The first time I came, I asked for natural looking dip and they made them very chunky and I had to have the manager file them down afterwards so they looked normal. And the lady who worked on my nails was very rude to my friend and I. The second time I went, the actual work looked good, but I they weren't following hygiene protocol and overcharged me significantly . The lady who gave my manicure was about to use used cuticle cutters on me and I had to remind her to please get a sealed sanitized bag of tools instead. Then they charged me separately for each manicure step. First they charged to remove the old dip, then they charged for the normal manicure (like filing my nails, and cutting my cuticles), plus a separate $60 charge for the gel! In total, they charged me $120!! I've gotten my nails done for several years now and in several more expensive states like California and New York and I've never been charged anything close to that high. Also, this was for a standard gel manicure without any special designs, French tip, massage, or anything like that. After all of that, their recommended tip selections were 25-30% smh

Everything seemed fine until we took our shoes off for our pedicures. Yes, my toenails were long. My wife's toenails needed to be cut as well. That's part of the reason we came in for pedicures in the first place. Once they saw my feet, the entire attitude changed. The lady doing my pedicure became visibly frustrated, and throughout the service they repeatedly talked about how bad my feet and toenails were. I paid around $80 for my pedicure and my wife's was around $70, yet instead of feeling like paying customers being taken care of, we both felt embarrassed and uncomfortable. I even tried starting a friendly conversation with the lady doing my feet. She gave me a quick answer, turned away, and continued talking with the others about my feet. At the end, she made another comment telling me that I needed to come in once a month so my toenails wouldn't get that long. I understand recommending regular pedicures. I have no problem with someone professionally telling me that I should come in more often. What I do have a problem with is paying good money for a service and being made to feel ashamed for needing that service. People come to nail salons because their feet and nails need attention. Not everyone's feet are going to look perfect when they walk through the door. A professional should be able to provide the service without making the customer feel judged, embarrassed, or like they're an inconvenience. We walked in feeling welcomed and walked out feeling humiliated and uncomfortable. After spending roughly $150 between the two of us, I expected much better customer service and professionalism.
