mexican chocolate ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies.
    Samantha G.

I'm so happy that they were down the street from Harborview today. They had a pretty good variety of sweets such as cookies, ice cream and brownies. I finally settled for making my own ice cream sandwich, which consisted of Mexican chocolate ice cream sandwiched between 2 chocolate chip cookies. The lady at the truck told me that all the baked goods are homemade but the ice cream is locally brought. Anyways, if you love chocolate (like I do) this sandwich was perfect! I also like how the cookie wasn't too soft and chewy but not rock hard. I also agree that they need to start driving around at night. I would so get an ice cream sandwich after a night of dancing.

Cream cheese brownie. So rich, perfect with my afternoon black coffee.

They've recently stopped making their rounds near my work place (for Winter, damn you Winter..), and I'm already having withdrawals. Snickerdoodle cookies, apple streusel bars, and red velvet cookies are my faves! I might need to visit one of those cafes that they sell their goods at soon. $1-$3 a piece for deliciously rich and fresh-baked treats, what a deal! And yep, the truck takes credit cards.

This ice cream station hit the dessert craving I had all weekend long. It's parked conveniently in front of the food court at Seattle Center, and it's worth every penny. The portions are enormous, like it's their goal to get rid of it by the end of the day or else. We ordered one scoop of vanilla bean and cookie dough. We had about at least a half of pint of ice cream to finish and we did not regret it one bit. It looked better in the giant waffle cone, but I wasn't going to attempt that and walk at the same time. The employee serving you ice cream is not just a cashier. He actually made some of the batches of ice cream from scratch. It gives the ice cream a nice personal touch.

Chocolate chip cookies are so perfect here. Crispy edge and a soft center with lots of chocolate

I've loved everything I've gotten from here so far. Highlights include the chocolate chip cookies (crisp edge and soft center), salted brown butter rice crappie treat (salty buttery perfection) and this Twix bar thing they had as a special today (buttery shortbread layer was amazing). So happy these guys are in the neighborhood!! I've gone a few too many times since they opened recently.

Street FREAKING DELISH Treats is what this place should be called. If you only have 5$... buy the Salted Brown Butter Rice Krispy Treat. AS MANY AS YOU CAN. You will not regret it. My son had an ice cream sandwich with chocolate chip cookies and chocolate chip ice cream. He was in heaven*see picture. And so was I. I told my friends about this place and they were at a food truck showdown this weekend, and what did they do? Brought me back delicious, mouth watering, Rice Krispy, slice of delish heaven freaking goodness. They are my new bffs.

Saw this little stand at the Pacific Science Center that had a very long line, so I thought it must be good. After getting lunch from a Filipino food stand (there was a Filipino event going on), and not being happy with it, I thought I deserved some sweets. When I went back to this ice cream stand, there was no longer a line. My brother and I decided to get the cookie ice cream sandwiches. I got chocolate chip cookies with cookie dough ice cream and he got snickerdoodles with berry ice cream. It was good, very satisfying. I mean, how can ice cream with cookies go wrong? And the cookies tasted better than they looked; I thought the cookies looked too hard and crunchy, but they were still soft. At first, I thought the sandwiches looked too small for $6 each, but we were stuffed before we even finished them.

My first experience with homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches was Diddy Riese in LA, which costs about a buck and half. My second experience is Cream in Berkeley, which wasn't as cheap but still very reasonable, so when I saw that Street Treats was charging FIVE bucks I thought that was just way too expensive. However, I was craving for an ice cream cookie sandwich. I enjoyed the ice cream (raspberry), but I did not enjoy the cookie (molasses). It was way too sweet.

I've been waiting to try this place forever but never found myself in the vicinity. I made a trip to Bellevue (on the one day I don't work in Bellevue) just to get an ice cream sandwich cookie. Heaven in my mouth. I picked snickerdoodle and chocolate chip as my cookie bread bases and mint ice cream. Absolutely delicious. The cookies were soft and wonderful, the ice cream pure perfection. My only qualm is the fact that I should have gotten two chocolate chip cookies instead...well, that and it cost almost 6 bucks. Money well spent though for the most part!

I convinced the boyfriend to get his dessert from Sweet Treats, during Mobile Chowdown, so that I could share while I also got my dessert somewhere else... They had $4 custom build ice cream sandwiches! He's a little more daring than I, so he opted for a Snickerdoodle cookie and Peanut Butter ice cream. Snickerdoodle? LOVE. Peanut butter? YUMM. Why not put them together?? I was surprised at how well the two flavors complimented each other! The cookie was soft, yummy, and cinnamony while the ice cream had just enough taste of peanut butter without being overkill. I wish that I could say I have the ambition to go looking for this cart in Seattle, but I just don't have it in me. But if I happen to see it, I'm definitely stopping by!

    Visiting Madrona streets with treats
    Lori M.

The Street Treats truck is in Madrona today (and they'll be back for the Madrona festival on July 24th. They've only been in operation for four weeks, so it seems they're still trying out new places to station themselves (but you can see their current schedule or check out their twitter feed about their location on their website). They had various cookies, cookie sandwiches, bars, and ice cream sandwiches for sale. Everything was made from scratch, and they were priced reasonably ($2.75 for a carrot cake cookie sandwich). I'm not sure if their offerings are special or different enough to search it out over another permanently housed establishment, but definitely if you see it on the street it's totally worth grabbing something for your sweet tooth!

Choco & Caramel Cookie n' Triple Berry Ice-Cream Sandwich
    Sylvia W.

Very tasty treat on a warm end of summer day! Chocolate carmel cookie was chewy and held together some delicious triple berry ice-cream in sandwich form. $4 wasn't too shabby, big enough for an adult or two cousins sharing. ;P ... Only thing was I couldn't tell what the other two berries were aside from the strawberry... oh well! more reason to taste their other creations!

Soft and ripe and delicious. The cheesecake bites were not as flavorful as I would have liked, along with the vanilla ice cream, but I have a crazy sweet tooth so I recommend this one for those who like milder desserts that are not too sweet. The mixed berry bingsu was my fave! The berries were fresh but the best part was the ice cream! Super flavorful and I loved the fruit syrup too. For both, the bingsu itself is very light in flavor and texture. It melts in your mouth and pairs well with the toppings, especially that sweetened condensed milk. I hope to come back to try other items soon!!

The soup was really amazing. I don't often like tomato soup but this was the exception. Chunks of tomato and a full flavor without a lot of spices. The crème brûlée was warmed and freshly caramelized on top. This is not made in advance and just refrigerated which seems to be more common these days. The hot chocolate hit the spot! Options for no -dairy alternatives were offered which I almost forgot to ask. Liked the atmosphere, spacious and high ceilings. The staff was very friendly and nice.
