Found Wash Werks on Yelp while looking for a car wash near ASU and came here based on the positive reviews. Glad I did. It's a self-service, drive-thru style wash that are prevalent now, with a vacuum and air hose that you can finish the car off with. Easy, good-sized location to get in and out of, and easy to select your wash. You pick your wash and pay at the machine prior to entering the drive-thru. I chose the "Manager's Special" and the car came out great. Came on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all. In and out of the wash and plenty of spaces to pull in and vacuum afterwards. It was so dirty that there was still a little bit of residue left after I got through the car wash so I talked to the guy at the entrance of the car wash and he said that I could run it through again to get all the residue and dirt off. Very very very disappointed in Wash Werks Went through the wash the first time and everything was good, the jeep was still a little dirty so I went through again, the man working forgot to lift the brush bar and as I was going through my jeep was just tossed around ripped my light bar off the bar came down and scratched my roof, cracked my windshield, bent my light bar brackets!!!! I wasn't very happy!!! I went into the office right after the kid working came up to me and apologized and said it was all his fault he forgot to the raise the bar I said "what an expensive mistake dude ". Guy said to come in on Tuesday (today) went in and it was just unprofessional the guy working gave us attitude and told us they can't do anything about it and basically just told us it sucks to suck. $8 cheapest wash. Kiosk was "Out of change" so instead of $10 change I only got a "voucher." Ugh. No free unlimited pre-moistened towels like Clean Freak. Here they are $1 each. I don't need to buy more towels or throw it away when I'm done, which I'm sure a lot of people do. At Clean Freak you can use as many as you like for free at the vacuum stations, before or after (or both) your wash, unlike here where you buy the towel at the wash kiosk. You also don't have to take the towels home at Clean Freak, just put them back in the "used" bucket and know they'll be washed and reused. It's nice to be able to use different/multiple towels for the interior touch up and exterior touch up as well. One towel just isn't enough to do it all. Let alone one dry one (Clean Freaks' are pre-moistened). If you use 4 towels here, it makes Wash Werks' basic wash $12 ($8+$4) compared to Clean Freak's $6 w/unlimited towels. That's TWICE as much for a basic wash at Wash Werks! Is the wash twice as good? No. Wash Werks left me with water spots just like Clean Freak does, which is why you absolutely need the towels at both places. So I was left with a less clean car at Wash Werks -- plus it's less convenient at Wash Werks to buy, receive and deal with your own used towel. I won't be back. read more

I yelped this location and agree with the reviews. The male greeter was nice, the order system was easy to use, I just wish access to buy cleaning accessories was closer to the vacuums. The vacuums are great! Suck well and extend a great length. They clean quickly and the mat holder is a genius move. The free vacuums really make it worth the while. I drove a few miles to get here but the reviews outweighed the inconvenience and I'm glad they delivered. I enjoyed it a lot and would use it again! read more

Stopped by for a car wash while there was no line and was surprise by their deals! Top wash was only $22 ($10 more for another) and they also included an air freshener and dash wipe. Car wash is a conveyer belt but one of the nicer ones I've been too. Will be back again. read more

Yesterday we met the owner who was promoting their new ceramic coating wash and he gave us a coupon to get us to try it. It is supposed to UV protect and make the car much more shiny! The "services offered" section of this location's yelp page, which claims to be company-verified, is inaccurate/misleading or their employees don't know what they are talking about. I stopped in today looking for a hand wash specifically - something they have listed in the "services offered" section - and was told that they do not do hand washes. Before even driving in I tried calling to inquire about the cost of their hand wash but their listed phone numbers on Yelp and Google went unanswered. The only employee I encountered at this location informed me, after I arrived in person, that they only offer the automated washing tunnel and self-service vacuuming stations. I went in specifically looking for a hand wash and was informed by this company's Yelp page that they offered this service. On a singular positive note the automated wash did a pretty thorough job and didn't seem to leave any marks or scratches on my vehicle. Tl;dr - blatantly false/incorrect advertising on Yelp regarding services offered (hand wash) and phone numbers that go to no one. Still works for a decent, relatively inexpensive automated wash though. read more

It was surprisingly slow for a Saturday afternoon! But, that was also nice because it was more relaxing than a chore. And no line. (But, a monsoon is rolling in so only a few of us would opt to wash a car right now LOL!) The setup here is the easiest. Efficient & well laid out. 3 tiers to offer for washes. All are decent. And the complimentary dash wipe/scent pad are always appreciated! I went with the 2nd tier wash this time. It's decent. Can't brag about it when it doesn't scrub anything extremely well. Still have some debris on my windshield & front grill. But, everything else is washed nicely. Seems the more caked or difficult spots are the leftovers. But, they do pre-soak manually as you enter the automated tunnel. The vacuums here are preferred. Not too strong but plenty of suction to get the job done w/ the air spray to loosen anything. Lots of stations so there's not a wait & the floor mat rack is handy! I like this one much more than others. They offer memberships for unlimited washes & decent discounts. I love the convenience of this being right next to QuikTrip at the nearest major intersection to me. It's easy access & well managed. When comparing to some of the other popular chains- this is my preferred. read more

First off, let me be real. I cancelled my last membership because it was just ok, but not great. That said, I tried the highest-tier option Wash Werks had and dude was talking about some "acryllic coating" or some such sales-man's pitch, but was like whatever man let's do this. I rolled up, my man handed me an individually-wrapped "wet-wipe" for your dash and steering wheel, and another individually wrapped air-freshener square you put under your seat right before your cars about to shine. (Damn, color me impressed at this point.) Ya'll... When my car came out, even the bumpers were shining like the metallic hood and trunk (bumpers aren't metallic anymore and usually aren't as shiny for this reason.) This car wash is like the honey badger. This car wash don't care. This car wash don't give a F*#k!!!! It's about to make everything that goes through it shine and make you proud, like you're taking a pornstar to the prom! When you're done, they have complimentary (free) vacuums and air-hoses to blast away any residual wet spots so your baby is looking glossy and not spotty like Sprint's coverage. In another unexpected perk, the dressing that went on my rims and tires, made the black shine like it was just elected President. I didn't know black rims and tires could shine like that. I bought my Tesla, brand new, from the factory. It came out here shining way brighter than the day I picked it up from the factory. This car wash is legit! Now they out of the blue changed it and don't give the wipe and deodorant strip, it was nice for awhile but really..? The whole reason I joined... What this tells me is they can and will change their prices at their whim, you can pay for their monthly subscriptions but will change without letting you know.. Total BS if u ask me.. The vacuums are amazing. I love that there is a vacuum on each side of your car. And the vacuums suck. They really do! So many places have vacuums that won't suck up a piece of lint. I was a member of this car wash, since 2017, when they opened. I was always very happy with the service and the wash. The employees are great, the products used were top notch. Then they made some changes to the products they used, and when I noticed in September that I was no longer getting tire shine, and commented, I was told that the price I was paying no longer covered tire shine or other things that had been included in my membership. I had not been told, would now have to pay extra, to get the things I had gotten before. This kind of seemed like a nose-thumb to customer loyalty.....They could have maintained prices, with an upgrade for ongoing customers, instead of the bait and switch change that happened. It was explained to me that I would be getting so much more for the extra, but I was pretty unhappy, as I had been happy with what I was getting before and I would be getting less, for the same price, or pay an extra 6 bucks on top of the $30 I was paying to get the tire shine I had enjoyed. I canceled my membership, and I'm trying another local car wash, which is the same price I was paying at wash Werks before, all inclusive, and has a $16.95 version with everything I liked in the $30 version at washWerks . It's fine, though the employees would never measure up to those at wash Werks. All that being said, before the bait & switch, I was very happy with washWerks, and they are directly on my way to work, while the other is not. I have just purchased a new car and am considering going back for a bit, to see if tne higher price is worth it. If I do, I will update my review if I think it was. I was impressed. Very quick easy to figure out the automated system. Thought my car looked nice and clean. I went with the basic option for 5.99 I saw vacuums but it was hot out so I didn't even bother. But to be honest it would be nice to get interior cleaned also. I've usually had positive experiences since this place opened and have continued to frequent even when one day it suddenly went from the usual $3 car wash to the $4 car wash (which doesn't quite have the same ring to it). I was lucky I had $4 with me that day or I guess I'd have had to back up or only get to go 3/4 of the way through. When it first opened I enjoyed it's convenience but was especially impressed with the power of their vacuums. As someone who drives for a living and keeps his car clean this was a major bonus. Most wash establishments always seem to have a few (or all) lame hoses that you invariably commit to then learn you have to either move your vehicle or determine if all the hoses suck (no pun intended). Additionally, there are two hoses on each side so you don't have to wait for the sluggish person next to you to finish their mini-van next to you before you can get to work. The owner told me it was an extremely expensive system. My last visit, however, left me a little disappointed. I'm not sure if I went at the precise wrong time of day or what, but business was booming. While nothing can be done to accelerate the time required to wash a car, there seemed to be a few issues that the staff was struggling with. I took the inside lane then noticed the woman a few cars ahead of me was having some kind of issue paying. I believe it may have had to do with some app on her phone that neither she nor the employee could resolve. I must have waited at least ten minutes. When I finally got past that confusion, the person that directs the vehicles kept disappearing or changing which was odd and frustrating. All went well until I got to the vacuuming. Of course I pulled into the bay where the tip of the unit was slightly cracked, so much so, that the power of the suctioning was causing it to close, thus negating it's effectiveness. I'll deal with the 33% increase in cost but have concerns about it being the long term destination for washes though. read more

Went in this week before the storms. Luckily was greeted by the owner himself at one of the pay stations! He told me all about their Monthly Unlimited Club and I realized with all this bad weather it makes perfect sense. I've already been 3x since signing up. I no longer have to worry about the weather and when I should wash my car. I elected to go for their middle package called "The Manager's Special". It costs $24.95/month but allows me to go whenever I want. I have already brought my friend with me and I think she is going to sign up to. I've been to around four different car washes close to my house, Wash Werks is the furthest and I will drive out of my way to go to this one. It's always clean and very well tended to. Everyone is very kind. I locked my keys in my car and the staff was very helpful, they waited with me while I waited for help. Besides the kind staff and cleanliness, my car comes out clean and the vacuums are THE BEST! The prices are super reasonable, they even have monthly VIP packages, which is great for Arizona summers.
