty much decided not to go back to Eva again after continued bad service, but my friends invited me to go with them for a girls' afternoon. We made an appointment for each of us to get our nails done together. We were not seated together as we had expected to be. The first of us went back after 5 minutes but the third didn't get taken back for almost 20 minutes, which meant we were all finished at different times. The waiting area is super small so it wasn't very nice to have to wait there for such a long time before my turn and while waiting for my friend to finish. I wanted to try gel polish on my natural nails. It has only been ONE WEEK since we went and almost all of my nails have already chipped. I expected to need to soak my nails to remove the remaining polish but it peels right off - which is not a good sign. Also, I have been reading about hygiene at nail salons and this particular place puts each client's finger DIRECTLY INTO THE DIP POWDER and then reuses that same jar on every client. Gross!!! As if I hadn't had enough reasons not to go back, when I was waiting for my friend to be finished I noticed that to the left of the receptionist's computer on the side of the desk (in plain view from my seat near the polish wall) is a long list of people are not allowed to receive services again - and they listed people's first and last names along with their phone numbers! What an awful thing to put in such a public place! I've said it before but I certainly mean it now. I'm done going back there unless I hear that the quality is improving and that they are being more sanitary with the dip powders. read more

I got a mani/pedi. When I got my pedicure she used the callus remover and was talking to the other nail tech while doing it. Probably was slicing my foot for about two minutes. I looked at my foot and I have a few little cuts. Also there were nail techs falling asleep in the open behind the pedicure chairs. I understand that they work all day and night but I feel like it's so unprofessional. The girl getting her nails done next to me had to take off her previous dip herself (for 45 minutes) her nail tech looked like she was sick and was sneezing and blowing her nose right in front of her. The nail tech also kept getting on her phone probably about 10 times during the 45 minutes the client was sitting there trying to take her black nail polish off herself. I just feel like the salon isn't clean at all. They seem like they do great designs but that's about it. read more

Terrible service, over priced for the quality. Tom did my nails great the first time, after that, I could tell he didn't want to do them anymore. My nails would chip, break and the polish would come off even though I'd get gel. Tom was 20 minutes late to my last appointment and did not apologize or anything. I sit at a computer and type all day. I had a broken nail in less than a week. There is no reason acrylic nails should break. I paid $8 for the first nail repair, when I called about the 2nd nail, they told me to go somewhere else. Tom told the manager he didn't want to do my nails anymore since I was unhappy with his services. I never voiced any concerns until now. I just wanted the services that I paid for. Amazing service! Athena was great and did amazing details. She worked quick and asked if I was happy with the design every step of the way. I walked in and was seen right away, on a Thursday afternoon. I paid about $70 for a full set with a design on each finger. I feel that is a very reasonable price for the great work she did. i've been here 1 other time and i had a good experience. the reason i came back is because me and 3 others were getting our nails done for a wedding. i did not think i would have such a terrible experience this time. i don't think what i asked for is too difficult for any nail salon to do well, let alone one that would charge me $73! yep, my total was $73. we got there at 5pm and i was the last one done in my group around 7, one of the other people with me got a manicure AND a pedicure and she was done before me. majority of the time was spent applying the dip and filing VERY slowly, about an hour, i've never had a dip session at ANY NAIL SALON take an hour just to shape and file. on top of the slow service, as you can see it was very poor quality. wonky shapes and lengths, the tips are all uneven, the nail bed color is wrong and see through! i talked with the manager and told him i didn't have time that evening to wait for her to redo my nails for another hour and a half. he agree with me that i'd come back today (11/8/22) and id get my nails fixed. when i came back i expressed my concerns about the quality of the nails as well as the price. i was not informed i would be charged an extra $25 for black french tips. neither he, or my tech told me up front. when i came back to get my nails fixed today, i asked for a simple, plain dip set because frankly if i had known they'd charge me $25 on top of the $48 dip set with tips, i wouldn't have gone through the hassle of the black french tips in the first place. i suggested they just file down most of the existing dip and just stick a new color on top of it and reshape them, but he told my tech to take them completely off again and redo them. i also asked him for a different tech because i didn't want to be there for another hour and a half again, he said she won't take that long this time with just a solid color. i arrived at 11:20am and did not leave until 1:00pm because she once again took forever! im okay with the fixed nails but i don't love them, i originally wanted black, thinner french tips. i also said to the manager that i wanted the $25 back that no one told me i'd be charged (he said word for word, "it's her fault she didn't tell you it was $25 more). once my nails were fixed he said he can't refund me because she already did it yesterday and took the time to paint on the "design." no matter what i said, how it's their fault that my tech did not tell me how much more it would be, that they charged me for gel on top of the dip that i didn't want, that it was very poorly done, etc. he refused to refund me $25. i wasn't expecting all $73 back, just the $25 that i was not aware of until after she was done. he said to me (the manager) "well you should have asked her how much more it would be." absolutely not, i've been to many different salons and i've never had a pricing issue like this. i've always been informed up front before anything was done what any of the extra costs would be. adding tips, designs, shape, cuticle care, etc. i've always been informed right off the bat how much the extras will be. the reason i didn't ask how much the black french tips would be is because in their pricing book at the front desk, it said a dip set including false tips would be $48 and a french tip is an extra $5. i thought it was very unprofessional to tell me what i should have done after he said it was the tech's fault for not informing me. i also thought it was ridiculous to pay $73 for the quality i got on the first try. i am very upset with how they handled things and how poorly my tech performed. she did better with just a solid color but that's insane. how can you be a nail tech but not be able to do nails uniformly?! don't get me wrong she was very sweet as a person, but she was very clearly not there because she enjoys doing nails, she even told me herself she only works there because it's flexible to be able to take her kids to and from school. which i understand, but then why was she MY tech? if my nails were SO difficult and time consuming for her, why was she assigned to me? all in all i'm extremely pissed about this place. i never intend on going back and i will absolutely not forget this experience. rest assured if anyone asks me about this place, i'll be sure to tell them how unfair, unprofessional, and greedy they are. read more

After reviewing the pictures on Yelp from this nail shop, I assumed they could accommodate my design. Needless to say I paid a professional price ($60) for less than mediocre novice work. When I first walked in I asked the receptionist if she could book me with someone with a level 3 or higher nail tech and proceeded to show her a picture. She assured me the person who worked on my nails could do the job. I sat down and asked the nail tech if she was SURE she could duplicate it just like the picture. Everything was fine until the filing part was done. My nails are flat, sloppily painted, and the whole set isn't remotely close to the picture I showed. I'm not the type to name bash but I would say do your research first before coming here and find out who specifically specializes in what you want. read more

This will be my very first review. It takes a lot for me to have enough energy to write something negative, bc I am not a negative person by nature. Alas, EVA NAIL SPA has disrespected me in a way that I need other people to know. I got Dip over acrylic nails on 9/19, done by ERICKA. Initially, I really liked the nails, I was going out of town and needed them done ASAP. 3 days after I got them done, my pinky nail split. You know how ur nail splits right down the middle and makes u contemplate amputating the whole thing? Yea, thats how bad it was. Even then, I just used nail glue to mend it back because I didnt have time to go back before my trip. Once I was on my vacation, 8 OUT OF 10 NAILS SPLIT IN HALF, TO WHERE I WAS BLEEDING AND COULD NOT MAKE SUDDEN MOVEMENTS WITHOUT BENDING IT IN A WAY THAT MADE IT BLEED. So of course, my plane landed TODAY, and the FIRST thing I did was call Eva nail spa. I spoke with the manager and he let me know they would take a look and rectify the situation. OK I know this is long, but stick with me.... Once I get there, they call Ericka, luckily I remembered her name bc initially I thought she was good. Ericka comes to the front, I guess they let her know about my nails and thats when things took a turn. Ericka grabs my hands and examines each nail. I explain to her what happened, she cuts me off and accuses me of "carrying heavy things" and then says "I dont remember doing your nails; do you have a receipt?" As if im lying about the whole thing. She continues to roughly look at the nails that split. Finally she grabs a bur and starts taking off the dip. I let her know that I needed them completely redone. Her attitude goes from a 5 to a 12. She cuts my nails down to the skin (meanwhile, my nails are long) then preceded to tell me that today was her off day and she wasnt even supposed to be here. At this point, I ask to speak with a manager bc she is hurting me and I dont want someone who doesnt want to be there doing my nails. ERICKA GETS UP AND WALKS OUT OF THE DOOR AND DRIVES OFF! LEAVES ME WITH ONE HAND CUT AND THE OTHER HAND HALF OFF. At this point, even Nelson Mandela woudl've had trouble staying calm. I finally get another nail tech to call the manager. After about 30 mins, the manager walks in nonchalantly. I calmly recap the series of events with ericka's LACK OF CUSTOMER SRVICE AND DISRESPECT. The manager defends ericka by saying "Shes supposed to be off today..." Meanwhile, I am supposed to be off myself AND I JUST GOT OFF A PLANE!" At this point I want a refund and I just want to go elsewhere. He lets me know they have a no refund policy, but "the best he could do was re do my nails FOR HALF PRICE" WHAT? the nails that she ALREADY butchered?? Needlesss to say, I walked out to keep from saying anything that I would regret. THE TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AT EVA NAIL SPA IS ATROCIOUS. THE MANAGER DEFENDED HIS EMPLOYEES BAD BEHAVIOR AND WAS MAKING UP SCENARIOS TO JUSTIFY HER BEHAVIOR. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EMBARASSED TO BE INSIDE OF AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT I HAVE GIVEN MY MONEY TO FOR OVER A YEAR. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE.
