Nails are not the same length and some are slanted. Got a french tip and they aren't rounded evenly. Pedicure was great but a little rough.

I have been going here for 2 years. The pedicures are ok but i have been disappointed every time I've had my nails done. Last time i paid 144 for pedi mani and things i didn't ask for. Gel on my toes which at least will last but my nail shape is never what i want and they don't understand wanting a curve or pinch technique. Moving on to another salon who will do and understand what i ask. read more

When here for a quick nail appointment and it was a mess. The first person miss quoted me the price of my nails by over $15 and then started rushing through them and mis shaping them. After speaking to one of the managers I was given another tech who did a great job. But when checking out I was unexpectedly charged way more than expected. I told the manager who rung me up that while I would pay the higher price, I was missed informed and he pretty much called me a lier to my face. Then rang off a variety of reasons why I was not told that, even though I was. The lack of customer service was appalling. While I like how my nails came out, I will not be returning. read more

I thought this was the same franchise as the La Bella Nails in Cedar Hill which I frequent, but the nail technician was telling me that it's not - different company. I came here based off my past experiences in cedar hill since this location (Arlington) is closer to where I live. They are even decorated very similar. When I first arrived, I felt a little rushed by the gentleman directing me to my chair, but maybe they just want to keep things moving. It was a Sunday afternoon and memorial day weekend so I personally wasn't in a rush. No shade but he went groom stooping (& possibly smoking) outside on the sidewalk to opening the front door for me. I was disappointed when I learned I was at a different La Bella because I hoped to use a discount I earned, and also when I was charged for the soak/removal of my previous mani, since I was confused by the salon names. So much for using my punch card. For anyone who is wondering the Arlington place is LaBella Nail Spa and Cedar Hill is La Bella Nail & Spa. See the difference? I'll probably stick with Cedar Hill La Bella Nails when possible, but at least now I know they're not connected. More importantly the nail tech for my mani here was super sweet! Gina is the best! She was extremely kind and accommodating. At one point after I had to change my mind on the type of pedicure I originally chose, (since I couldn't use the coupon for the other la bella) she assured me that they don't pressure their customers to get/do things they don't want. That is big because it's a major turnoff when I have gone to other nail salons, politely declined a service or package twice and the person continues to ask and try to press me. Gina did a great job! Not only was she polite and professional, she went the extra mile in finding a polish for my toes that was the closest match to my mani which was done with dipping powder. She made sure I was pleased with the color and that the nails were shaped to my liking. I appreciate her. A different young lady did my pedi, and they worked simultaneously. The highlight of my experience at La Bella was certainly Gina! I recommend her if you go here. There are 2 names on my receipt - Phoebe & Gina - so hopefully that's her. The salon was family friendly. There were children there and staff seemed to know some patrons by name so that was nice. read more

2 stars for the shaping. I got my nails done here and got something that added up to be $55 but they ended up charging me $70 and their reasoning to why they charged me extra was "because the shape is too perfect" my nails lasted on for a week then started popping off one after the other. Once my nails started coming off i noticed that they had filed my natural nails down so much that they literally split in the middle as the picture shows. Not to mention, when i had went in to get my nails done i wanted acrylic powder with gel polish on top, they kept trying to convince me to get the dipping powder that was supposed to be "better" for my nails but my nails still ended up looking like this... and this is not even as bad as when the nails first started popping off. I went here for years. My nail tech left which was fine but after that the service went down so much. My 60 minute pedicure because 30 and my nails would chip after a week. I just stop going back. This is the closest nail salon to my house and I've been coming here for years. But in the recent times I've been here there has been little effort put forth by the staff. The people doing your nails try to get you in and out as fast as they can and their work is sloppy and disappointing. Every time I come they cut my cuticles and make me bleed, and leave glue surrounding my nails. They don't clean under the nail and the finger afterwards which leave your fingers stuck to your skin. La Bella Nail Salón is very close to my house. I have used it for quite a while now. I stopped going back in March due to the pandemic. I just started again 6 weeks ago. Unfortunately, the second time I went for an acrylic gel fill , the gel peeled off 2 of my nails barely two days later. I went back to get it fixed. One of the girls "fixed them". She quickly nail filed them and applied color but it looked very bubbly. I told her and she used the electric buffer tool to removed the color in only one of them. I though it was gonna be fine. But 2 days later they both peeled off again. Then another nail broke off and I noticed fungus growing underneath on my natural nail. Then I removed all of my nails myself and noticed that 5 of my nails had fungus. They don't do a good job. And it's not cheap. Fill was $45 plus tip. Will not come here anymore. read more

La Bella has been very hit or miss. Sometimes I get wonderful services, one NexGen manicure lasted 3 weeks with no chipping, other times I wait for an hour and a half...and then there was today. When you drop around 100 dollars for a services, it shouldn't be hit or miss. Today, I came to get a regular spa manicure. I've had NexGen a few times and I wanted a change up. You can look at the photo to see what the result was. The lady cut my finger fairly bad, the paint job is uneven, and there is paint on my skin. It is awful and painful. The reason that I gave it two stars is because the manager offered to redo it or give my money back. Needless to say, I took the money. If this has been a one time bad experience, then I'd definitely have tried to make them fix it... but at this point I just don't want them to touch my hands anymore. Nail salons are on every corner. When you find one that you can always trust it is a gem. I have been coming to the Bella for many years now and only one time was I not happy with the service. All of the ladies there are very nice. My only bad experience was with a young male manicurist.he was rough and sloppy. Some of my favorites are Julianne, Li, and Lena. Sweet sweet girls! Except you Julianne, ha ha you are a sweet lady. I can tease her because we are about the same age. I have visited probably a dozen other nail salons in the Mansfiled and South Arlington area. Not one of them compares to this one. It is spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, and has the largest inventory of shellac gel colors. I have also gotten eyebrow waxes here. They do a good job with that too. Complementary beverage including wine. If the owner or manager ever reads this review, my best advice to them would be to discourage the employees from speaking in their native language whenever possible. This is the biggest complaint I ever hear about regarding nail salons. Americans do not like to hear other people talking when they cannot understand them. In fact, if I knew of a nail salon where they only spoke English all the time, I would go there all the time and I would drive out of my way and I would pay extra. read more

I used to go here fairly often for a manicure/pedicure. Giving 2 stars because they were always friendly and usually had lots of techs working at a time. However, the last time I went I asked to have my acrylics removed and then a manicure. The tech cut off my long, fake nails with toenail clippers and then tried to pry the rest of the acrylics off with a fake nail tip. I pulled my hand away and asked her to soak them off. She seemed annoyed, but obliged. Acrylics should NEVER be ripped off! My nails were already damaged from having acrylics. The last thing I wanted was more damage from having them torn off. I could have done that to myself.. for free. After this incident, Labella Nail Salon lost my trust. I will not be returning. read more

I've always had an amazing experience here...until yesterday. I was looking forward to a relaxing manicure, but apparently Lucy was mad that I wasn't getting a more expensive service. She was rude, argued with me on what shape I wanted my nails, was extremely rough, rushed through the manicure and when I asked her to please seal the edges so the polish would last longer, she rolled her eyes. She did a sloppy job and got polish all over my fingers and left rough edges. I let the manager know about my horrible experience hoping to have to have someone else fix my nails, but instead he apologized and gave me a bottle of lotion. Stop by this place to get a manicure as the place that I wanted to go to was closed when I try to stop by. After leaving the grocery store I forgot to stop by my usual place. I checked out Yelp and this place was open. Surprisingly this place was closer to my house then the place I used to go to before I moved. I enjoy the ambiance very much so. It was very relaxing. Even though they did have TVs in there. There was soft music and a lot of visual stimulation on the walls. It was very serene. The nail technician took care of me and I was out of there quickly. I think she went above and beyond with my usual location does. I do not remember the differences in cost. I will definitely return to this place as it is closer to me. The results are excellent for the price, Once I got an inadequate polishing on my fingernails by a newly hired tech. I am hard on my nails and rarely have them polished - just a basic manicure. I was treated very kindly when I expressed concern. I was only charged for the pedicure I received which was fine and was my priority anyway (difficult for me to do my own toes due to prior knee surgery). I am never pressured to get additional or upgraded services. I've been to LaBella twice. The same lady did my nails both times. The first visit went well, but the 2nd visit she did a very hasty job. I paid $40+ for gel nails & within 4 days one of them tore from the edge. I'm too busy to go back to get it fixed. When I pay this much to have my nails done every two weeks, I expect them to last for two weeks. The other reason I give two stars is that both times I've gone, there is no a/c on. It was warm & humid outside both times, so it was warm & humid & uncomfortable inside, as well. Otherwise, the facility is nice and clean. I will not go back, though. A manicure is a service. My teen and I had some rare time just to ourselves (little 'un had a slumber party), so as an exceptional parent mindful of team-building and bonding experiences, I deployed a classic: bribery aka buying affection. No trickery in the review photos, this place is pretty swanky. It's in a nice strip mall kind of situation, but, you know, it's still a strip mall; you'd never guess from the outside. I'm all for keeping it real, but marble counters and a wall-tall water feature were like WHOA. Tip (just the, heh): this place is popular. We just kind of waltzed in on Sunday morning about 40 minutes after they opened, and were surprised by how hopping the place was already! Wall-to-wall activity, almost every station full; we're talking at least 20 pedi chairs and 10 manicure desks, plus maybe six people waiting ahead of us. Surprisingly, our turn came in the time it took us to peruse the polish wall and pin a couple nail art ideas, probably less than 10 minutes. And since this was a whole mother-daughter thing, we went full schmancy and did a signature pedi. We chose milk and honey, which was great. Of course there was the usual goofing around with the massage chair settings and no-nonsense scrubbing and cuticle banishment and clipping and filing. But also! Warm milky honeyed stuff poured on our legs and then into the tub, a sugar scrub with an intense calf massage, hot rocks with more calf massage, some kind of moisture something painted on our legs then wrapped in hot towels, an awesome foot massage, and a baggieful of warm paraffin on the tootsies. Then the polish and we were on our way, shiny and smooth, one of us with bedazzled flowers on her big toes. It was a great experience, and for a rare hour of greatness, $45 each was pretty darn reasonable. I will most likely revert to the basic spa pedicure for under $30 next time I'm here (which will happen!), which has most of the good stuff anyway. Oh, and tip #2: the website usually has a coupon; right now it's for a weekday discount. I visited on a Monday so they weren't too busy and she gave me a beautiful pedicure. Best salon I have been to in Texas. The reason I say that is because of Kimberly. She was attentive, personable, and patient. I'm the type of person new to nails never know what color to pick, I hate those drills and I love my short natural nails. She delivered and she also helped me pick a nice natural color that fits my personality and work.
