I paid for a deluxe pedicure experience and she barely softened my heels (actually she didn't soften them at all she just barely rubbed the thing on me) massage wasn't even that she barely rubbed the scrub on me I could have given myself a better massage and I'm pregnant. I came for a relaxing and reset for my feet so I could feel better about myself since I've been feeling down lately and this was such a disappointment and waste of money. read more

Good quality service. Been going for years with Johny and he's good 10/10 the vibe is really good

I have been coming here for awhile now.. I tried switching it up going to other salons but either the price is to high or they cut me. When I am here I usually come on an off day during the day because it does get busy in the later hours or even on weekends they are busy. Best time to go is in the morning. I stray away from gel nails because it just ruins them I always do dip or painted. Most of the nail technician take there time, make sure the nail length is the same and always ask the shape. I usually just do square and then shape them at home on how I like them. My nails usually last me up to 3-4 weeks. After that I usually get them done or just continue to let them grow out. The price is never to high unless I splurge and do both a mani and pedi. read more

Top Nails - Acrylic dip - Nail Salons Near Me - Grand Prairie, Texas

My mom and I came here a Friday evening before running into IKEA. Not a fan of how my nails turned out, and it's worse even a week later. When walking in, you aren't really greeted, more so commanded at. It's very jammed packed in there, so it's hard to notice when first walking in that there is a designated "seating area" for guests. I'm assuming the owner or manager is the one who asked what services we wanted after us awkwardly standing at the door way searching for someone to help. They pointed where we sit, and we are all the way across the salon from each other. Great. My nail guy was very friendly, that's why I'm giving this place 2 stars rather than 1. However, my organic dip nails are so clunky and I didn't realize how crooked my fingers were until he was finished. Either way, it's nearly a week later and my dip nails around the base are already waring off! So now anytime I run my hands through my hair, each nail gets caught!!!! They just look very chunky and fake and are not great quality. Wish I would have just stuck it out and went to a local salon in Dallas. read more

This place won't be here long. I walked in around 5:30- should be busy at that time. I was the only one. It looked ok initially, went in for paws & claws...I was led back to a chair where I was expecting to get a menu of services. When I asked they said- you want gel? I said I wanted dipping powder. The said ok & I picked a color. As they began on my pedicure, I asked what kind of pedicures they had. The manicurist said do you want mask which costs more or not. Nothing said about what was included or a price- I had to ask about everything. Then when they did my nails they just used gel. Then I looked around & noticed the floors were filthy with large dead bugs on them. A cricket came out to perform & when I brought it to attention she said, don't worry about it. I wanted to leave, but was already into the process. They barely talk to you & the lady that did my nails shaped them unevenly. Mary did a great pedicure which I gave her a large tip for...but this place is unsanitary, they didn't even know what, "almond shape" meant and it appears that they can charge you whatever they say. Couldn't pay me to go back! ‍ read more

I am still in disbelief that the lady who did my nails did not say anything to me the whole time she was doing my nails except, you pick a color, go wash your hands and do you want to pay now? I have never been treated this horribly before. It's unfortunate that these people don't care about customer service and there is no one to complain to because most of them are family. Anywho, while she spent her time talking in her native language to her co worker. I decided to not leave her tip. That made me feel better. But I will not go back there. I gave a two rating, because she did a decent job on my nails. read more

Walked in and asked how long before I could get a pedicure she said 20 min. I wait for 30 min at the front then she sends me back to the pedicure chair and I sit there without any water or anything for another 40. No one speaks to me, acknowledges me or anything. I eventually get up and walk out after over an hour. They have no respect for other people's time And they will lie to you just to get your business. This has happened once before at this establishment and I let it slide but 2 times is ridiculous. I didn't want to spend over an hour after work for nothing. I won't be returning. Not to mention they sat me at a dirty chair that still had people's nail trimmings. read more

The technician burnt me in 3 places when I got my eye brows waxed. Mistakes happen, when I mention burning, she said nothing. I knew she was applying a lot of alovera. I left traveling the next day, so called to speak with manager. Just wanted to make her aware, so no one else would get burnt. The 3rd burn was on my eye lid. Because eye lids droop, didnt see till next day. Manager commence to tell me the eye lid was not a burn. Posted picture but unable to comment on yelp. All I wanted was for measures to be put in so this wouldnt happen to anyone else, and an apology. Got neither. Since out of town will address when I return. read more

This place is straight Garbage! Years ago it used to be so busy and crowded. I gone only twice in 3 years and it is so EMPTY, now. Today, I received the most mediocre and unprofessional service. I went in for a fill, which was $25. I gave a 20% tip because I know service people rely on tips and last I checked that equals $5. That Cvnt asked me two questions when i sat down and when she walked me over to the other booth to get my nails dried which was "do you want your purse in the chair" THIS was all she ever asked me. In August She did my deluxe pedicure which was good, but my overlay was ugly and bumpy, still I left a $30 tip. She was so gracious, THEN and she remembered me too. However, today I was so upset about the service she did I told the owners I wouldn't be back. They offered to fix my nails. I had polish on my fingers, my nails were half polished, I kept looking and turning my hand and she never asked me ONCE if it was okay. I expressed my frustration directly to her before leaving, never raising my voice. This Cvnt start yelling at me, Blatantly lied about ever asking me if I like my nails and start pointing her finger in my face and told me she didn't care about my $5 tip. She then exclaimed , "what's $5 dolla, I don't care about no $5 dolla!" Bitch, that's 20%, i be damn if i give you another $30 tip on a fill. I left disgusted only the pull up to the front of the salon, walk back in and ask for my tip back, which the owner only quietly apologized for her staff's behavior and had me scratch out the tip part. Like so many others, I can show you better than I can tell you!! I'll be taking my money elsewhere. read more

I had been seeing Amy on and off since 2007 the last 2 times she not only was extremely careless with still but the gel and the dio acrylic were both terribly done. I went the week of my vacation and 2 days later I had 2 nails break, I called her for a repair which she did not seem to happy about. When I went in to have them repaired she did the worse job I've ever seen ! Did not seem to care, very rude. Let's just say my nails did not last my weekend get away . I'm tired of poor customer service and I'm paying $50-60 dollars . Never going back read more

I stopped by on Christmas Eve, They were fairly busy but I did not have to wait long. I hate I do not recall the name of the technician, but when you first walked in, there is the desk to the right and she is the second station to the right. I do not have high expectations when it comes to my SNS. They usually always break, they are too thick, or they are not shaped to my liking. I am very particular so I almost always end up leaving any nail salon unsatisfied but it was Christmas Eve and I was desperate so I decide to give them a try because my nails were grown out, anything would look better than what I currently had. The tech was amazing! I love the way she did my nails, and the way she shaped them. Today has been 4 weeks and besides the grow out, they still look great. I hate that I don't live locally because she would definitely be my new nail tech!!! read more

If you have not been to top nail you are really missing out. Hannah is the nail extortioner that has to be seen to believe I have been her client for 4 years and I have yet to be disappointed. She uses the most innovative artistic approach to nail health and art you have ever seen. She treats her clients like celebrities. I have already told you about her nail work , but she puts the big chain salons to sham whit her eye lash technique . Lastly she does eye brow micro blading and is certified in the craft. Which makes her even more AWESOME! Please do yourself a favor and save the gas on those long trips to Dallas and go see HANNAH at Top Nail! read more

I love this salon! I've had a standing appointment there every 2 weeks for the past 20 years! All the nail techs are experienced and do excellent work. The prices are comparable and they offer gift certificates and rewards-cards ( fill a card and get $13.00 off your next service). Top Nails offers all the latest colors, gels and powders for your full set and fills as well as basic and deluxe pedicures. Appointments are suggested but walk-ins are welcomed. NEVER come to this place, EVER! Walked in today for just a clear coat and have my nails looking nice for my new job. Not only did this lady cut my finger, while being really rough and unprofessional but the boss of this store along to with her. The "manager" - Amy, didn't bother to say thank, or even k$$ my a $$. She/they were more involved in what appeared to be some illegal gambling. There were possibly 4/5 customers in this whole place, on a Saturday, really? I too wished Yelp had a negative star rating! read more

I do not recommend this nail spa! I am done! Although they have a few pretty good nail techs, at the end of the day they are rude and for the most part inconsistent. Either I get the one that's moving so fast to get me out of the chair to get the next person, or the one who just finished school and can't polish or do designs..... My most recent experience, there was a slight hiccup with my polish ... It kept clumping! The tech ...Vivian did it over a few times. Became upset with me because I asked her to redo.... She begin throwing her things in her bucket, speaking in a different language causing all the ladies to look at me and my toes when they passed by. Not to mention during the pedicure she cut my foot in two places... When I told her she cut me and to be careful where she sprays the alcohol she snapped back "ok ok ok" and sprayed it anyway! Another lady does my manicure, she sits down and says " I know you are very picky, so let me know what you like" Excuse me? You know nothing about me, in fact I've never seen you before in my life. You say that because your friend is complaining about me because I asked her to redo a toe that was clumpy! Finally talked to the manager.... She listened to all my complaints and said vivian won't do my nails again... And said $35. Well that's not going to work for me because not only was my service horrible today, but your tech cut my foot twice in different places and on each foot! She said $30 and you complain all the time! At this point I'm offended because I NEVER complain! I usually only go to one tech (Kimberly) but she is out sick, I don't have these issues with her because she is thorough and takes her time. Furthermore, If I ever have a problem I take it out of the tip, not complain. Bottom line is this was by far the worst experience ever and I have been going here for years at least once a month, twice ifI have something to do, Finally the customer service is horrible, they rush you out to get the next $$ in, there selection of nail polish is gross and old! Never have nice colors to choose from... Most people bring there own! I will not be back read more

Love this place. It's about five minutes from my house, they do a consistently good job, and the prices are great. I go every Saturday for a manicure (not fake nails, my own) and every third Saturday, I get a pedicure. Sometimes I add in the paraffin wax or whatever. I don't even make an appointment and the wait isn't that bad, but this place is jumping. It's always full, but the wait isn't bad. It's worth it, to me. The regular manicure is just $11. The only complaint I have is the selection of nail polishes isn't great. There are a lot, don't get me wrong, but most of them look old and separated, etc. I like a selection of nice polishes. But since I tend to want to bring in my own so I can touch up, I just bring in my own. Still, I do wish they had better polishes. But my toenails and fingernails ALWAYS look good. read more

My sister in law gave me a gift certificate for here. I went and got a pedi and got the deluxe version or whatever to get off all the dead winter skin. Within a week, my toes were peeling with athlete's foot. I have $15 left on my gift certificate and I am probably not gonna use it. read more

i watched a customer get up and pay and without sanitizing anything the lady doing my nails told me to sit down exactly where she was then i asked for a regular manicure and all the lady tried to do was sell me powder nails and gel nails. first i said yes to gel nails then she tried to get me on powder by saying "they're better for you let me show you" and still after refusing and she took them off i asked for nothing at all and she continued to be persistent about powder then gel nails. when i asked for just a manicure again she seemed to be put off and all she did was file my nails to a terrible square and dig in them with the nail file to the point where it hurt me. i wanted to cry the whole time. she didn't even clean my nails or do anything else. then i asked for a clear coat and she does gel after telling me they're bad for you and digging in my nail to the point where it hurt. i'm not one to leave reviews but this was the worst experience i've ever had at a nail salon. to make things worse the person i went with asked for a manicure also and they got hot towel wraps and a sugar scrub and i got nothing. not even clean nails. she pretty much filed my whole nail off. read more

I wouldn't recommend this nail spa! I went in for a eyebrow wax and was really disappointed with my service!!! I will say they greeted me as soon as I walked in which was nice, but then they just said to go to the back without any guidance. I went into this small room with two wax beds one which had a filthy towel laid on it and the other with paper which look like someone had laid on it. (I'm just standing there waiting on the waxer to come in) examining the room the wax pot looks gross! I tear the paper and lay out new for myself then finally someone comes in. She starts and finishes the service painlessly. But when I look in the mirror to look at my brows one was messed up!!!! Like she took to much hair from the front of my brow which took me at least 4 months to grow and also i have thick brows and she made them super thin which I'm not a fan of which I explained to her before she started. So we go to check out she says "$8" and I ask "What do you guys do if a guest is unsatisfied with a service?" She responds, " $8" I'm like I can't get a complementary service or the service be decreased in value since it wasn't to my liking. She says no. I pay the $8 or $9 and just leave it at that.. I leave with jacked up eyebrows which is a VERY IMPORTANT FEATURE TO any woman's face. Thank god for make up and being able to fill them in!!! Bye bye never again will I go there read more

This has been my nail salon for over ten years. I love all the ladies and Johnny, but Miss Hannah and Ms. Amy are my "girls!!!" Miss Hannah does nail designs that are beautiful and trendy! I normally wouldn't write a review for a place, but I just had to for this trip. I've been here once for a pedicure and it was ok, not the greatest. Today I went to get a pedicure and it was going fine and the the lady who was doing my pedicure cut my toe! She continued to keep painting although I was bleeding heavily. I walked out and turned right back around and showed the lady my toe and she made me go sit under the light for 10 minutes before I waved her back over. If I hadn't asked her to fix my toe, I don't think she would have done it. They offered me no refund and there was no apology. So I won't be coming back here. Ended up with a bloody toe and a crappy pedicure! read more

i too agree with the other reviewer; if i could give this place a - star status, i surely would! after trying to over sell me, the employee was really rough and cut my finger! some "mgr" called amy, was walking around watching some gambling card game going on and didn't much care about what her employees are doing to the customers! walked in on a saturday, there were about 4 customers, really-on a saturday??? hate this place! read more

This is one of the few sanitary and affordable nail salons that I've been able to find in the dfw area. The prices are extremely reasonable ($25 for a basic pedicure with a design on both big toes), there are a wide selection of colors and design choices for manicures and pedicures and the staff is extremely friendly. It is clear where the clean tools versus the used tools are kept and the interior of the salon is clean as well. Techs use gloves when working with the clients and do not reuse materials. Great find. read more

Super mixed reviews on this place. I have been twice, both times were pretty good I would recommend this place to anyone. Only one thing keeps this from 5 stars and it's pretty important, the service is NOT consistent. I love that I can get an upgraded pedicure BUT for $30 it better be grand or I would rather pay the lower price. Each time i come in everyone is nice and helpful but the last two times I have come I have sat down at the same time or within a few seconds of another client, and without fail I always end up finished and out the door before the other person..now to spell this out: my massage was shorter time, my nail clean up, and alll that jazz was NOT as the other person paying the same amount as I. This drives me insane! There should be a certain length for each crappy half-assed massage that we all love and pay $25-$40 for. read more

Lorie and Kimberly are the best! Just keep count of what they are charging you for, they like to add $5 or $10 to the total once you get up to pay. Other than that, they do great work, and keep the place clean. They serve you drinks (soft drinks, water, wine). read more

My 5 stars are for Lisa only! She is the only person I deal with when I do my nails. I have my natural nails and get gel polish whenever I come. If I could this place a 1/8 of a star,I would! First of all, when asked if the two women were talking & laughing about my friend and I the woman said "yes".. lol I thought it was kind of funny tbh. 2nd, the lady doing my nails was extremely rude and rough when cutting my cuticles. I didn't say anything the first time, the second time I explained to her that she was hurting me. She looked at me and shrugged her shoulders and kept on going. It happened 3 times! Finally, it was time for my mani... We asked for a whole manicure, and got polish! No cuticles cut, not even some lotion! They got upset when we asked for water. Never going back. My wife and I have been going here for years - Literally. She always get's the mani and deluxe pedicure and for myself, the deluxe pedi and the occasional waxing of the very small patch on my back. They usually do a decent job ( I've seen better & I've seen worse) For the price however, it's always been a fairly good deal. Yesterday we went in as we do once a month and got the same services as always, but when cashing out, they charged me $40 to wax the itsy bitsy area on my back, which was strange because they've always charged me $12 everytime. For the past 4 years, we have always received the exact same rate at checkout time, so when they rang me up yesterday, the final price floored us...We paid it with much relectance and called the next day to speak to the owner...He basically called us both a liar saying we were wrong...ok, pretty sure we arent crazy and just making up the fact that the waxing has always been $12 ...I mean, cmon, that's not even close. I told him after 4 years, we'd be taking our business somewhere else ( there isn't a shortage of asian nail joints around town) and I also warned him of a bad review on Yelp, so here I am...and here it is. In a nutshell, the job they do is just above ok, but arguing with your clients and basically telling them theyre crazy and they are liars . 4 years as a customer - bye bye read more

My mom and I were regulars for about three years coming consistently every two weeks. Almost never leaving happy, at least 60% of the time upset. The prices are reasonable and they have alot of workers so we would always get in decently fast, hints why we kept coming back. But once they notice your a regular and consistently in there they stop caring about you they start pushing you to the side and rushing your nails. It got to the point that my mom and i were never happy with our nails, the very last time we were in there for our normal gel mani the lady file all the way through my nail, not paying attention too busy on her phone and went straight into the meet!! It hurt so bad and i was freaking out because it was my ring finger on my left hand and I had just gotten engaged. She tryed to put a fake acrylic nail over it she kept saying "it will be ok i fix i fix" but yet she didn't one fake acrylic nail when the rest of my nails are all short gel nails like really!?! It looked horible and hurt like hell I'm surprise I didn't get a horrible infection! I was almost in tears in the nail shop i take my nails seriously and not to mention I had only been engaged for a day and really excited about getting my nails done to show off my ring, and then the snobby rude lady who works the front Amy could care less because we were regulars i had to still pay full price and everything! Never again will i go here its wasnt there first time fucking up our nails but it will sure be the last time they get my money for it! Ill keep taking my $200 a month somewhere else!! read more
