So I'm updating my review after speaking to the owner. She has told me that the lady that provided the facial has been retrained and was unaware that she had been too rough. I have not yet tried the facial since my last experience however the owner was very apologetic and sincerely interested in ensuring the issue with training was resolved. Again, I love this place for their pedicures and my gel manicure can last over 2 weeks depending on your nail growth. This is a great place to relax and unwind after a long day or week! honestly, I wouldn't go back here. the staff was friendly and the margaritas were very tequila-y (not complaining) but other than that, I am not very happy with my service. I came in for an acrylic fill and asked for a swirly design. the shape was fine, and the acrylic is a little thick but nothing I couldn't cope with. shortly after he began working on my design I began to realize he was either not savvy in design work, or the polishes themselves were too oily to stay on my nails. I then decided on a different, simple design that I thought would be less of a challenge for my tech, and I hate to say but I was still very disappointed. the polish job is chunky and the hearts are barely hearts. the heart isn't even the same color as the other nails. I had high hopes for this place and i'm sad to say I was disappointed. read more

i've wrote a five start review before for this place before because I usually have a good experience however today I unfortunately can not say the same. one: I wasn't greeted by everyone because it was busy which is totally fine with me!! I absolutely get it- once i got seated i waited for about twenty minutes (which is again totally fine with me because it was busier than usual i did not mind waiting) I had a different nail lady than usual and she was nice at first however she rushed the entire process which led to her cutting my nails and hands multiple times! I understand one or two minor cuts but these were deep cuts that could've been avoided had my nail lady not have rushed so much!! Towards the end she had a client waiting for her I guess so she told me to wash my hands and didn't even check to make sure her work was finished nor did she make sure I was okay with my nails (which again is totally fine with me) however- once i got up to wash my hands after i came back to my seat to get my things she had already had another client in my seat- she didn't let me get my phone, purse, wallet, or keys! she moved everything to the side and couldn't even hand me my things (mind you I was gone for 30 seconds at most) - mind you the lady didn't even acknowledge me once i came back to her moving my personal belongings around. -another note: since she rushed my nails the work was sloppy my nails usually look beautiful everything I come to this place! I usually love this place and never have any bad things to say however after today I don't know if I will be returning! read more

I come here for pedi and mani with my grandmother and they treated her so poorly. And this lady that she had (who was new) was completely unprofessional and when she had to fix her own mistakes the whispered under her breath for actually pointing it out to be fixed. My nails were fine since I went to the ladies that had been here a long time however the massages on leg feet and arms were lacking. The staff is extremely friendly and always strives to make their customers happy! Everything is always clean and I really like their massage chairs as well, they feel great. They offer you wine or water during your pedicure and you never feel rushed at all. They also have a punch card that will give you discounts! New favorite nail salon! I've been looking for a new pedi place in Mansfield that is clean with well spoken staff, friendly service and reasonable pricing... Luxury nail & spa is that place! I got a peppermint twist pedicure that was well worth the $35. (I only paid $30 because I used the handy dandy $5 off coupon they have on their website!) The tech was very polite and she even timed the special treatment part of my pedi. It states in their menu of pedicure options that it's 35 minutes and I received every minute promised. Don't think I'll go back! Requested a pedi and fill. Received my pedi which was adequate (no complaints)...however after I was told I had to move in order to wait for an available tech. No problem, they were kind of busy but a whole hour later with no real explanation as to why I was still waiting. I finally had enough and just paid my tab and left. There is nothing "luxury" about this place. My regular salon was very busy so I came nearby to this one. Not only are they unfriendly upon your arrival, but they are not efficient. After getting pedicures for many years, my worst nightmare happened. I got a fungus on my big toe nail and will be getting my entire nail removed next week. My podiatrist said it will take 9 months to grow back! Summer is almost here and I will be hiding my feet. Angry is an understatement! PLEASE beware when visiting this establishment. Cleanliness and sterilization are even lower priorities than their customer service. read more

This was my first time visiting this salon and the last. I get my finger nails manicured and polished with the gel treatment at least once every 1-1 1/2 weeks because my nails grow really fast plus I take pride in doing my own house work which unfortunately takes its toll on my hands. Regular nail polish plus daily house chores equals chips and wear on the polish in about two-three days, but when my nails are painted with gel polish they last two weeks. So to say I have experience with nail salons is an understatement. Now I am writing this review because I feel as a woman who respects other women that I am obligated to deliver the truth so to avoid hard earned money wasted. If I could have given this place zero stars I would all in thanks to the male nail tech that works at Luxury Nail & Spa. This was by far THE WORST gel mani ever. To start my terrible experience, the man who performed my mani left traces of my previous polish on after scraping my nails of its gel color and then proceeded to file my nails in both directions. If you know anything about proper nail tech execution you know that the only way to correctly file the nails is in completed in one direction; this filing technique is done to prevent the nail from breaking and to prevent the uncomfortable feeling that comes with improper back and forth motion filing. In my experience at the best nail salons if the tech files the nails back and forth instead of in one direction consistently they are fired on the spot! Great salons take their filing serious. Anyways during the filing process I had to ask him to stop because it felt so terrible and then when I looked at my nail shape it was slanted, jagged and ugly. So after a few failed attempts at instructing him on how to properly file I gave up and ended up filing my own nails to save them from the trauma.I should have seen that as a sign but I stuck through it thinking there was no way it could get worse... WRONG.. He took no care at all when it came to painting my nails, I wish Yelp had the option of posting a picture so you all could see just how bad my nails look. The space between my cuticle and gel polish is at least half a centimeter off and looks like I've gone three weeks without a polish change. The sides of my nails are bare. Imagine someone painting with the three step method and forgetting the third step completely... Ya I know, horrible right! If you were here to look at my nails you would probably say, "babe, no offense but your nails are jacked up!" To top it off every time I tried to say something about the problems I encountered because of him he acted pompous as if I was in the wrong but let's be real if he would have done the job correctly I would not have had to say anything period. I hope this post reaches you in time or is able to save someone the grief of going through what I have. read more

I came in here because I am new to this area and it looked nice. The nail tech was relatively new. I got the 36 dollar shea butter pedicure. She did an absolutely horrible job. They set these timers to ensure their pedicures are the correct time, ok i understand. But she had to walk back and fourth 6 times because she kept forgetting things, she filed all my nails different lengths,and shapes making them look worse then when I came in ( I had a pedi two weeks prior so not much needed to be done). I had to insist that they were different lengths and shapes because when I told her she just said no, and looked at me awkwardly. My massage on both legs was exactly two minutes, while I watched the four ladies in their chair get 10 minute + massages per leg. She completely left off the scrub as well. When I addressed the lady at the front they said "no that couldn't be." I said yes it was just like you all time your pedis, I timed it as well. They talked in their native language for a bit and said " you still pay 36 that couldn't be". I also got next Gen nails done. 5 days later I have 5 nails that have popped off and one chipped. I also called a head of time and asked if they served wine she said yes, I get there and she says no just margaritas. After a long day it was by far my worse experience at a nail shop.
