I go to Stonefire about once a month with friends from work. Great place. Spacious with great food and large portions. I'm a pretty big eater but I get the smaller portions usually. My favorite is the tri tip with caesar salad. The breadsticks are really good too. read more

Haven't been here on forever! Usually would goto the fountain valley location but I wanted to give Irvine a try. Sam provided impeccable service, his demeanor and attentiveness was greatly appreciated during the ordering process. We had multiple servers checking on us through out our meal, Sam interacted with my daughter and it was the sweetest thing. The tri-tip was flavorful and the salad filled with yummy fresh goodness! The dressing are fresh and to die for in terms of flavor. Thank you Stone Fire grill, we will be back! read more

Wanted to give one star for today but with my last 8 yrs experience giving one extra. Ordered caesar salad along with other items. Being vegetarian we make sure there is no meat items. When reached home with take out , to our surprise salad had a lot of grilled chicken. Spoiled our lunch completely that too on Easter. When called to discuss this, first my call was dropped as soon as I said I need manager to speak to. In 2nd attempt I was able to speak to manager. As soon I mentioned order was placed online, he said "you placed order online so not our fault". When I mentioned that I made sure there is not meat then he started looking up for order in system. It was very clear, adding any meat has extra cost which my order dint even have. Then only I was offered replacement order or refund. Got refund btw so that is good. My main concern is how this whole situation was handled. First who received my call tried to pin it on me and same thing manager did. Being my one of favorite restaurant for last 8 years, never expected this. read more

I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of beans and quinoa salad. The pulled pork was good, but could have been slow cooked a little longer, and the French roll was a little stale. The baked beans needed flavor so I added bbq sauce, and quinoa wasn't good. It had a very strange herb taste with nothing else in it. I wanted to go to the back kitchen and tell them how to vamp up the flavor but decided not to... my first time and I'm not impressed. It was edible at best. read more

Tried ordering from Postmates and 3 times my order was canceled in the span of 10 minutes because they kept running out of food. Decided just to cut my losses and go in. Tried ordering a different item from what I tried previously only to be told they didn't have that either. Not sure how a restaurant of this size can function without food. read more

The best value for your money and the best service! We ordered the family meal for my family of four. We had left over enough for two more meals! The salad is fresh and the steak is great. Will go there again! read more

Plain cooked ribs are not bbq. Ribs need to be smoked and have the appropriate pink ring hue to the meat at a minimum to be bbq. These ribs are just cooked pork ribs sadly. To be fair, they were tender and the service at this location was decent, hence the two stars. If you're after good bbq ribs, this is not your best choice unfortunately. read more

Uuuuummm... Not sure what happened. First time there. Went for a work luncheon. I ordered the Western Lettuce... I mean "Chicken" Wrap. Pretty sneaky: they put the chopped chicken right in the middle of the wrap. Then, they present it to you cut in half with what appears to be heaps of chopped chicken stuffed inside. What you actually get is a week's worth of lettuce. It wasn't just my wrap. My co-worker had the same thing happen. The chicken itself had a nice mesquite smell wafting into my smell receptors, but there was so little, that it was actually kind of an insult/tease. Service was friendly and the staff was cool. The pizza my coworkers got looked decent; as did the Cesar salad. Let's see... Oh, the cowboy beans were tasty AF! Anyway, yea... The wraps are more lettuce than anything else. I consider that a rip off.... So 2 stars: 1) for the staff and 2) the other items actually looked tasty. What I got just was not worth the price. I can stuff a tortilla with lettuce at home for way cheaper... read more

Been eating here for a couple years now. Food has always been great, atmosphere as well, and customer service is at its best all the time. Food comes quick and lines get shortened pretty quick. * Shoutout to Alekh for his sevice. Although young, (16 yrs) and shy, provided us with top quality service. Keep up the good work son. read more

I never heard about stone fire grill until my husband introduced it to me in Castaic. I was psyched when I discovered one here in irvine. first off: !! BREADSTICKS !! probably the best breadsticks you'll ever have in your life. better than the olive garden AND pat & oscars. i've tried the chicken, tritip, and ribs and all we FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC. i love you stonefire grill, where have you been all my life? please expand to other parts of ca and the us. thanks. read more

Star rating: 3 1/2 star I made a visit to Stonefire Grill today because my customers specially requested Stonefire Grill. Knowing I had to feed a hungry bunch, I ordered the 2 x chicken, bbq ribs, 2x tri-tip, salad, mash potatos, bbq beans, caesar salad and bread sticks. I called around 10:30 AM for a 11 AM pick up. Everything was cool except the fact that they didn't have plates/utensils/napkin ready. I would have to say the chicken and tri-tip are the better choices there because they make it right. The bbq ribs were respectable but not quite there yet. The total damage was around $130 and it's not bad for serving 10 people. Most importantly, my customers love it. read more

i didnt know what to expect when i walked in, but i was pleasantly surprised with the kind staff, the lively atmosphere, open space, and of course the food. I got the baby back ribs, which was perfectly done - very tender, lean, and tasty. The side of mashed potatoes was good too but a bit too garlicy... the bread sticks were tasty and light. I didnt mind the fact that we had to go get our own plates and silverware... it just added to the experience. this was my first time, so i hope subsequent visits end up being as pleasant as this one. read more

My fiance and I ate here for the second time last night. We ordered some sort of off-menu combo that included pizza, tri-tip, salad, and breadsticks. All of that food was only $21.99 (be sure to ask about that sort of combo, like I said it's not listed). We were both very satisfied with our meal. The breadsticks were amazing (buttery and garlicky), the tri-tip was cooked to our satisfaction, and the pizza was really yummy (especially the cheese!). The only part of the meal that wasn't that great was the salad, which sort of felt like they tore open a bag of lettuce from the grocery store, dumped it in a bowl, and gave it to us. My only complaint about the experience was the salad, but its really a minor complaint since the rest of the food was so good! If you are looking for a place similar to Pat & Oscars to get pizza, chicken, meat, or sandwiches, I would certainly recommend this place. It may not be gourmet, but it definitely will satisfy you, and not break the bank. read more

When Stonefire Grill first opened, the quality of their food was great - from their chicken, ribs, tri-tip to their salads, sides, etc. The location is convenient, they've had special deals and they offer a basic meal. But the last few times I've been there, I've been beyond disappointed and worse yet, I've been paying more for their food. It seems that they've let their popularity and their recognizable name in the area take over the preparation and quality of the food significantly. Very disappointing. I went in today for a lunch take-out order. While looking at their menu, I was looking for a simple lunch item/combo - a cartwheel salad and chicken. Their options were minimal unless I wanted to spend at least $10 which was not what I expected. I had to ask for lunch specials which were not featured in the take-out side of the restaurant and even then, they did not have a basic meal. In any case, I paid $10 for my meal and waited patiently while I watched to-go orders be brought out. I assumed those were phone-in orders because I was the only one waiting. As it turns out, when I showed my impatience on the delay did someone finally notice one of the orders was mine. And to top it all off, they had forgotten my order of breadsticks that went along with the meal. Luckily I caught that before rushing out to actually go eat my meal... And what a complete disappointment that was....the chicken was saturated in oil/butter/garlic - so much so that you would have never known that you were eating chicken. The salad looked like it had been sitting out for days - wilted and not at all fresh. Their salad dressing also seemed to have been sitting in its container for weeks. And my 2 measly breadsticks...well that's all I ended up eating for lunch. Needless to say I won't be back. For the price I paid today, I could have had much more satisfying meals at a lot of other places in the area and/or saved myself at least a few dollars. It's a shame to see their quality diminish so much, to the point where loyal and local customers won't be visiting them anymore... read more

I will stalk this place for some BOMB Azz breadsticks!! The garlic chicken breast is pretty damn tasty...and loaded with lil pieces of garlic sent from heaven! It can be pricey but it's def worth giving it a try! read more

I just love this place! It's casual, good food and not too pricey. My husband and I do take out here often. The order is usually a chicken caesar salad, bread sticks obviously, and a bottle of wine. Yes you can get wine to go. I think that the servings are proportioned on the larger side. Like someone else mentioned, the small salad can definitely serve 3, not 1-2. Sometimes when we have guests over I'll order the stimulus package. Which is plenty of food for 4 people. Also, the brownies are amazing. read more

I think this place is great for families. If I come with four or more people, I always order the stimulus package, get a nice salad, pizza and the tri tip. And don't forget the breadsticks that they come with! Their ribs and carrot cake are pretty good as well. While individually their dishes aren't the best-I've-ever-had good, together they make it a very worthwhile place to go. Their servers have always been very accommodating and friendly. They are always smiling and making sure you have everything you need. The only thing I can't really recommend is the pasta. I had a coworker order it and it looked like she was suffering through it. read more

Visited again with my family. Great as usual! Food came out really fast. We specifically asked for low-salt (one of the parties has to be on low-salt diet) and the cashier took it seriously. The food tasted great and not too salty. Thank you thank you! Like I said before this restaurant has the best staff and manager I have ever met. Very friendly staff. Today the manager was on his knee fixing a drain in the restroom. What an impressive hands-on management! Really love this place! read more

The Pizza here is a MUST TRY! I try to get in once a week for their cheese pizza. IF I'm feeling the need to eat healthy, then I go with the Tri tip. Absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable. The staff is incredibly helpful and always smiling. It's a different dining experience where you order your food prior to sitting down, which makes for an interesting experience. If your inner fat-kid is calling you, Stonefire is a definite place to go for a laid back atmosphere and easy meal. read more

Been here a couple of times and the food is very good. Their portions are very large considering the reasonable prices they charge. Tried the BBQ chicken and tri tip, both were very tasty. Their breadsticks r also a nice addition to the meals. Wasn't a great fan of their cole slaw, maybe that's the only thing I did t like. Overall a very good experience read more

The effusive reviews gushing about how great this place is are odd to me. The food here is prepared and it is heated, but I would not go so far as to say it is cooked. Cooking should involve tasting the food, and adjusting your recipe and methods as necessary to give what you are cooking a better flavor and texture. And that is what the food here is lacking, a good flavor and texture. They seem to know this, because you have the option of drowning all of your food in their plentiful sauce. Take as much of it as you want. You'll need it. Food: People love bread and they love meat. And if you want a lot of both for a fairly affordable price, then you might give this place a try. However, the bread sticks that some people like so much are just factory made, reheated bread sticks. It's no better here than anywhere else, but at least it is not worse. The meat is just okay. I found myself dipping it various sauces to make it more palatable. I'd prefer not to drown my meat in sauces, because sometimes you want to taste what you are eating, rather than just the sauce. I decided I'd rather taste the sauce, this time. The salads are mediocre, little more than lettuce with a sprinkling of other produce to be able to rename it something else. The pizza wasn't bad, actually. So, if you end up here, get the combo with a pizza in it, I humbly suggest. Service: The people here are busy, but they are very nice. Yeah, they hold their cool, even with the large crowds they have to handle. All the stars given here are to the nice people who work a hard job and treat you alright. Ambiance & Decor: I've been here a couple of times, and it always tends to be busy. I guess if you throw out the word "tri-tip" people will come running at all hours. It can be loud when its busy, but when it was not busy, the noise level was fine. The decor here can best be described as current American casual dining decor. It is not charming, it is not offensive, it is bland enough that you can focus on your food, but nice enough that you don't feel like you're eating at a fast food restaurant. Recommendation: Hm. You'll end up here at some point with a group of friends. It's not bad, but the food is far enough from good I wouldn't go here just by myself. read more

Been to this location a couple of times. The chopped salad with tri-tip is my go to meal here. The tri-tip content is generous and is cooked perfectly. Breadsticks are addictive! You'll need a support group to help get you off of them lol! Optional dipping sauces are a nice touch. Pizza's are pretty good too. For a place offering a lot of food options, they are better than average. Tried the BBQ Chicken pizza and it was really good with the chicken cooked perfectly and portioned generously. The only thing that I could think of that could be improved is the timing of food delivery. First, it seems a bit slow, takes a while to get your food. Second, the timing of delivery is a bit off - your order comes out in pieces over about 15 minutes. Would be nice if the entire party's order could come out at roughly the same time. Don't hesitate! Give this place a try! Go with a few friends and share a pizza and salad. Lots of tasty choices to satisfy pretty much anyone and you can make it as healthy or otherwise as you like! Haven't tried any desserts there but the huge plate of brownies on the counter were very tempting. read more

We celebrated my son's 15th birthday here last night. Service by the hostess staff was exceptional. We had a party of 12 and they found us seating in less than 30 minutes. This was our second time going to this chain. It is a casual restaurant where you order your food and it is brought to you, you get your own drinks and utensils. The only difference than most fast casual restaurants is that the food quality is high and the prices are good. Highly recommend the tri-tip, both flavors. Ask for the horse radish, amazing on the meat. My kids enjoy the pizza and bread sticks. We had the cartwheel salad and the garden salad, super huge and great flavor. I think this might be our new birthday location. Although I like the outside eating area at the Pasadena location better. Only gripe, they could use some better dessert options. Many people were bringing in their own desserts for birthday celebrations. read more

Gotta say this place was pretty good not very disappointed at all. Let's see where do I start, first I had the Caesar Salad, best Caesar Salad I've ever had so far hands down. Props on that. I ordered the tri tip med. rare and it was pretty damn tender, pretty good for what it was for sure. I also tried the BBQ chicken... Tasted AMAZING! I like the nice little char taste that goes with it and it was great. The only thing I didn't like so much was the bread sticks they smell great but lack the flavor. OH! Prices? Great prices for what u get with out a doubt. Nice friendly service, good food, and not to mention great prices. I will definitely be coming back again sometime! read more

First time there and truly enjoyed the food. The pizza in which I ordered was very good. I always order garlic on pizza and man was there garlic chunks on it that did not disappoint. Wish there was more bacon on the pizza but I'm not complaining. Next the tri-tip was legit. There was some sort of butter on the side which was really good and the tri-tip was tender and without a doubt best part of the meal. And service was great as people came by and always asked if we were doing fine and if we needed anything else. Salad was alright but again you can't beat the pizza and tri-tip. Will come back again. read more

Stonefire Grill - Greek Salad - American Near Me - Irvine, California

Great food at reasonable prices, I meet with a group here twice a month and we are always happy with the food and the service. I usually get the Ribs or Tri-Tip. One thing you have to learn is how to order. For example, a small salad feed 2 to 3 people, a petite salad is a meal size salad for one so if you want it a s a side you need to order the individual side salad. Same goes for some of their other items. Glen read more

At first, food AND service was awesome, now, everything has gone downhill. - Service is OK. I've been experiencing times where the Employees don't care about their job (slamming plates down where food almost went on us and short changing us). Last night, the Pregnant Lady who looked like The Manager seemed as if she just wanted to get off from work, roughly handed me my card and receipt to sign, and didn't bother to look in the bags she gave me. She forgot my Cheesecake where, luckily, I didn't drive off, had to get out of my car, and go back to get it. And not all Employees were trained the same. I had to order half well done steak when I was pregnant... Few employees said yes and some said can't do it. It's like, at least stay consistent! - Food has been more dry! - ONLY GOOD THING: family style and the cheesecake! Would've given this place 5 Stars in the beginning. read more

The food here is so good and the portion sizes are generous. The tri-tip and chicken are super tender and full of flavor. The salads and chips & guacamole are fresh. My personal favorite sides are the roasted cauliflower and mashed potatoes. Their bread sticks are also delicious. Due to covid, you can only order food to go/pick up. Their curb side pick up option makes everything super convenient - Just park in one of their marked spots and call them to let them know what spot you're in. They'll bring out your order, take your preferred form of payment and come out a couple mins later to hand you your receipt. Their staff are all super friendly as well! read more

I went here after a long day of Disneyland hoping we could just sit, eat, and be served drinks.
