Fast efficient oil change. My dodge charger oil change that was done in 10 mins was $65-The price was definitely better price than say other businesses that offer 5 min oil changes but charge over $100 for cheap oil that's probably not the best for your car ‍. I had an air filter in the trunk and they offered and changed my air filter for no additional cost. Nice comfortable waiting area with restrooms. Glad I took my coworkers advice to try this place out for my oil change..definitely will come back again.

10/10 recommend Stinky's. This is my second time rushing for an oil change as I could no longer go a day longer. I was greeted the moment I pulled in and was told what the process would look like. In total took about 20 minutes and no service reps were pushy about other services. I had a few other issues that was taken care of without hesitation. Being that I'm just a girl & know almost to nothing about my car, I can appreciate that more than anything. I had the opportunity to converse with James & my goodness what a wonderful soul ! It's hard to come across wonderful customer service these days but this places offers just about the best service in Tempe ! If you are looking for a local small business with amazing service I 100% recommend Stinky's :)))

I have an Audi sport back and it was a hassle finding a place that had the parts. Found this online and gave it a try and they did AMAZING. The environment is cool. You get to play Pac-Man hahaha but it's got a retro vibe and the free popcorn and Pac-Man is a perk. Big shot to Lorenzo for the amazing customer service and for the flower thank you!!

Visited stinkys a few weeks ago and I would not go back and would recommend others to find someplace else. I came in for an oil change, which was completed very quickly(under 10 min), great on efficiency however after driving my vehicle, the engine sounds VERY loud/revvy. They also decided to look and remove my air filter/cabin air filter in an attempt to get me to purchase/install that. I declined because I can do that on my own. I imagine they noticed that I'm a female who is not very savvy in the car department and were trying to make a sale. The tech who spoke to me was a bit demeaning when I asked questions as well. I'm sure others have had nice experiences here but I won't be returning. read more

I've only taken my car here a couple of times because my usual place was full, and I do like the how professional the team is. The owner seems like a nice guy. I will continue to bring my car here. I also like that I get a flower at the end of my service. Makes me feel special! :) read more

One word... EASY! You drive in, tell them you need an oil change (or other services) and you're done in 20 minutes usually. Gentlemen, if you have a significant other bring her with and she will get a free flower from the owner. There is also free popcorn in the lobby. I have never had any issues here and they only recommend services that you actually need. Will always be back for oil changes! read more

Been coming over here for years now and so does my family for their oil change.Now that all ends because of a worker that decided to leave my freakin lights on upon inspection and could not put them back the way they found it.LIKE CMON WHY WOULD ANYONE HAVE THEIR HEADLIGHTS SETTING TURNED ON DURING THE DAY.I had brought the car and always have my headlights on auto.Did not bother to check my lights as I have always have my lights on auto and they turn on when the sun goes down.Neither does my headlights turn on during the day even if you have it switched on which is why I didn't notice because it wasn't popping up on my dash.I go home for the day without thinking much as it is still bright as day and it's about 4pm and go inside for the rest of the day until I take my dog for a walk around 10 and notice my car looked like it had been on which I found weird because i haven't been to my car.Thats when I go get my keys and that is when I noticed my car had been sitting all day in the sun just wasting away my car battery on lights that had been running when they SHOULDN't BE !! My car would not start and my battery was dead.I had to go and struggle to try to find a new car battery when all the auto zones were closed.Luckily there was one open til 12.I had to call up my friend to come and take me to autozone and get the battery and install it in the middle of the freakin night which is UNBELIEVABLE! I should have not be dealing with this problem I should not be spending almost $300 out of my pocket for a new battery all because of someone can't do their job properly.Imagine if I had not taken my dog outside I would of woken up today get ready to take my wife to work and my car would be dead.So thank you to the stinky's employee who moved my settings in my vehicle and did not put back the way they found it because you caused me to go through all that shit for no reason.And you think i will come back and give you more money to the business?No I will not be coming back and will be telling people not to and so will my family.We are taking our business elsewhere.FYI their popcorn is expired and had it out for people to eat. read more

Honestly I never knew that getting my oil changed could be such a pleasant experience! I came right when they opened, and the attendant greeted me right away and set me up to get my oil changed. He was super friendly! He directed me toward the lobby, which was clean and neat and air-conditioned. I only had to wait about 15 minutes before he was done. I was literally in and out within 20 minutes and I even got to work on time! He even did my windows for me which was amazing, and as I was checking out he gave me a pretty carnation! I thought that was such a nice touch. The price for my oil chance was definitely reasonable, and worth the fast and friendly service. I will definitely be back! read more

I love Stinky's! As a woman with 0 car knowledge it's always intimidating going to car place knowing they could make things up or try to scam you. Every time I've here been they've clearly laid out everything that they can do to help me, the price, and the option to choose from different services. The bearded man even saw that my engine fan was broken and asked if I'd rather go get my oil changed at the mechanic when I get it fixed- that was very kind as he cared about me and my car first, and money second! Reliable and trusted people here. (Also the first time they gave me a flower I was so flattered thinking I got hit on, but I realized they give all women flowers hahaha, I still love getting that flower at the end :) ) read more

I was overdue for an oil change and decided to give this place a try, and I have to say I am extremely satisfied with the service I received today! Was in and out in 20 mins. They were all super friendly. I brought my dog with and they allowed him to come in the lobby while we waited and even gave him a treat! :) And I got a pretty flower on the way out. I've had oil changes take me up to 2 hours even with an appointment. Stinkys on the other hand is always fast and easy, almost too easy! Being a women in a shop full of men can be intimidating but never here. Everyone is super nice and friendly, they don't try to over explain anything and are very transparent about their work. The flower they leave in the car after the oil change is just a cherry on top, thank you guys! Oh and as far as Covid policies go they are still wearing masks and keeping everything nice and clean! read more

I'm so happy I listened to these Yelp reviews, but honestly, who doesn't? This was very fast and easy! My boyfriend works the overnight shift and we have a road trip early tomorrow morning and he was dreading every moment he wasn't getting his sleep. He thought we would have to wait an easy 45 mins but this was not the case!! I swear it was even under 20 minutes!! The men there were friendly and made conversation. I believe the owner there is James and he was hilarious. They even gave me a beautiful flower that matched my Easter nails. This place is great, we will be coming here very often! I have included the picture of the flower and my receipt for the charge of a basic oil change. I do believe however I received some sort of discount about $5 so if it is a little off when you go in that may be why. Have a good day! read more

Posting a more updated review. After coming here for about 3 years, I continue to go back. Staff is always helpful and friendly. I just recently realized that they are also dog friendly! Brought my pup along for the ride today, for the first time. Even got a discount for bringing her in! She also was a fan of the flower at the end of our service (oil change and light bulb replacement this time, have also gotten my fuel injectors cleaned here). I had a wonderful experience here! This family run shop is honestly one of the best experiences I've had with a car shop ever. Fair priced and incredibly fast, I will be returning here for all of my car maintenance needs! They also spent 30 minutes helping me put back together a piece of my vehicle I managed to gracefully snap off at no extra charge. I've been a customer for a few years never had an issue but today they got me for $100 for a simple oil change because of an "synthetic up charge". There was never talk of this up charge when I asked if they could use a certain oil I requested. And when I contested the price at the end there was no trying to help or explain why. And for me I use their services because doing it myself was the same price as having them do the service but now with how the shop is ran and for the "up charge" I'm going to have to go back to doing it myself. Really disappointed with how they operate business now a days. But the employees that did the service to my car were awesome and no doubt I their abilities. As for the guy operating the store, he should go back to doing strictly oil changes. Also their up charge does not equate to the price of the oil. Total scam unfortunately. read more

Have been a loyal customer with my private vehicles (3) and my company's vehicles (5). Never had a problem. Went in today to get an oil change. There were no cars in the bays. But there were 3 workers gathered around a giant fan. None of them bothered to even acknowledge me. I waited for a few minutes then realized I WAS WASTING MY VALUABLE TIME. This is literally the best oil change experience I've ever had. No matter where I live in the valley I vow to always make the trek to this place to get my oil changed. Their excellent customer service and meticulous attention to detail has made me a customer for life. I've paid three times the price for an oil change at other places and the service I received couldn't even compare to Stinky's. Established in 2012.

Started by our Founder, Stinky in 1999, had some great ideas about oil change service. Stinky wanted all people to get treated with great care when it came to car service. So in 2012 Stinky's dream came true after 13 years, unfortunately he never got to see his dream come true. His owner James thought it would have been a great idea to name the shop in his honor since Stinky wanted great car care, he named it after him since he was a great dog. Stinky was our best friend and now he’s yours too.

I went to Stinkys today in Tempe for some car maintenance. This place is by far the GREATEST express lube I have ever been too!! They were able to receive my car immediately, I didn't have to wait at all. They were quick and efficient. They explained what they were doing so I knew what was going on, I'm a visual learner so this was perfect. Their waiting room environment was so pleasant and fun to be in. No kids myself, but they even had activities for kids! They went above and beyond an average job, I left feeling confident in what I received which was exactly what I came in for; they did not try to sell me on anything and I felt confortable which is such a nice change from other places I have been! They were quick with their work, done within minutes. They were so friendly and kind, they even remembered my family members that have been there before! The flower was the perfect touch to the end of the experience... Don't know what I mean? Go to Stinkys and find out!! I have never had a faster and more pleasant experience getting my oil changed anywhere. Everyone was honest and helped me get the best deal possible! I had a chip in my windshield that they went ahead and fixed since I was already there! I normally pay around $70 for an oil change, but minus the cost of my windshield chip and my cabin air filter, I paid $32! I was in and out with all 3 fixes/changes within 17 minutes! My son had a blast playing with they toys and having nothing off limits to him while we waited. The best part was the flower I got at the end, because who doesn't love getting a flower? I wish I had more cars, because I'd love to go back sooner! I'll definitely drive the hour and 15 minutes back in 7500 miles! read more

I have been going to Stinky's Lube for 15-20 years. James and his staff do a fantastic job. They are personable and professional. I first went to Stinky's when they were two blocks away because it was convenient for me. When James moved Stinky's 5 to 6 miles away I continued because of the service. I moved 3 years ago and It is over 100 miles round trip from my house to Stinky's and back and I still go because Of the service and I know that unlike some francizes I know that I will not be over charged for services I don't need. read more

Stinky's is THE BEST. James and Cody are always so nice to me and I'm not over charged, ever. They always look over my car every time I bring it in and explain to me what I need fixed and how they did it. I will never go anywhere else to get my oil changed or any fluid. Today I noticed my windshield wiper fluid was not coming out and they found a hole in the hose for it. Fixed it and looked at my tires for nothing. And they always give the ladies a carnation :) This place deserves 10 stars in my opinion. read more

I stopped by this placed based on yelp reviews and was certainly not disappointed. The staff are quick but thorough, courteous but respectful of your time, and the sole proprietor will charm your socks off but not upsell you. You can hang in the lobby with free WiFi and watch them work on your car, or you can hang outside and chat as they work on your car like they would their own. I just moved to Tempe and needed an oil change ASAP. Checked yelp and these guys came highly recommended... rightfully so. Super fast, cheaper than the competitors, and the owner was an amazing guy. I literally had a conversation with him the entire time as he changed my oil. Oh, and on top of that, they filled the air up in my tires and recommended where to go and how not to get ripped off with a tire change / rotation. I have to admit, a huge motivation for return was I knew I would get a flower! These guys are awesome and trustworthy. They topped everything off, and let me know what needs to be dealt with, immediate and future, some things outside of their capacity to work with, and recommended a mechanic upon request. Went there last week for an oil change for my girlfriend's 99 Miata MX-5. These guys are the bomb!!! I'm a service advisor myself and I recognize great customer service. On a Friday afternoon I stopped in just to make an appointment and got right in!!!! It was the fastest and friendliest experience I have had at any oil change place since I have been down in the valley!!! I will definitely be back and going to have some mechanical work done soon!!! You couldn't ask for a shop with more integrity. We brought our 2017 Subaru Impreza to Stinky's for service on a few occasions. There were issues that were out of the ordinary (the oil pain drain plug was NOT coming off). The Owner James Bryant went out of his way to personally see that the problem was fixed/resolved. You feel like he is giving you treatment reserved for friends and family. read more

These guys are amazing! Stopped in for an oil change and it took less than 15 min. Shortly after leaving I had a notification that a bulb was out somewhere on the car. The team found the bulb, directed me what to get at pep boys and had it changed for me in minutes all free of charge. Everyone was so polite and helpful. I was in and out in under 20 minutes for an oil change and a few other things--which is practically unheard of these days. I went there to see about my turn signal relay I needed replaced, and while I expected the car to be there for hours, they fixed it in about 15 minutes! Wonderful service by good, trustworthy folk. Couldn't recommend it more, and this will definitely be the first place I come to whenever I have an issue! read more
