I always get good food here at a reasonable price. This time I ate in my car for some reason, but the dining room is large and spacious. The food to go that I picked up was hot and ready. I have patronized this restaurant before and have even used this location for catered events and family parties on a regular basis. For the most part they get it right. However today I waited for over 5 minutes at the front counter waiting to order, before I was even acknowledged. Mind you it wasn't overly busy. I was the only person in line waiting to place an order. Stonefire also didn't put my ordered chicken-entree, in the to-go bag. What's worse was didn't notice until I got home. Also they messed up on my daughters kids meal. No butter on the butter pasta. I called and spoke to the manager who did refund the chicken and pasta. Disappointing service to say the least! We had a party at Little Elephants kids playground, right across the street, I called the night before at 5:45pm to place an order for catering, (last minute mom) and April the manager was able to help me place an order for 45 - 50 guests. She made sure the kitchen was able to accommodate my party with pastas, salads, fruits, pizzas, pork burger sliders and chicken tenders for the kids. She made sure to place serving utensils, plates and napkins. Order was ready for pick up by 1:30pm next day in the trays. Wow she saved me and my party on such good food! We ordered another type of meat and asked for the dessert (as offered with their special). Mac and cheese was no better than that cheap kind you get from a box and a very small portion. BBQ Chicken was good not great. Meatballs were good not great. The garden salad was no better than you can get from a bag at the grocery store dumped into a small bowl "for two" with a tiny side of ranch. The service was fine, but the entire restaurant experience was low end cafeteria. Not going back, not for that price. The value is not there. Money wasted, but lesson learned. Thank you Stonefire for saving my Easter meal! Door dash cancelled my order 15 minutes before pickup time stating they were not able to connect with restraurant. With all holiday craziness going on at home I didn't see the email/text from Door dash until I arrived to pick up. The restaurant pickup area was in full swing of organized chaos, I was quickly addressed and they confirmed the preorder did not go through. I guess my face showed how defeated I felt with my guests on there way. A manager came over quickly to see what was going on and she had the counter person take my order and expedited it through even though it was clearly Door dash's fault. This restaurant has a Wierd concept first of all. To even order here is a nightmare to dine in all these people waiting confused on how this buisness goes. When we dined in all the booth tables were dirty and stayed dirty while we sat next to them. They bring the food and no forks you have to get up and go towards the back and get the forks and napkins ... so Wierd. We had such a great experience here! We ordered the Alfresto pasta but ended up receiving the regular Alfredo instead. It wasn't a big deal but one of the employees, Santiago, went above and beyond to make it right. Even after I told him it wasn't necessary, he still brought out a side of pesto so we could mix it in ourselves. We celebrated a family member's birthday at the Stonefire Grill in Brea recently and we had an exceptional experience at that restaurant. Even tho we had close to 20 guests...the manager James H. and all the staff were friendly and super helpful. I had pre-ordered a carrot cake a few days earlier...but I brought an additional cake from some other bakery...and the staff was kind enough to refrigerate the extra cake no problem. I ordered the mega feast and added an extra tri-tip, another rack of ribs, and extra breadsticks. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food...plus they were more than happy to bring some of the extra home. We came for a visit at this location since it's closer to us. Our first visit was at Hastings Ranch and we were impressed. We were happy with our visit here in Brea. Great customer service and they went above and beyond when there was an issue out of their hands. We appreciated their upfront communication and how they resolved the issue. Our food was great. I tried Stonefire for the first time and it was pretty good! It's cozy inside and they also offer outdoor patio seating. You order at the front, then wait for your food to be brought out to you. You seat yourself, so you can choose where you are sitting. I ordered the tri tip sandwich with a Caesar salad. My husband enjoyed a barbecue chopped tri tip salad, and my daughter had the ribs from the kids menu. It was tasty and we all enjoyed our meal.
