The girl at the counter was very helpful and helped us order before we take the number vibrator thing to any table u can choose. My fiesta bowl salad with tri tip came out almost right away. Only $4 extra to add the meat. But we waiting almost 30 mins for the sandwich and had to go to the kitchen to ask about it. They brought it to us right after with a complimentary slice of carrot cake. My bf didnt seem to like it tho, it was slightly warm and maybe was sitting there for awhile and not brought out to us. I just discovered this place two weeks ago and I've been to two locations already. Their menu is wonderful, especially if you're a vegetarian. They do have plenty of meat options, but to find a vegetarian friendly place is difficult. I just wish there were more locations in South Orange County. Aliso Viejo,Laguna niguel or even lake forest! The food taste better and the Manager - Mariahs' customer service was simply outstanding. Mariah was kind (not in an overly kind of way, simply genuinely kind) and accommodating for our large group. She also came to check-in on us to ensure that we were okay and if we needed anything. The only downfall was needing the space for our group to sit together; unfortunately, that space was unavailable when we arrived and we had to break up into 4 booths. In Lakewood, they have the indoor patio with the space to push tables and chairs together if needed. All in all, I would definitely return to Brea and hope that Mariah is there!!! Their portions sizes are generous even if you order individual serving size. This is a order first then sit down restaurant, not full service. They will bring the order to your table though. I walked in and waited a while to be greeted. The young lady who greeted, checked us in, and charged us was welcoming. She welcomed us and let us know we order and sit down. They give us a pager and they would bring the food to us. We seat ourselves in any open booth available. It wasn't full but had a good amount of people there. It's a nice clean place nothing fancy, just a normal family vibe. My husband ordered the peppered tri tip with Caesar salad. I ordered BBQ grilled chicken with a rack of ribs with mashed potatoes. He received his meal first. I tried some of his tri tip. It was bland and all you can taste was the peppercorn. I then received my meal and it was dry bland chicken with a bunch of BBQ sauce to cover up the taste. The ribs tasted funny. Not sure what it was, my husband also tried my ribs and he said they were not good. I go to eat my mashed potatoes and they were cold. It took me quite some time to find someone to let them know because once they deliver your food, they don't come by to check on you. Remember we had already paid before sitting down. The mashed potatoes came back hot out the microwave. I know they used a microwave based on how the potatoes had crisping on the side. I ended up having a few bites of my husband's salad since you can't really mess up a salad. We took our leftovers and ended up throwing them away once we left out the door. Stonefire - I wanted to love you so bad today 6/25/2022!!!!!!!! We ordered 12" pepperoni pizza, tri tip and 1/4 chicken and bbq ribs with tri-tip. Here are my thoughts about our experience... 1. The venue and ambiance is really nice. You walk in and it smells and looks clean! Presentation is on point! 2. Staff, our lovely young lady who took our order was sweet and repeated back the entire order to make sure it was correct. 3. Pizza 10/10 - the crust was amazing and it was super crunchy- just the way the kids liked it! 4. Tri-tip and ribs- ribs were cold and tri tip was medium well and I asked for well done! I was bummed and didn't complain as we hate being that person! 5. Tri-tip and chicken - our tri tip had a lot more fat than usual and it was medium well as well. The chicken was a miss for me! It was really juicy but borderline not cooked fully.. maybe if it had 10 more minutes it would be well done and less pink! 6. SANDIES COOKIES!! I'm so disappointed with the two cookies we bought! They were super hard and tasted like it was a day old!!! I was super bummed about this as it's our favorite dessert to end our meal with! This is what my broke my whole experience as I'm such a cookie person!!! Maybe keep them in an air tight container as it tasted like it's been sitting out for a while! My kids ate half and called it quits Overall - the staff was friendly- food was good just needed a few adjustments and dessert was a fail!
