I have been coming to this car wash since Jackson's acquired it the Danny's Car Wash years ago. I purchase a monthly pass and I put it to good use. I have my car washed 1-2 times a week, but mostly average 2 times a week. You would think that a Car Wash would be boring and dull. That would be where YOU WOULD BE WRONG!!! Starting when you arrive there are always friendly and welcoming staff that greet you. Then you prepare to go into the CAR WASH and you are greated by Mikko who quite honestly has never been a stranger to anyone he has ever met. He gets the process rolling. I have had many a discussion on so many topics with Mikko while preparing to go into the car wash. He makes everyone feel like a rock star and treats them that way. Then you get out to the line where they finish the experience. That is where I am consistently met by Chuy. I call Chuy the CAR FINISH AMBASSADOR. He makes sure that EVERYTHING is done to your satisfaction. He then sends you on your way. You seen I don't find CAR WASHES to be boring. With people like Mikko and Chuy greating you it is never a DULL DAY! Like I say I come in usually 2 times a week and always look forward to seeing my guys who always provide a great service and a wonderful interactions. I won't take my car anywhere else. Had my vehicle in for a car wash. It was not touched after the wash. Twenty-five minutes and nothing was completed. Interior, tire dressing and vacuuming. No one really had any sense of urgency. Very bad service. read more

Shell fuel station so if you have fuel rewards you'll get a discount or if you have a Kroger card use that as well. Clean inside and outside the fuel station. I didn't use the car wash but it was pretty busy so I'm assuming that it does its job well. read more

The service was amazing!! I was given a discount right away. I got a car wash along with a detail deal. My Jeep has seen better days. It was filthy with all the moving I have done. I have treated my Jeep like a storage unit too. Lol!! Chewy did an excellent job. I mean, he did an amazing job. He was able to get all the dog hair and dirt out of the carpet. The whole place has a questionable vibe. The Car Wash does not do a very good job and when you try to interact with their online system in my case, anyway you're unable to cancel your membership. It was a bit of a hassle to make sure it got canceled. Would've really liked to keep it because it's right next to my place. But that's how bad the Car wash is. read more

Have utilized this car wash several time and the employees have been nice. But, last wash, I too found a scratch on the back lift of my 2025 Subaru! Must be the initial mop scrub before entering the wash alley. Probably has rock or metal in it. They need to shake out the mop before each use... read more

I came in the store today to get a coffee and to get cash so I could tip the car wash guys. Coffee station was a mess and out of a lot of stuff. The store was empty and the guy barely looked. I gave up and I asked if I could get cash back with the coffee purchase. I tapped before the guy told me I couldn't get cash if I tapped. It was almost impossible to hear him anyway. I've had a membership here for car washes for many years. I'm going to avoid this one. Just awful. read more

The cashiers outside are so disrespectful and lazy, all I wanted was a car wash but there ego is more important to them.

I'm not one to write reviews, but this wash was so horrible that I had to. I had dirt spots on the hood of my car and was guaranteed they would be able to get it off with their $20 car wash. An employee saw my car like this (photo below) before I left, and told me I was all clean good to leave. Imagine my surprise when I came home and it almost looked worse than when I brought it in. I spent 20 minutes with a rag and tap water getting them all off myself (to which they came off pretty easily). The wax from the wash also balled up and stuck to the hood of my car in some areas, and now won't come off. I'm worried it will ruin my paint. Absolutely never coming here again, this was such a waste of money. Please save your money and go somewhere else! read more

While there are two car washes within 1 mile of my home, I drive 20 minutes away to Jackson Car Wash on Rio Salado Drive in Tempe. The reason is simple. This Jackson car wash location has provided and continues to provide an exceptional experience on every visit. I especially appreciate the outstanding service I receive from Chewy and T! This past week T provided what I believe is the best experience I've ever had at a car wash. It was so obvious that he appreciated and valued my business in the way he cared for my car. I was amazed how quickly and professionally he worked on cleaning my car to perfection. I actually drove out of there very excited to share the results with my wife. You would think paying $35 for a car wash you would get a pretty good car wash but that is not the case with this place. The person in taking cars asked me what scent I would like I said "vanilla" he said OK then tried to upsell me for the membership I said "no" then he said "new car smell right?" I said "no, vanilla " And then he successfully upsold me on getting my carpet floor mats washed for five extra dollars, so I said OK I head inside to pay and there is no employee at the register but a line of three people waiting. One employee was at the other end of the lobby but didn't care that there was a line waiting. So the rest of the experience was normal until the end. One of the guys hand drying cars calls for my vehicle and I go to it and when I go to get in O see the floor mats missing. I asked where the mats where and he said "They are in the back cause they are wet" I have an SUV so the back back). I think nothing of it and head home. When I got home I went to take the floor mats out of the back and they were dripping wet and he threw them on a folded blanket I keep in the back of my car for traveling. So now I have a soaking wet blanket, two soaking wet floor mats, and the car inside just smells like wet dog. So I pull the mats and hand them in my garage to dry. The next day I went to put the now dry mats into my car and notice that they didn't even attempt to vacuum the floor of the back seat. I just have to give a huge shoutout to an incredible employee at the Car Wash! I don't know his name, but he's a Black man who always goes above and beyond with his customer service. Every time I came through, he would pre-spray my car, wipe it down, and even shampoo it--giving top-notch quality service before I even entered the wash. It was something I thought was included in the car wash but now a new guy took over and didn't do any of that. If anyone knows who I'm talking about, I just want to say--thank you! I've come to this car wash a lot. I have a membership and it's worth every penny. Sam did an outstanding job, best wash I've had. My car was filthy from a Mexico drive. He wiped everything super detailed and all the bugs were done front the front of the car. We had sunflower seeds pour out all over the car, there was not one when he was done. read more

Saturday, September 13th I pulled into the car wash. I was looking to get my vehicle detailed. They sold me a package and told me my car wash would only be about 15 minutes when purchasing the package. I told them I didn't have that much time that day and i was told if I purchased the package that day, they'd give me additional services and I could come in at a later date which was fine. I dealt with Patrick. Who was the manager there. So after completing the purchase, I was told it would only be about 15 minutes for me just to get a VIP car wash and I could come back for the detailing. Mind you, I sit and waited for 2 hours. I then found Patrick the manager and told him I was not happy. I was not satisfied and I just wanted to cancel the whole thing. They had over promised and did not notify me how understaffed they were so I set for 2 hours, and then, when I asked for a refund, Patrick started to antagonize me because he thought I cursed at him. Which I didn't, and then he had his guys stop detailing or cleaning my car. He then proceeded to keep antagonizing me and slammed my car door. I asked for a copy of my receipt. He then ripped it up in my face. And told me all sales are final after that, I told him I need to speak with a manager or his supervisor he told me he was in charge and that his job was secure because he's been there 9 years, and nothing can happen to him. Instead of the escalating, the situation and trying to keep a customer happy, he continued to. Yell and said that his co-workers that they're with him were his witnesses and they had his back. Today, I received a call from another manager. That is even below Patrick. And he told me he would note the incident and pass my information to the owners, or people above him, because he cannot give out their information. So here I am no car, wash, no detailing. And I'm still waiting to speak with somebody about this incident. It's a sad world when something as simple as a car wash can turn to something so negative. As a retired veteran with PTSD, the last thing I ever want to do is be challenged antagonized or belittled because I got poor and terrible service. I will never use this facility or business again based on your one employee and the experience that I went through. I always get an basic exterior wash but got the uptown wash this time and they didn't do what supposedly comes with it. The website lists it includes hand applied wheel/tire shine and premium ceramic wax and didn't get either. I went through the car wash, they hand air dried briefly and that was it. The vacuums are 50/50 as well. You'll just have to hope you pulled up to a spot with good vacuums. If they're scamming me in the top exterior wash, I would not come for a full service or detailed wash. If you need a basic wash ($10) and have a coupon, this place would be okay. I have reviewed Jackson Car Wash a year ago & my experience in the past was not good due to the lack in Quality of Service & Customer Care. The experience I had today mirrored the exact same thing from last year: 1. Drove up...I was told to upgrade to the Ultimate because it's their best package. After I said..the windows will be cleaned & inside with be vacuumed/cleaned...the guy said yes. So I went for it. 2. Waited till they called me that my car was ready. I walked up & handed the detailer $10 tip. So I inspected my car...long behold there was a huge spot where the vacuum never visited. I showed the detailer & this is what he says: "they should have done that in the front, sorry man"...as he walks away with $10 tip in tow. There was no attempt to make things right. Quality of service FAILED. 3. Then I go to the vacuum area & the guy in the front walks by me...so I proceeded to show him the "un-vaccumed " area...he then says: "well drive it to the front if you want me to do it"....no attempt to make things right again. Customer service FAILED. 4. The lack of motivation to make things right was enough for me to not engage with the employees. Remember...the basic service that a customer pays for is to get their vehicles vacuumed! And if the customer upgrades to the highest tier being sold, the level of customer expectations are higher. Basic service was a failure, I was really looking forward to re-writing my previous post to a better experience but DAMN I WASN'T EXPECTING THE SAME THING TO HAPPEN AGAIN. I personally don't recommend this place. There's plenty of other "local" car wash places that takes pride in what they do...like the one on University & Dobson called Five Star. I have been going here for almost two years now to get our vehicles washed and the CarWash service is horrible. Employees literally drag their feet with whatever task they have. Every employee on their phones when they are supposed to be working. Their vacuums do not ever work, either. Improvements could be, teach your employees what customer service is and how to communicate professionally. The cashier ladies and guys in the gas station are awesome and always friendly and provide excellent customer service. Stay away from the car wash, they are rude and it's a ripoff read more

Wash and Detail Works are part of the INTERIOR REFRESH package. Upon inspection of the vehicle, the exterior is still dirty and the interior is once again being vacuumed from where the first group half did it! The salesman (first name begins with an "A") assured me that the mats would be removed and vacuumed under. NOT. I Asked to speak with In Charge Manager, only to be Told by Non-manager (first name also begins with an "A") that all the manager would do is what they are doing now- go over the work again. She never did get the manager, though I asked twice. The exterior/interior did look "better" the second time, and I thanked the gentleman for going over the work again, only to discover that the back cup holder had not been done at all. To the detailer's credit, he came back over and took care of the matter. I've been to this place a few times, in an effort to keep businesses viable in the midst of COVID19, and tip generously. When giving them reviews, I try to find a positive, or choose to remain silent. NOT TODAY. Perhaps it was the rush to get home for Superbowl. Perhaps the front side didn't properly communicate with the back side. Whatever the reason, the level of service was poor. I do not recommend getting your car washed or "detailed" here. Not just because of today, but for all the others days that led up to this one. And for all the other awful reviews days and months prior to my coming today. We don't know each other and yet, our stories are similar. What you will come away with is a shakedown and a wipedown, followed by a letdown. 5/21/25 1:30 pm. Jackson Carwash Tempe guy upsells me from 1/2 price Wednesday car wash deal (VIP Works) to a specially priced detail . When the guy handed me my keys he pointed out that the front passenger tire was soft. I drove directly to Discount Tires. They found a nail in the tire as well as a screw lodged in the tread of rear passenger tire. Being distracted by that, it was only when I finally made it home about 5 pm that I realized that there were a number of dirty places, stick shift, cupholder, ignition, between seats, etc. Worse, whatever they used to clean the driver side door stained the finish permanently. What had been a uniform dark gray now has blotches of a lighter color. l haven't been back since. I might settle for a refund and a monthly VIP Works for a year a sincere apology from the crew working that day. Think that it'll happen? And, yes, I got the name of the guy who handed me my keys.
